Chapter 51

(In Christian's office at the penthouse, Sawyer and Taylor have an update for their boss)

Taylor: (sighs) "You're not going to like it, Mr. Grey."

Christian: (squints his eyes) "What does it have to do with?"

Sawyer: "Elena and her secret visit."

(Christian looks at his men in confusion before Taylor clarifies)

Taylor: "We found out that Elena's been making trips to the correctional facility." (raises his eyebrows) "Guess who's there?"

Christian: (rolls his eyes) "Jack Hyde."

Taylor: (nods) "Yes."

Christian: "I wonder what's with the secret visits? Sawyer, you stay with Elliot and the women. Taylor, we're going to see Elena. I want to know what her agenda is."

***Elena's Condo***

(Elena answers the door to see her ex and his bodyguard)

Elena: (puzzled) "Christian? What do I owe this visit?"

Christian: (nods) "Elena. It's time we had a little chat."

(Before Elena can respond, Taylor and Christian walk past her and go inside. She rolls her eyes and sarcastically says to come in. After shutting the door behind her, they get settled in the living room)

Elena: "So, you burst in here like you own the place. What do you want?"

(Christian folds his arms and speaks with a serious expression)

Christian: "I want to know what the hell is going on. What kind of game are you playing, Elena?"

(Elena points at Christian in annoyance as she speaks)

Elena: "Who the hell do you think you are, Grey? I'm finally moving on from you and you have a problem with how I do it. It's none of your goddamned business."

Christian: "Have you been talking to Jack Hyde?"

Elena: (confused) "Who's that? I've never met him, so how would I know him?" (angrily) "Now, leave, Grey. I won't ask you again."

Christian: (shakes his head) "Don't do anything stupid, Elena. You don't know what he's capable of."

(After Christian and Taylor leave Elena's place, she narrows her eyes and speaks in a warning tone)

Elena: "If I can't have you, Christian, no one can. Not even that little slut, Ana."

(Taylor and Christian go back to his condo. He sees his girl and asks to talk to her on the terrace in private. She giggled as she wondered what was going on)

Ana: "Alright, Grey, what's the secret?"

Christian: (shrugs) "Why would there be a secret?"

Ana: "Because the way you're acting is a dead giveaway. What's going on?"

Christian: (tilts his head) "I want to talk about our future." (small smile) "Is that okay?"

Ana: (grins) "Sure is."

Christian: "I've been wondering something for a little while now. Are you ready to take the next step with me?"

(Ana smiles happily as she rests her hands on his cheeks and kisses him before speaking)

Ana: "I love you. I can't imagine life without you." (winks) "I can't wait to be with you forever, Grey."

Christian: (nods) "Trust me, baby, the feeling is mutual."

(They share a kiss before they leave the terrace and Christian goes to Kate, who's with Elliot)

Christian: "Hi, Kate. Can we talk for a minute, please?"

Kate: (nods) "Sure."

(Kate excuses herself from Elliot before Christian leads her to the terrace)

Kate: "Is everything okay, Grey?"

Christian: (nods) "Yes. I would like your opinion on something."

Kate: (nods) "Go on."

Christian: "I love Anastasia more than my own life. I never thought it was possible to love someone again after getting burned from Elena."

Kate: (raises her eyebrows) "You mean Elena the bitch?"

Christian: "Yeah. Anyway, I want to make my relationship with Ana permanent. How would you feel about that?"

Kate: (happily smiles) "That would not only make me happy but Ana happy, too. I know you make

Anastasia happy, Christian. For what it's worth, I'm all for it. I know you love her and I can't wait until you propose to her."

Christian: (nods & smiles) "I appreciate that."

(They share a hug before leaving the terrace. Christian smiles in happiness as he can't wait to propose to his girl. It will be a day or night they'll never forget)
