Chapter Two: Alone At Last….Oh No!

-Earth, Unknown location-
The darkness of night slowly faded away as the early dawn of morning rose up in the horizon. However, as the light of the sun illuminated the planet...it revealed a horrific sight.
For the world was barren, covered in soot and ash, with the very mountains spewing great amounts of red hot lava, as the seas were tinged bronzed green. The remains of cities sat abandoned as white sand covered the seven continents, great cracks formed on every major continent as the poles were melted and forever lost.
Overall, this place was lifeless and possibly deteriorating as in the skies above, the very air started to crack into blackened shards of energy.
ZOOP!
However, at the very same time, a familiar being fell from a red portal, moving as fast as a fighter jet towards the ground.
CRASH!
And impacted upon the soot covered dirt like a stone in a lake, making the figure, now identified as Cassandra, groan a little as she felt her throat 'pop' for a second after hitting the stones lining the dirt itself.
"Ow…" she groaned while getting up and shaking her head. "What happened? Huh?"
That was when she realized that her throat was feeling better, which made her feel a little better as she had a sore throat for a few months since her return from Hong Hong that made her unable to speak without pausing every word she made.
"Finally." she muttered before taking in the devastated land in front of her and went 'wide eyed' in surprise, especially when she looked up and saw the sky 'breaking'. "...what the fuck?!"
As she stood there, taking everything in and calming her nerves after a few minutes of internal panicking, she recalled the fact she was wearing an Nth Metal coated suit of unknown origins with a strange power to teleport apparently.
"..." she moved her heads from side to side while feeling the fabric in between her digits, which felt soft yet metallic. "Strange. Really strange."
As she looked upon the gloved hands, she felt something in the back of her mind compelling her to experiment, on what she had no idea but it was better than going into battle with a suit that could make her explode or something.
"...maybe the suit has an AI?" she muttered to herself. "Will try. AI activate."
Silence.
"AI open?"
Silence.
"AI...appear?"
Silence.
"...this is hard." she muttered before saying out loud. "AI come forth."
Silence.
Cassandra grumbled while kicking a bit of pumice with her left foot. "Stupid suit." 'Why can it just give me some advice?'

She jumped in surprise at hearing the voice again but calmed down and decided to get some answers, even if the answers might be harmful to her current mental state. "AI. What am I wearing exactly? In detail."

"...wow." she muttered to herself in shock.

Cassandra cocked her eyebrow up hearing the words 'Dark Multiverse'. "What is the Dark Multiverse?"

"..." she shuddered at the information before asking. "What exactly lives here?"

"Damn." she muttered. "What else lives here, not bad fathers."

