A/N: Thank you for the feedback on the last chapter everyone. I know everyone wants regular updates and if I wasn't working I'd gladly do it. Title: FSOG: From Heartbreak to Happiness?

Chapter 54

(This was it. This was the night. Jack was on a high, to say the least, as he had been waiting for this night to come for a long ass time. The way the plan was, he was going to kidnap Anastasia, tell her everything the bitch has done to him, and then kill the bitch with pleasure with Christian watching with horror. That was Jack's dream. Jack wanted to watch her squirm. Jack wanted to see the light leave her eyes and terror across her face when she realized they were the people who ended Ana. Jack and Elena had all of the power. Everything Ana and Christian tried to accomplish didn't matter; because they would be the winners. What Elena wanted to do to Anastasia, that was up to his partner-in-crime. Jack had to admit he wouldn't mind it if Anastasia kicked the bucket as well. He didn't care, though)

(Jack was at Elena's getting ready to put on his disguise. He was wearing a black winter hat that covered his blond hair, black sun glasses, black sweatshirt, dark pants, and black shoes)

(Elena comes walking in the living room as Jack is finishing with his disguise. She raised her eyebrows as she spoke)

Elena: "That's a lot of black."

(Jack glares at his partner a bit before he spoke)

Jack: "That's the whole point of the disguise. Can't have anyone recognizing me."

Elena: "True. But all that black might be a dead giveaway that something isn't right. Just don't give yourself up."

Jack: (scoffs) "Do you really think I'm that much of an idiot?"

Elena: "I didn't say that. I'm just warning you to watch what you wear. In the end, it's your choice."

Jack: "Exactly. So, stay out of it. You do your part and I'll do mine."

(Elena rolls her eyes and walks away. He was right on one thing. She had her own part of the plan she had to complete. She had to hide her smirk even though she was alone because Jack was going to take care of Anastasia. She wished that she could be there in person when he first kidnaps Ana. She'd settle for the fact that Jack would let her know when the plan was finalized. She decided to get ready for tonight, as well)

(Once up in her room, she went into her closet. She undressed herself then put on black sweats, a gray shirt, a plain gray sweater, her blonde hair up in a ponytail, and a black baseball cap. She put her ponytail through the hole of the cap. She found her black sunglasses on top of her jewelry box and put them on. She looked at herself in the mirror)

Elena: "I guess we'll see if Grey notices me. With my luck he will."

(Elena rests her hands on her hips and one foot in front of the other)

Elena: "Tonight is the final showdown, Grey. You're either with me...or you're out. We'll see what you choose." (narrows her eyes) "You had better choose wisely."

(She grabs her black bag of necessities and leaves the condo. As she was leaving, she noticed that Jack was gone from the living room. She didn't hear the door shut, so she didn't know when he left)

(Jack was on his way to Christian's penthouse. He knew Ana was there. He also knew that because of the special surprise he paid the delivery man to bring Ana that Christian would have doubled security. He needed to figure out how to get to the bitch)

(Jack decided to break in through the front door to the garage. Once that was complete, he went inside. Once Ana and her two bodyguards were heard coming out, Jack hid. Ana got into the back seat while the other two got in the front. After the vehicle took off Jack came out in plain sight and shot at the windshield until the car crashed. The guards got out with guns in hand but before they had a chance to investigate, Jack shot the guard that was on the driver's side in the chest so he would stay down. Ros, who was on the passenger side, attempted to yell 'Freeze!' to the intruder and had her gun raised and ready to shoot. However, Jack was fully prepared. He shot Ros, who was running a bit towards him, in the leg and then the shoulder, so she would limp and slow down. She attempted to raise her gun and warn him to lower his)

Ros: "I don't know who you are. But I would advise you to stop what you're doing before you make a deadly mistake...one that you can't take back."

Jack: (laughs) "You really don't know who I am? Everyone in this damn city knows who I am. But I guess with this disguise, you don't. Hmm. I did well. Ros, you must be Ana's bodyguard. Ana's other guard didn't do so well. Now, I'm going to give you two choices. You can either try defeating me all on your own. I'll warn you, though, that it won't work. As you can see, I came fully prepared. I don't want to kill you, but I will. I came for Anastasia. You can either let me take her willingly or I'll kill you then take her. It's your choice. What will it be?"

