Yuki was sitting on the bench with the finals coming she had to tons of homework to do before school was over. She sighed knowing what she was doing was creepy but she was attempting to get into the same collage as Itachi. She knew she would have to wait a year till she was allowed into college being a year a younger than her crush.
She sighed reading the medical book and mentally taking notes on the inside of the human body. She flipped pages studying inner working of the body before looking up when a shadow blocked her sunlight. Looking up she stared back at the dark onyx eyes.
"Uchiha Itachi," her cheeks bright red, her chest and her heart pounding in her chest. She more than excited to see him standing in front of her with the soft smile on his face. It was rare he ever smiled only she was one of the few people allowed ot see it, "I am guessing you have some good news for me?" she giggled.
Itachi sat next to her the soft smile never fading, he handed her a letter, "I just received it in the mail," he looked away from her while Yuki. She opened the letter interested before squealing in excitement.
"Oh my," she jumped onto him hugging him tighter, "oh Itachi this is great," she didn't really pay attention to how breast were pressing against his chest. He blinked surprised for a second feeling Yuki's body close to his. His mind was registering how developed his young friend was getting. He wrapped her in a hug, "I can't believe you got accepted," she pushed away a bit, Itachi still holding her.
"You are the first person to know," he stated, the soft smile on his face. He moved a finger and brushed the bangs covering her eyes and tucked it behind her ear. She blinked her ash colored eyes staring back into his dark colored eyes, her cheeks dusted a light shade of pink before looking away.
"I am so happy for you," she breathed her breath coming out thin. She couldn't believe she was getting lucky to be held by Itachi. She was more trying to ignore how heart was pounding out of her chest and prayed to god that he didn't feel it through the fabric of their cloths, "you father would be pleased," she smiled trying to hid her blush.
Itachi let her go slowly before sitting on the bench near her books, "You are still studying to a nurse," he said. Yuki's cheeks were still red she nodded and sat next to him, "you know the college I am going to has great nursing school," he flipped though the books again and placed it down.
Yuki smiled and nodded, "so I heard," she mumbled, "I knew you would be able to make it in," she said smiling, "I am so proud of you,"
Itachi stared at her, "You sound like my mother," he rolled his eyes. He was still thinking about Yuki's figures underneath all the baggy clothes. When got a good look at her face she starting to look cuter then he last remembered. He shook his head she was his best friend he shouldn't see her that way.
Yuki giggled, "I spoke to your mother, she mentioned your family is moving?" she was a bit worried, "your father apparently is getting tired of living the suburban life and after you graduate he is moving back to the manor,"
Itachi shrugged, "I guess he misses the large manor," they spoke for a few minutes, both comfortable around one another only a peeing a car stopped their conversation. Yuki frowned watching as the red convertible of Nana came rolling up.
"Hey Itachi," Yuki watched she was shocked how calm she was looking though Yuki swore the woman gave her the death glare. She glanced at Itachi whose face was back to the emotionless mask he was famouse for, "Get in I need to go shopping for a prom dress,"
Itachi got up, "I will see you Yuki," he got in car. His girlfriend on the other hand pulled him into a deep kiss. She glared more at Yuki while kissing Itachi's neck. It was warning that things were going to get worse for her for the last week of school.
"See you," Nana said driving off she knew she won and she was going to make Yuki's life a living hell for the last week of her school.
"Itachi isn't going to stay with you," Yuki mumbled removing her glasses and wiping away tears, "he isn't interested in you," but she knew how silly she was being. Itachi wasn't interested in her, he wanted the busty cheerleader with soft curves and a cute smile.
She closed her eyes the bus came a few minutes after and Yuki didn't move from her spot. She was upset she was thinking about Itachi. She ignored the rain as it started pouring down on her soaking her and her books. She didn't really pay attention her heart was feeling heavy.
"I guess the whore came and took Itachi away," Shadow said. She holding an umbrella above Yuki's head keeping the girls dry. She ignored the Yuki's tears strained face and sat next to her friend. There was silence around them before Yuki nodded.
"Who am I kidding I wouldn't have a chance with him," she mumbled she rubbed her eyes trying to hide the pain she was feeling, "A week from now I won't see him," the rain masked her tears before she looked up, "I love him," she said ignoring the breaking of her heart.
Shadow didn't say anything and hugged her dropping the umbrella. She knew the pain her friend was in but she couldn't do anything what would help. Only silence around them, the soft beating of the rain and Yuki's quiet sob was the only sound that could be heard.
