"So how did you get that mark on your neck," Yuki questioned a week later they were sitting in a café drinking smoothie. It was the morning of prom and students were doing nothing about chatting about it. "Did a spider bite you?" she questioned.

Shadow scratched the area of her neck which was still red from the hickey Yamato gave her this morning, "Let's go with spider bite for your virgin mind," she said laughing glad her friend was going to be alright.

"You have a b-b-boyfriend," she spit out the words hardly believing what she heard. "I don't believe it," she was happy for her friend ecstatic but confused. Did that mean her friend wasn't…her cheeks turned bright red. "Oh lord," she couldn't keep the blood rushing from her face, "Who?" she questioned.

Shadow blushed scratching the back of her neck she couldn't really tell Yuki anything. "We are still trying to figure things out," she finally said, "I promise you Yuki after graduation I will tell you everything," Her heart was beating hard in her chest, a few more days they would be out of hot water.

Yuki frowned and crossed her arms over her chest, "you aren't in any trouble are you?" she questioned. It was a gloomy morning the sun didn't feel like showing itself. She seemed dazed her mind lost somewhere it shouldn't be.

"No," Shadow said shaking her head. She felt her heart beating fast in her chest. If Yuki figured it out, there was no telling how much trouble they would be in. Yamato would be fired and sent to jail, Shadow expelled and who knows what else.

Yuki frowned before something clicked, "All the studying all the studying, late night tutoring, oh my Shadow," she said standing up, "do you know how much trouble you would cause," she was panicking getting up.

"Shh Yuki please," Shadow said getting up and trying to calm her friend, "It is a secret, I love him," that seemed to calm Yuki down before she paused and sighed, "You have a week before graduation ," she sat back down again, "are you allowed to date after you graduate?"

"Honestly," Shadow said she relaxed a bit, it seemed like Yuki was going to keep her mouth shut. She hugged herself, "I love him Yuki when we are alone I feel like there is a connection and bound that only we can share. The jokes he tells the laughs we share," she sighed and looked down.

"I understand," Yuki said staring out the door as Itachi walked in through the door with his girlfriend. She sunk deeper into her seat, she didn't want him to see her, "your heart flutters at the sight of him, you try your best us to see that smile or hear that laugh. Are you going to prom?" she said.

"I am thinking about it," Shadow said, "but what would I do there? Yamato and I can't dance together," she sighed and watched Itachi who seemed to be arguing with his girlfriend. She looked at Yuki who was still hiding from Itachi's view she had finished her smoothie and was staring outside, "you aren't going are you?"

Yuki glanced at her friend and shook her head, the corner of her eyes glancing as Itachi left his seat to go play the latest coin game. He was pissed off she sighed when he walked past her and didn't notice her. His face twisted in anger and annoyance.

True to the threatening glare Nana gave her, Yuki barely got a chance to see Itachi in his last week of school. They had their last summer before school started but Itachi had to get ready for college, and his family was moving.

If she didn't confess her love soon it would end in one or two ways, Itachi would laugh at her face or he would confess his love to her too. She had to giggle a bit that was impossible he wasn't interested in a girl like her. He was interested in the hyper cheerleader, like Nana.

She watched her eyes widen watching Nana making out with another guy. "What is she doing with him," she questioned, glancing at Itachi. He had noticed and was looking more furious then before he walked past her table and punched the boy strait in the mouth.

"Holy shit Itachi ," Shadow said out loud cheering him on. Itachi finally took notice of Yuki and Shadow, something flashed in his eyes before he glared at the ma. He turned glaring back at his girlfriend before arguing with her. The argument was getting worse and soon everyone was watching what was happening, "She isn't worth it,"

Nana glared at Shadow before Itachi stormed off, he made one last eye contact with Yuki before leaving the café. Shadow on the other hand was arguing with soon be ex. Or maybe they broke up. She wanted to follow Itachi see if he was alright but already Nana was making a scene.

"Come on," Shadow growled dragging Yuki out of her booth. "Let's go,"

Yuki followed shocked she watched Nana's face she was looking furious but was sitting in the other boys arm.

"Why leave Itachi?" she questioned, "She hurt him," so much questions ran through her minds.

"Let's shop for a prom dress," Shadow said after a while.

"Oh are you going to Prom?" Yuki questioned.