(Ros knew that she should try fighting him off. He was right, though. She didn't have many bullets left in her gun and he'd kill her. After the man took Ana, Ros could call Christian and Taylor and they could immediately track down Ana. Ros also needed to get help for her partner. She'd never forgive herself if something happened to him if she didn't get help. Ros just hoped to God she made the right choice in the end)

Ros: "You win. You're right. I'd lose against you. For the record, though, Mr. Grey will find you and kill you and get Ana back."

Jack: (chuckles) "Don't be so sure of that. Now, throw your gun ahead of you as far as you can so you won't be tempted to use it once I grab Ana."

(Ros does what she's told. Jack then tells her to lay down with her hands over her head. During this time Ana had been trying to get Ros' attention to find out what the hell was going on. Ana attempted to call Christian, but for some reason, she had no cell service in the garage. Jack walks to the driver side to see the other guard unconscious before opening the back door. Ana gasps and attempts to back away and open the other door. Jack shows her his gun)

Jack: "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Ana."

(Ana quickly looks at the man in disguise. She recognized the voice but couldn't place the man due to the way he was dressed)

Jack: (tilts his head) "Recognize my voice, Ana?" (chuckles) "You should. You've seen me before. Granted it's been awhile."

Ana: "W-Who are you?"

Jack: (shrugs) "You'll find out soon enough. Let's go. I've got a car outside."

Ana: "Where we going?"

Jack: "So many questions. Soon, Ana, soon."

(When it was clear that Ana was scared to move, Jack grabbed her by the arm. Ana yelped in pain. Jack shoved Ana in the passenger side and warned her that if she moved or tried anything, he'd have no problem killing her. He continued to hold his gun on her while he drove)

(After about an hour of driving, Jack came to his destination. Ana didn't recognize it. Jack grabbed Ana and dragged her as she walked inside. All she could tell is that it was a warehouse of some sorts. When Jack was done dragging her around, he put her on a chair where he tied her up and then tied her to the chair)

Ana: (shakes her head) "I still don't know who you are. It'd be nice to know. Why am I being treated this way? What have I ever done to you to make you do this? If I knew, I could fix it."

(As Jack walks around Ana, he chuckles)

Jack: "You can't fix it, Anastasia. What have you done to me? Think about it. Think long and hard. What have you done in your whole life that you regret?"

Ana: "I can think of one thing, but it doesn't involve you. It involves one of my friend's family members. That's it."

(Jack stops moving and looks at her clearly not amused. He scoffs and shakes his head)

Jack: "That's it? That's all you can think of? In your whole pathetic excuse of a life, you can think of just ONE thing? Come on, Ana! Think! And you've heard me talking enough now! Don't you know who I am by now?!"

(Ana shakes her head in puzzlement as the voice sounded so fucking familiar but she couldn't place it. It was driving her nuts! She sighs loudly as she spoke)

Ana: "Don't you get it?! You sound familiar but with your disguise, it's not helping! Can't you give me a hint?"

Jack: (shrugs) "Okay." (narrows his eyes) "I thought your slut of a friend had the hots for me, but it turns out she was just a player. I thought she wanted sex, but instead? She fucking went behind my back and complained to my commanding officer that I put the moves on her. In the end, she filed a complaint and my reputation was fucked up. There, you bitch. It didn't help that you encouraged her to do it."

(Ana looked at the man in horror as she finally realized who it was in front of her. If her hands weren't tied, she would've covered her mouth in shock)

Ana: (whispers) "Jack. Jack Hyde."

Jack: (nods) "Now you finally know it's me. Took you long enough, though."

Ana: "Kate is the one that filed the complaint, Jack. Then again, you were flirting with her. Yes, she was flirty back then. But, you took things too far with the way you acted towards her."

Jack: "If she had a problem with me, she should have come to ME, not my boss!"

Ana: "She DID try coming to you, Jack! She asked you to leave her alone and she apologized to you for being too flirty but you still came after her!"

Jack: (rolls his eyes) "Your whore of a friend will do anything to not have the blame on her."

