"Layla-sama! Layla-sama! Stay with me! I can already see the head! Just keep on pushing, Layla-sama!"

All the lights had already vanished for the said woman as her eyelids became too heavy for her to keep her eyes open. All her senses were now greatly focused on the pain she was feeling in her stomach as she continued to push. Another wave of intense pain washed over the poor lady before a cry of a newborn child was heard from the quiet room, breaking the awful atmosphere surrounding the place. All the people present in the room even the husband, the king, was frozen as he waited for his child to finally come out to the world and end her or his mother's suffering. He couldn't just sit there and held his hurting wife's hand. Any longer than now, he might have been shouting towards all the workers helping his beloved give birth about how bad they're doing their job. It's simply unacceptable for the king.

He didn't wanna see her like that anymore and it scared him how she would look at him as if she was leaving him forever anytime soon. The purple flowers that his wife planted in her own that was said to ease the pain were not helping at all too.

"It's a healthy baby girl, Your Highness"

And all his frustration and fear disappeared the moment he heard the woman words. He slowly turned his gaze to his wife, a smile stretched over his face once he saw her smiling, with tears in her eyes. She was glad that she delivered their child safely into this world even with the risk due to her weak body.

"I am proud of you" He said, a fond smile crossing his visage again while staring at his beautiful wife, squeezing her hand.

"Jude..." Was Layla's respond before getting interrupted by one of the maids who walked up to them, holding the precious bundle of joy in her arms.

She carefully placed the little angel on Layla's trembling hands, tears cascading down her cheeks as she lightly rocked the baby to keep her relaxed and comfortable inside her hold. She leaned close, whispering to the child,

"Lucy... Your name is Lucy. You will be the light to guide this kingdom back to its glory someday"

And a grand celebration was held to celebrate the birth of the princess. The flower and light of the Heartfilia realm. Many from the other kingdoms were already invited to attend beforehand and was already on their way with gifts for the new parents and the newborn but they were welcomed by a horrifying scene.

The kingdom was lost. The once beautiful place filled with colors and life was now seemingly frozen in time. Anywhere you'd look, you'll only see darkness and people turned into stone. Even animals were not spared from whatever struck that place. Children's were even sealed while having the best smile on their face. They quickly headed towards the castle, only to find it under the same situation outside but the worst was, right there in the throne room was the king, Jude. Every witness could see the pain in his face as he held his injured wife. Both of them were sealed away too just like the others but one thing haunted the people who came for the aid of the Heartfilia Kingdom, the princess was nowhere to be found.

Years have passed since that dreadful day and as if the land was truly cursed, in just a span of seventeen years, the kingdom was erased from everything and from everyone's mind. Someone made it disappear. The records and evidence of that said place turned completely blank, making the people believe that the beautiful kingdom that once represented luck and light was just nothing but a myth created by others with wild imaginations, hoping to create such paradise in earth.

"Lucy? the flowers are all placed in the basket now. it's romance day so you better come out of there early to sell many blooms as you can!"

"On my way, mother Porlyusica!"
