Arc, "You're jealous aren't You?"
Ciara, "I'm not jealous."
Arc walked around the courtyard with Chloe. They were talking and looking at different carts. They held hands as they walked along.
Princess Angelica watched as they walked. She sighed, Chloe is lucky.
Chloe and Arc had met at the tasty trunk one day. They seemed like the perfect match. And that started their relationship.
"And that was the day I lost my chances with Arc," Princess Angelica muttered to herself. "Why am I thinking about this?" She thought out loud.
Shaking her head slightly she kept watching the pair. It may have seemed creepy but she felt jealous. Prudy was the only one that knew she liked Arc.
Prudy also understood what she was feeling. I mean the guy Princess Angelica liked probably only thought of her as a friend.
Suddenly Arc and Chloe laughed about something. They looked so happy and this made Princess Angelica feel even worse.
Retreating to her room she sat on her bed and stared out her balcony. Maybe changing to Ciara will make me feel better?
In a flurry of sparkles Princess Angelica was replaced with Ciara. Except she didn't feel any better.
"Why can't I just forget about my feelings?" Ciara crossed her legs as she sat on her bed. She felt heartbroken, small tears fell down her cheeks. But what could she do about it?
Ciara didn't notice Arc as he jumped into her room from the balcony. As soon as Ciara spotted him walking towards her she quickly wiped her eyes and tears.
"What's wrong?" Arc asked standing in front of her. Obviously he had noticed her tears. "Nothing," Ciara looked away.
"Oh come on Ciara. I know when you are sad. I'm like your best friend!"
Best friend. The words hit her hard. That's all she would ever be with him.
"Wait," Arc stared at her for a second, "Are you jealous?"
"Huh?" Ciara looked at him, "Jealous of what?"
"Chloe and I." Arc sat next to her while Ciara frowned slightly. How did he guess it so easily?
"Why would I be?" Ciara asked, trying to make her voice sound truthful.
"The way you were watching us before," Arc answered.
Ciara blushed in embarrassment. "So you were watching us!" Arc exclaimed.
Ciara didn't answer, she just played with the sheets on her bed.
Arc poked her slightly, "C'mon, Talk."
"I'm not jealous okay!" Ciara tried to make her voice sound strong despite her emotions. She climbed off her bed and walked to the other side of the room.
"Ciara..." Arc began from where he still sat on the bed.
"Arc!" Ciara snapped before replying with a soft, "Sorry."
There was a moment of silence before Ciara broke down. "Alright okay. I'm jealous! I like you, more than a friend. But I'll always be just a friend to you."
Ciara stared in shock as the words tumbled from her mouth. She clasped her hand over her mouth.
Arc blinked confusingly before looking up at her, "You like me?"
"I do okay. You have Chloe so just forget about this."
"I didn't know..." Ciara could tell Arc felt sympathy for her as he spoke those words.
"Look, just go okay. Forget about this conversation." Ciara told him. "Please," she begged him.
Arc contemplated before nodding. Ciara sighed in relief as Arc got up from he bed and walked to the balcony. Before he jumped off he said, "It's not going to be easy to forget about this."
"I know. Just don't tell anyone," Ciara's eyes begged him.
Arc nodded once more before leaping off the balcony and yelling, "Wazow!"