Ana: (shrugs) "When it's her fault, she will admit the truth. But, it's not her fault and you know that, Hyde. Just fucking admit it."

(Jack gets irritated and rushes to Ana, pointing the gun at her forehead)

Jack: (shouting) "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Ana: (casually) "Go ahead. Shoot me. Then you lost your leverage. There's always Kate, yes, but by now, everyone knows about you and what you look like. I'm done being scared of you."

Jack: (smirks) "Lover boy can't save you this time, Ana. He's got problems of his own."

Ana: (worriedly) "What'd you do to him?"

Jack: (laughs) "It's not about what I'VE done to him, Steele. It's about what my trusted sidekick may have done to him."

Ana: "Who is he or she?"

Jack: "You should be seeing her anytime as she'll be bringing the object of her affection with her."

(Ana knew from the way Jack was talking that he was referring to Elena. Damn it! Ana should have been more aware that Elena didn't give up so quickly when it came to Christian! Ana did know, but she was in her own little world. Well, it was her own damn fault now. For all Ana knew, Elena got Jack released from jail. Obviously, there was no proof. Who else could it be, though? They had to have been working together)

(Ana couldn't stand Elena. Ana knew Elena carried a torch for Christian, but come on! Christian didn't want her! Deal with it already! When Elena brought Christian in, Ana vowed to give the 'elderly' woman a piece of her mind)

(All of a sudden, Ana heard a bunch of commotion before seeing a woman disguised with a ponytail put Christian on the chair next to Ana. Ana gasped in helplessness as Christian's face was bruised and bloody. Ana tried to look more at his face, but couldn't see the other side. She looks at Elena bitterly)

Ana: (yells) "YOU FUCKING BITCH!"

Elena: "Hello, princess."

Ana: (shouts) "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO HIM, ELENA?!"

(Elena briefly raises her eyebrows while speaking casually)

Elena: "So, you know it's me. I guess that doesn't surprise me."

Ana: (huffs) "Oh, give me a fucking break, lady. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know who you are."

(Elena looks between Ana and Jack then back at Ana before speaking in an unamused tone)

Elena: "Can I kill her yet? She's really getting on my damn nerves."

Jack: (shakes his head) "Not yet. I'm sure there's a lot of things you want to say to her, things she wants to say to you, and things I'd LOVE to do to her."

(Ana's eyes widen as Elena looks at him weirdly)

Elena: "You're not going to rape her, are you, Hyde? I'm all for killing her, but I don't want to see a rape."

Jack: (rolls his eyes) "No, I am not going to rape her, Robinson. I can have any whore I want on the side without anyone knowing. But I've always wanted to hit her a few times. Yes, if she pisses me off too much, I have no problem killing her."

Christian: (weakly) "You do that, asshole, and if we both live through this, I'll kill you myself with pleasure."

(Ana quickly faces her beau in concern)

Ana: "I thought you were unconscious as you weren't talking. What happened?"

Christian: "Two men I didn't recognize jumped me from behind when I was on my phone on the sidewalk towards my car. Taylor was in front of me and yes, he did have a gun, but it was pretty much him against the two of them so I told him to call my private detective in code that he'd understand as soon as I went with the men. I know he along with Murray will find us."

Elena: "Keep dreaming, Grey. No one knows where we're at. Well, except for Hyde and I." (smirks)

Jack: (snarky tone) "And no one will. So, get over it."

Christian: (clears his throat) "You two seem very sure of yourselves. You're forgetting who you're dealing with. I have people on the outside who are trained to deal with this kind of stuff."

Jack: "You sure about that, Grey? I pretty much took care of your two bodyguards in the garage earlier before I grabbed your girl."

(Christian shakes his head in confidence)

Christian: "Like I said before, Hyde. They're trained to deal with things like this. They're not idiots." (smirks) "Not like you are."

(Jack gives Christian a dirty look, causing Christian to laugh. Jack rushes to his enemy and punches him in the face)

Jack: (shouts) "Damn you, Grey!"

Christian: "You can hit me as many times as you wish. It won't change the facts."

Ana: "Face it, Hyde. You are on borrowed time."

