Hey guys, I have to start this with saying how happy I am that people are still following me. I was very surprised, expecting to get no replies from my update. I'm glad that you guys want me to keep on writing and that everyone is doing well.

So here's the first chapter of the new revised story. I hope you guys will give it a chance since I have some changes in mind, but it should be better.

Now as for the update of this story, as you know I'm still working in the lab helping with the testing of Covid-19, as I explained in my update info, so I won't be able to keep a schedule to post new chapters. I will do my best, but I can't promise the updates happening every three days or so. But I still hope you will enjoy it. If you guys have any questions let me know! So enjoy!

And stay safe and healthy!

A little girl stumbled through the forest, her hand clinging to her stomach. Red warm liquid dripped down her fingertips, splashing onto the ground, leaving behind a trail of blood. Her naked feet stumbled over roots and rocks, causing several more scrapes on her already battered and injured feet.

Green eyes kept on looking behind her, searching for any danger that would grab her and pull her back into the dark abyss she feared. Her feet got caught on a set of roots that stuck out of the ground, causing the girl to fall to the ground and cry out in pain.

Her hands immediately went to her stomach, her body immediately curling into a ball, pain assaulting her body like hot needles piercing her skin. Letting a few seconds pass, the girl uncurled and glanced down at herself. A long gash crossed her stomach, blood slowly seeping out. It wasn't too deep to be lethal, but it still caused her pain and would be dangerous if untreated for too long.

The girl took a part of her shirt and ripped it apart, using the cloth and tying it around the gash as tightly as she could. It would stop the blood from seeping out for now, but she would need to get it treated as soon as possible. Yet her right arm burned like fire as she treated her injury. Observing it, she noticed that it was looking a bit weird, but she couldn't say as to why.

Getting back on her unsteady feet, the girl kept on moving through the forest. She knew she had to move, get far away from this place as possible. Her ears picked up sound ahead of her, the sound of people perhaps? She couldn't really identify it, but she would risk it. Anything was better than what laid behind her.

Running as far as her small legs could take her, she met the cobblestones of a small town. There weren't many people outside, probably due to the fact that it was dark, but that didn't stop her. Heading through the town with her hand still clinging to her injury. The cloth was already stained a crimson color, but there was nothing else she could do about it now.

A whistle tore through the cold night air causing the girl to quickly turn. In the distance she saw a train, the smoke steadily rising from the chimney. Her eyes went wide as she dashed for it. Arriving at the train station, her head moved around the area. Noticing that nobody was standing watch, the girl moved up to the train cart that was still opened slightly and climbed inside. Several boxes were stacked against the wall giving the girl enough cover as she laid down on the floor.

It didn't take long for her to feel the train move. For a single moment she felt a tiny rise of hope inside her. Maybe she could escape… leave the hell she had been living in behind.

Perhaps… she could be free?

With that thought running through her mind, her eyes closed as her body fell into a deep slumber, too exhausted from the events that had transpired.

Her eyes snapped open as the whistle of the train tore through the air again, waking her from her sleep. Moving her body, she hissed out. Her stomach was on fire. Glancing down at her injury again she saw the cloth was completely soaked now in her blood. Some of it even pooled around her as she slept. It wasn't much but it was enough to make her feel dizzy and sick.

The train lurched to a stop. Her ears caught footsteps coming straight towards her. The side of the cart opened and a man stood there, his eyes wide in surprise to seeing the girl. "Hey! What are you doing in here!?"

Not wasting any time, the girl got up and ran right under him. The man was too shocked to react in time. Instead he glanced inside the cart and saw the blood stains. He paled slightly before turning his head to where the girl had ran off to. "W-Wait!" But she was already gone. He rubbed his forehead while letting out a soft groan. "How am I going to explain this to the boss?"

The girl stumbled through the streets to get as far away as possible from the man. How stupid could she be? Of course someone was going to find her in there! She was just lucky to have been awake. Who knows what would have happened if she had still been asleep when the man had found her.

Clinging to her stomach, she stumbled against a wall. For a moment she stayed to gain her breath, but she was feeling completely terrible. Her body felt like it was on fire, her arm and stomach being the worst of it. Not to mention feeling dizzy and nauseous. The blood loss might have been more than she thought. She had to find help… but where?

Her head glanced around. It was day, a few people were outside and walking around, some holding bags of food. In the distance she saw a building with a flag waving above it and a strange symbol stood above its doors.

Eyes wide, she stumbled towards it. Is this… a guild? She wasn't sure if she was right, but this was the closest to what she was told. It had to be… right?

