Author's Notes: Hello there! I am Hong Cong and this is my attempt at getting back into fanfic/storywriting.

Over the last couples years, i'd been trying to write a Senran Kagura story but had always been stumped. Whether it be writing a story with an OC that's either male or female (And no, it wouldn't be a harem story as I generally hate those kinds of stories). I'd gone through concepts such as an American born hunter/huntress who had an Axe and shotgun or Japanese spear wielder and I could never get the concepts right. So I decided might as well work with characters that are already shown. And I decided why not go with the Hakuoh girls academy students. Get away from Hanzo, Gessen, Hebijo, and the Crimson squad.

One thing I like: Tomboys having growth spurts. I love how they try to hide their growth from their friends. As the man who made 2B from Nier Automota once said: "I like girls." Same concept applies with me.

As many disclaimers go: I do not own Senran Kagura or its characters. I hope you enjoy this little short story.

**Early morning**

"Come on….Come on!" Kanzaki growled in frustration as she tried to get her bra on. Somehow or at some point, her breasts had grown bigger and that fact frustrated her to no end. She had noticed over the last few days that her bras were getting tighter and buttoning her uniform was more difficult but those were negligible. Today was not one of those days. She turned to face the mirror just to see how far she was and what she saw shocked her. The clamp barely reached the middle of her back.

"Damn it!" She threw the now useless garment in frustration. While she didn't mind her breasts before, as they were already pretty big just like most of her schoolmates, and most other girls see saw, but for them to grow this big? Enough to have her scream. Thankfully today was Saturday so classes and meetings with the Public Morals committee wouldn't be long but she still dreaded going. One wrong puff of her chest, one wrong movement and she saw a wardrobe malfunction happening.

"Ok….Maybe Mom has a bra I can wear for today. Hopefully My shirt can last just for today…."

**Hakuoh Girls Academy main gate**

"Alright, you're all set. Go on in!" Kanzaki, along with her friends Kochou and Chihaya did morning uniform inspections of the students coming in. So far so good and thankfully nothing of note had occurred. Kanzaki thankfully had a bra that fit her (thanks Mom) and she didn't have to move or puff out her chest much. She felt on thin ice as is and she needed to get through the school day. As Kanzaki waved the girl she inspected off, the next one appeared nervous as she approached the tomboy. "Hey, are you ok? You don't have anything to fear."

The girl squeaked and to Kanzaki's surprise a button pinged off her uniform, leaving the girl blushing. "S-sorry miss Kanzaki! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Kanzaki rubbed her brow as she knelt down to pick up the button. Kanzaki appeared angry before she saw that the girl was facing a similar problem, all the buttons of her shirt strained. "I-I couldn't find a bra and haven't ordered a new shirt! I'msorryitwon'thappenagai-"

"Calm down." Kanzaki raised her hand and gently pat the girl on her head. "I'm…Kinda having a similar situation. So be careful, and you passed inspection, besides this little problem." Kanzaki whispered as she handed the girl her button, giving a quick wnik and sending the girl on her way. As she did so, Kochou and Chihaya observed, having finished their inspections.

"Hmm? Now I wonder what's going on with Kanzaki?" Kochou asked Chihaya, who could only shrug.

"Perhaps we can ask at the meeting. Kanzaki has looked a bit stressed as of late." Chihaya replied. "Her movements seem more…stilted. I hope she's ok." Kochou could only look on in concern for her best friend. Was something going on at home? Or elsewhere? One way to find out she supposed…

**Hakuoh Public Morals Committee meeting room**

Classes had finished and clubs were occurring. The Public Morals committee meeting had been about the same thing, mostly how other clubs could present their activities without breaking the rules and guidelines for guests to follow when they visit for the Hakuoh cultural festival. So far Kanzaki had tuned out a bit as she looked slightly down to her shirt. The buttons were barely holding up but she had her blazer buttoned to conceal it. Thank the gods above.

"Now, the last topic for today's meeting: Kanzaki."

Kanzaki was shook from her thoughts as she heard her name from Kochou, and noticing all eyes were on her. "What about me, Kochou? Is something wrong?"

Her best friend gave her a stern bur concerned look. "Kanzaki, we've been noticing over the last few days some changes in your behavior. You seem less focused. Your movements more stilted and deliberately slow. Is everything ok?" The tomboy nodded her head, a bit nervously. This did not go unnoticed.

"You hesitated there. Are you sure?" Chihaya asked. Kanzaki was starting to feel annoyed.

"Everything's fine. I've just had a lot on my mind is all…." She answered back. Kochou and Chihaya knew she was lying so they turned to Kisaragi, who held up some papers.