(Hyde takes the opportunity to slap Ana across the face. Christian calls Hyde a prick before making sure his girl is okay)

Ana: (nods) "Don't worry, baby."

(Elena and Jack face each other and agree it's showtime. They nod in agreement. Elena faces Anastasia and at long last, the enemies will get everything out on the table)

Elena: (bitterly) "You just couldn't leave him alone, could you, bitch? You just HAD to have him."

Ana: "I love Christian and he loves me. We won't apologize for that, Robinson." (shakes her head) "No matter how much you hate me."

Elena: (nods) "You are right on one thing. I do hate you. You just don't know when to leave well enough alone."

Ana: "I tried to back off early on, but he wouldn't let me. He knew something was going on. I tried to fight the attraction, as did he. It didn't work. We realized we weren't doing anyone any good doing that."

Elena: (snarks) "Oh, bite me, Steele. You're so full of shit it's pathetic. You could have had any man you wanted. But you had to have HIM?"

Ana: "You of all people should know you can't control who you fall in love with, Robinson. I still think that you're not really in love with him. It's just lust or an obsession."

(Elena gets fed up with Ana's holier than thou attitude and walks to her and punches her in the eye)

Elena: "Watch what you say, you little slut."

Ana: (shakes her head) "I won't apologize for loving Christian. You can hit me or threaten me all you want. It won't change how I feel."

Elena: (shrugs) "You tell me you can't change how you feel towards him? Well, I can't change how I feel towards him, either. I've loved him for years."

Ana: "There's a difference between us, though."

Elena: (briefly raises her eyebrows) "Oh, yeah? What's that?"

Ana: "Christian doesn't love you anymore. He loves me now. He loves me for life."

(Elena looks like she's foaming at the mouth at Ana's statement. Christian, who's clearly been listening this whole time, adds his two cents)

Christian: "Ana's right, you know? I don't love you anymore. I love Ana now. I love Ana for life. I truly feel that you don't love me anymore, anyway. All you feel for me now is lust. Or you just want to win. Well, I'm sorry to tell you, Elena. You won't win. You have lost the war."

(Elena tilts her head as she points her gun at Christian and stares at him)

Elena: "No, I didn't, Grey. Don't you see? It's not lust. I love you. I've always loved you. You love me, too. I know you do. Even though you don't see it. You love me more than her. I'll make you see. I'll help you see. You just need to give me a chance." (shrugs) "But if you can't or won't, then..."

(Elena cocks her gun, making Christian sigh deeply and briefly close his eyes as he feared this was the end. Ana whimpered for her true love)

Ana: (whispers) "Christian...?"

(Christian turns to Ana and speaks)

Christian: "I love you, no matter what happens. Remember that."

Ana: "I love you, too." (to Elena) "Even in death, you can't separate us."

Elena: (shakes her head) "If I can't have you, Christian, no one can."

(Before Elena has a chance to use her gun on Christian with him staring at her, the front doors burst open and there's shouting)

Taylor: "Get the hell away from him, Elena!"

(Elena jumps up in panic from all the commotion and faces Taylor. Ros comes in followed by Sawyer, Murray, and the Seattle Police Department. Jack runs off into the corner and yells that there's no way in hell he's going back to the correctional facility or anywhere else. He takes matters into his own hands and points the gun to his head. Before anyone can do anything, Jack fires the gun and ends his life. His lifeless body falls to the ground)

(The Seattle Police Department take a deranged Elena into custody. Taylor goes to Christian, who looks weak from the bruises to his face as well as what he's been through the last twenty-four hours)

Taylor: "How are you doing, Mr. Grey? No offense, but you look like shit."

Christian: (chuckles) "I feel like shit. How'd you all find me? I knew it was a matter of time, but I'm curious."

Taylor: (small smile) "Remember that tracking device Murray had you put in one of your pockets?" (nods) "Tracking devices definitely comes in handy."

Christian: (nods) "They do indeed."

Taylor: "Come on, sir. Let's get both you and Miss Steele to the hospital to get checked out."

Christian: "Thanks, Taylor."

Ana: "Thank you, Taylor."

Taylor: (nods) "Anytime."