"You don't know what a guild is? Well… it's a place where people come together to help others! They're the best people in the world! No matter what your issue is, they'll help as best they can."

Her dirty hands rested against the door. They'll help me… right? Closing her eyes she pushed it open.

A loud shout was heard as a young boy with pink hair, flew across the room. He landed on a table where several older men were sitting. Throwing his white scarf over his shoulder, his eyes burned with fire. "I'm going to be the strongest in this guild! Just you wait! I'll fight everyone here!"

"Calm down kid." One of the men chuckled as he took a swing from his beer. "You still have a long way to go."

A groan from the side, caused the young boy to turn around. His eyes landed immediately on another young boy with short black hair. He wore a white jacket with a simple blue shirt underneath it. "Shut up Natsu! And if anyone is going to be the strongest here it's me."

"What did you say!?" Natsu shouted throwing his fists in the air. "You can't even beat me in a fight!"

"Now you're just talking bull!" The boy shouted as he quickly stood up from his table. Yet as he did, all of his clothing besides his boxers were suddenly gone.

A girl with brown hair, tied into a pony tail, wearing an orange dress sighed. "Gray, your clothes…"

Gray glanced down at his body and let out a surprised yell. "How did this happen!?" he quickly gathered up his clothes from the ground as Natsu fell on the table, laughing at him.

A white haired girl snorted as she leaned against the same table. "His stripping problems is going to cost him dearly one day."

"Oh just leave him be Mira."

"I'm just saying the truth Cana."

After Gray gathered his clothes, the boy jumped on the table and tackled the pink haired boy, both crashing to the ground. The two boys started fighting, sending punches and kicks at each other, both fighting for the upper hand. Natsu was able to push Gray's head down to the ground, raising his hand, aiming a fist to his face.

The door of the guild hall pushed open, the old rusty hinges creaking. Everyone stopped what they were doing as they turned towards the entrance. Even Natsu had stopped his attack and Gray was able to push him off. Master Makarov, who had been sitting on the bar with a beer in his hand raised an eyebrow as he saw a figure walking into the guild.

A young girl, with shoulder length hair came stumbling into the guild. Her left hand was clutching at her stomach where the last remains of her shirt draped down her chest. Her skirt, torn and dirty barley passed her knees as they hung below her hips. Tied around her stomach was a piece of cloth, completely stained in crimson red.

The girl glanced up, her green eyes hollow and empty. "H-Help…" Her legs finally gave out and her body crashed to the ground.

Natsu was the first to move, he ran up to the girl and laid a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked, shaking her, hoping he could get a reaction, but it seemed that the girl was completely unconscious. His eyes landed on her stomach and the crimson soaked cloth. His eyes went wide when he caught the stench of blood. "S-She's injured! She needs help!" He shouted, his hands shaking, as he had no idea what he should do.

Luckily Makarov stood up and claimed control. "Get her to the infirmary! Macao! Run for Porlyusica, now!" Macao stood from his table and ran outside the guild, fetching for the healer. Meanwhile, Natsu with the help of other guild members carried the girl into the infirmary.

The young pink haired Natsu looked extremely worried as they set the young girl down in a bed. He had caught her scent and it seemed familiar somehow, but he couldn't explain why.

All he knew was that he had to make sure she was going to be alright.

A bright light blinded her as the girl slowly regained consciousness. Her entire body felt stiff to the core, but it seemed that her stomach wasn't on fire anymore. She tried adjusting her eyes to the light so she could see where she was.

She saw a wooden roof above her and not the cold stone she was used to. Her back was lying on something soft and not the cold stone ground. Her hands were unchained, instead bandages ran up her arms with her right being set in a cast. She felt her stomach was heavily wrapped with bandages, her legs and feet just being covered.

Turning her head, she examined the room she was in. It was a small area with several beds lined up. In the back there was a window, letting the sun shine in, giving the room a soft and warm glow to it. She's never felt something like this before. She was always used to the cold and dark, this warmth was foreign to her and she didn't know if she liked it or not…

There was something else she noticed. Someone else was in the room. It was a young boy, maybe her age, with pink hair, who sat in a chair in the corner of the room. He was lying very uncomfortably on the wooden seat as he slept soundly. Why was he even here?

Trying to move into a more comfortable position, the girl let out a hiss of pain. Unfortunately this caused the boy to wake up, even though he had been in a deep sound sleep. He immediately jumped up and ran over to her bed. "You're awake!" He stated, his voice filled with more relief than anything else. "We were really worried about you, you had some serious injuries."

The girl stayed quiet, not entirely sure how she should react. He scared her slightly, worried that he might hurt her like everyone else did. Luckily for her she didn't need to answer him as the door on the side of the room opened up.