"Today during the uniform inspection, you approached one of the girls a but more closely than needed. A button of hers came off and you said something that seemed to calm her down." Kisaragi read off as she narrowed her eyes towards her blazer. "You also seem to have buttoned up when you normally didn't. Hiding something Kanzaki?"

Kanzaki felt nervous. Had she really gotten that sloppy? "Nothing was wrong. And I'm not hiding anything. The girl just had a minor malfunction and she said she'd get it rectified. Ok?" She glared at her fellow committee members, who all looked worried. All except Kochou, who had a rather devious smile on her face.

"Unbutton your blazer Kanzaki." Kochou requested firmly. Kanzaki shook her head as she glared daggers at her friend. "If you don't have anything to hide, unbutton your blazer. You're hiding something. Something BIGGER I'm sure~"

The Tomboy actually froze at the word 'bigger' as she stood up. "I believe this meeting is over, time to go…."

"Kisaragi, Ranmaru. Remove that blazer." Kochou ordered as the glasses wearer and the youngest member quickly pounced Kanzaki, who struggled to hold their stronger friend down.

"Get off me!" Kanzaki shouted as she tried to get the two off her, Ranmaru being easier to deal with while Kisaragi was more difficult. Eventually Kisaragi was able to unbutton the blazer bit by until all were undone and everyone but Kochou looked on in surprise.

"Kanzaki….Why would you lie to us? Why would you try to hide how much more you grew?~" Kochou giggled as Kanzaki's stood up nervously, breasts bouncing slightly as Ranmaru and Kisaragi backed off. That didn't stop the former from giving them a poke, much to the tomboy's dismay as she swatted the hand as it tried again.

"I'm sorry. I felt embarrassed….The girl from today had a similar situation…." Kanzaki muttered. Kochou smiled, glad her best friend was being more honest as she strolled over to inspect her.

"I have to say, I think I like what I see~" The Public Morals committee president cooed as she gently and carefully gave each of the Tomboy melons a squeeze, Kanzaki's face lighting up with a fierce shade of red as she did so. "And I can see why you wanted to hide them, one wrong move and you'd send a button flying!" Kochou laughed as as Kanzaki stood up fully, the action causing her chest to puff out and send all the buttons flying off, one of which hit Ranmaru square in the forehead and knocking the girl out.

"Whoops…."

"Ohohohohoho~!"

"Oh dear….."

"Hmmm….Impressive..."

**A few minutes and lots of Ojou laughter later**

"Ok Kanzaki, lets see how much you have grown." Chihaya said as she held up a tape measure. Kanzaki had taken off her shirt and her bra, leaving herself exposed to her friends, and raised her arms up for Chihaya to measure. As she did so, her eyes seems to grow wider and wider in surprise as she counted past the 90 cm mark. "95, 96, 97, 98…..Wow…"

"Oh my my Kanzaki, you seem to have surpassed me!" Kochou could only laugh at the news, leaving Kanzaki to cover her face in embarrassment. Kisaragi raised her brow in amusement, though her own subtle smiled had a very lewd edge to it. Ranmaru could only mutter about melons and buttons, still knocked out from the impact from earlier.

"We may need to inspect the rest of your body. Could you please strip down? This won't take long." Chihaya requested. Kanzaki felt somewhat better that it was Chihaya doing the measuring instead of Kochou. Much as she cared about her best friend, she preferred Chihaya's calmness for matters like this. "Waist, 60 cm. Hips….92 cms. Wow Kanzaki, you had one heck of a growth spurt!"

Kisaragi seemed to have a nosebleed as she quickly grabbed a tissue and plugged her nose. Chihaya wrote down the measurements to be sent to the medical office for future reference as she told Kanzaki she can dress up. Ranmaru was still knocked out, with her mechanical bear Kumapooh fanning her. And Kochou, once Kanzaki was done getting dressed, just smiled in wry amusement.

"Well Kanzaki, I think a punishment for lying to your fellows is in order." Kochou declared. The tomboy could only guess what the President would do. She prayed not being in a room full of crooked things.

"Your punishment shall be…..Going clothes shopping with me. We need to get you new undergarments to match your new measurements." Kanzaki let out a sigh of relief. That wasn't too bad. She'd shop with Kochou before.

"Ok then…."

"And," Kochou interrupted, her smile now devious once more "I will be picking out all of your clothes. I'm sure you'd do well with some new lingerie and dresses. No ifs, ands, or buts~"

Kanzaki could only let out a loud groan. She could handle girl's clothes in small quantities but all of her new clothes being girly? Put her in a room full of crooked items and let her hang upside down!

Let me know what you thought and, maybe at some point, I may write a follow up chapter. Emphasis on maybe, as procrastination and writer's block is a utter bitch.

Also, Kanzaki's new measurements are a reference to another anime series character who is also the same height as her. Take a guess.

Hint: the scent of sake blows on the wind.