An elderly woman came walking in. She also had pink hair, but it was tied up, being held by two yellow pins. She wore a red cloak that covered her entire body. Her face held a deep frown while her red eyes stared at the young girl.

The boy on the other hand grinned. "Look Porlyusica! She's awake!"

"I can see that boy." She simply stated as she walked up to her. The girl immediately shrunk back, but didn't move from the bed. The woman noticed this and stopped her advance, sensing the girl's fear. Instead she kept her distance while observing the girl. "How are you feeling? Any pain?"

Was she feeling any pain? No… her injury was better than it was before she got here and even if it still hurt a bit, it was far better than the pain she had to endure before. She simply shook her head, still too frightened to speak.

Porlyusica hummed slightly, she was going to get nowhere with this girl if she insisted to stay quiet. Yet she also knew that scaring her would just make things worse. The boy though had different ideas…

"What's your name?" The pink haired boy leaned against the railing of the bed, his smile still on his face. "My name is Natsu!"

The older woman sighed, how could he be so ignorant to this young girls fears? Did he not see how frightened she looked? Either he was too dense or didn't care. Either way it would get them nowhere to even help this young…

"K-Kera."

Natsu grinned up at her. "That's an awesome name!" Porlyusica was surprised the boy got even a word out of the girl, even if it was just her name. While she found the brats to be annoying, they held a very open and warm aura that would make anyone comfortable around them.

"Oh! Do you know any magic?"

The girl flinched and pulled the covers closer to her. Porlyusica shook her head. "That's enough boy. Why don't you go out and tell Makarov that the girl is awake."

"Fine…" Natsu muttered, obviously upset. He marched out of the room while closing the door behind him.

The moment he left, Porlyusica got to work. She tried to advance again, causing the young girl to pull the covers even closer. "I'm not going to hurt you, but I need to check your injury." Slowly, the girl lowered the covers, but she still looked frightened. As the older woman walked up to her, she was surprised to see that this time, the girl didn't move away. Sitting down on the bed, she slowly and carefully pulled up the white shirt that loosely draped over her.

Kera watched the woman with caution and curiosity. The older woman unwrapped the bandages and inspected the injury that was still there. The cut along her stomach seemed to have stopped bleeding but the skin around the wound was still red and warm. Porlyusica hummed. "It looks a lot better. There's no sign of an infection even though the skin is still warm. It will take time to heal, but it shouldn't be a problem anymore as long as you don't do anything reckless."

"Infection?" The words left her mouth before she could think about it. She was scared that the woman would get mad for speaking out of turn. Surprising her, the woman didn't do anything except re-bandage her injury. "Yes, your wound got infected, probably due to that dirty cloth you tied around it, but it did stop it from bleeding more." She adjusted the bandages before pulling her shirt back down. "That would also be the reason why you were unconscious for almost two weeks. Your body reacting to the infection with a fever to fight it off. But everything should be fine now." She then noted the girl's right arm that was in a cast. "Your arm unfortunately will require a bit more time to heal. It was broken so I had to set it in a cast. Just keep it rested and you should be fine."

The girl was unsure about this entire situation. This woman had helped her without asking anything in return, something she had never experienced before, let alone someone actually helping her…

"Thank you." She whispered quietly, but the older woman still heard her. She simply gave her a soft smile, a rare action for her. "It is alright. Now get some rest, Makarov will probably come soon to ask you some questions. And do not worry, he is a kind man. He won't hurt you either."

There was a knock on the door before it opened up. A small man with white hair on the side and a mustache on his upper lips entered the room. Porlyusica stood up. "I'll leave the two of you alone."

Kera watched the older woman exit the room, leaving her with the old man alone. Immediately she tightened her grip on the cover and pulled it up towards her. It was a stupid thing to do but it was the only thing that made her feel somewhat safe at the moment.

The old man smiled at her. "Why hello! I'm Makarov Dreyar, the master of this guild. Natsu told me your name was Kera, correct?"

The little girl nodded slightly. Makarov grabbed a chair and sat down next to her. "What a nice name. Tell me Kera, where are you from?"

She didn't move or say anything. Should she tell him where she was from? "Draconia…" She whispered pulling the cover as close to her as she could. Memories of what she escaped from plagued her mind.

Makarov raised an eyebrow at her. "That's quite a trip. No wonder you were exhausted when you arrived. Tell me child, do you have any place to go to? To call home?"

She shook her head. No, she didn't have a home or a place to go back to. She would rather have no home than go back to that dark place.

The man smiled at her. "Well then, do you want to join Fairy Tail?"

"W-What!?"