Cassandra blinked in surprise at such dangerous beings while feeling like they would actually kill her if they ever escaped this 'Dark Multiverse', hopefully it wouldn't happen at all. "Ok. How do I get out of here?"
{Unknown. AI Questionnaire Powering Down.}
"Wait! Don't!" she yelled while the AI's voice dissipated and she was left, alone, in this barren place. "Damm."
As she looked around the area, she noticed a few jutting rocks poking out of the ash covered ground and had the idea of seeing what the suit could do, now that she knew what it was capable of.
'Let's see. From what I know, Nth Metal has various properties that father told me about. But the 'Bleed Suit', that I have no idea what it will do with this dark variant of Nth Metal.' she thought to herself. 'Maybe try the utility belt? The instant weapons? Mmm...the three main functions might be used later.'
And like that, her training began as she looked at her utility belt and it's black capsules.
"Don't use them often...but will make an exception." Cassandra muttered while fiddling with the capsules, trying to get them to open. "Harder than it seems."
(A few minutes of tinkering later)
'GAH! Why is this so hard to open!?' she screamed in her head in frustration while looking very annoyed and pissed.
That was when she noticed that the capsule was thought sensitive as when she thought the word 'open' a random capsule turned red and caused it to 'unzip' near the top of the capsule, revealing a small black smoke pellet that shot out and exploded in front of her.
POOF!
"Cough cough!" Cassandra coughed while moving the smoke away from her face. "Ok. Suit reads mind...interesting."
(A bit later)
Cassandra panted while sitting on a broken chunk of concrete, buried by a small layer of ash, as she made some progress in her 'training'.
For the last few hours she has learned only a small fraction of the suit's capabilities, but she has now gained access to certain weapons and abilities. Some of these abilities and weapons are as followed:
Grappling hooks, smoke pellets, smoke bombs, mini explosives, extendable jack cable, body wide taser function, glider, rocket boosters, radio wave receiver, plasticuffs, infrared, x-ray and telescopic vision, remote tracking devices, katana blades, wrist launchers, titanium nets, cryptographic sequencer, bolas, gas pellets, glue globules, lock picks, plasma cutter, thermite grenades, finger tipped napalm launchers, Nth Metal tipped nail launcher, EMP cannons, an ultrasonic bat beacon, sonic devastators, sonic cannons, cloaking field, impenetrable force field, oil slick generator, kryptonite laced knucklebusters, internet accessibility, normal batarangs, hollowed batarangs, poison batarangs, shock batarangs, fire batarangs, ice batarangs, homing batarangs, instant multiplying batarangs, kryptonite batarangs, magic infused batarangs, acid batarangs, marshmallow batarangs (for some strange reason), magnetized batarangs, scanners, metal detector, radiation detector, underwear attractor (for some reason), automatic dancing program, signal lights visa cape, hat generator, cat attractant, internal breathing apparatus (in the shape of gills for some reason), a sub frequency Bat Vehicle remote/hacker and a Bat credit card (which made her pissed for some reason).
Overall, she has gained a lot of tools and abilities, but this is just scratching the surface of what the Bleed Suit could actually do...if she could actually get it to work!
"So many functions...so little time." she panted while noticing that the sky was slowly breaking even faster as patches of white void came from the cracked areas. "Still...confused on the credit card." 'And angry.'
That was when she noticed a bright yellow dot in the distance...which was moving right towards her!

Cassandra got up and entered a stance as the light moved right towards her location at the near speed of light.

She blinked before seeing a figure moving closer, that being a short man with hazel eyes, pointed ears, pale skin, wearing a black and gold form fitting suit that covered his body, with a single circular circle on his chest with several overlapping lines going along the inside of it and had a yellow ring on his left ring finger.
As he got closer, Cassandra recognized the symbol on his chest as the Sinestro Corp insignia, which made her strengthen her guard as this was a being with a very powerful weapon made of fear itself. But that was when she saw his face, which was covered in black circles and a very tired expression, as if the literal life was sucked out of him and replaced with eternal self loathing and lack of self motivation.
He looked at her and floated above the girl as he seemed to be interested in her, for some reason. "Oh, a human. Must be an illusion or something."
"Not an illusion." she frowned. "Why are you here...wait. Multi-Man?"
"...I have not heard that title in years. But it could just be my insanity taking hold finally. Although having the power of neverending sanity makes it impossible."
Cassandra blinked. "What is going on? You were supposed to be in the Slab."
He shivered and felt his fears feeting the yellow ring itself. "It is long gone, so is the rest of Sector 2814. But I still don't believe you're real."
She raised her left hand up and shot a batarang at him.
"GAH!" he got out while getting hit in the head, blood dripping from the side of his forehead as his ring formed a protective yellow energy barrier around his body. "Ow. Ok, I guess you ARE real. But how?"
"How what?"
"How did you survive the simultaneous fifty supervolcanic eruptions?"
"...what?"
"The super volcanoes, how did you survive them?" he frowned. "The ones I unintentionally created in a madness induced lapse of judgement?"
Cassandra blinked and looked around while a little surprised that one man could do this, only to recall that his powers usually changed after he resurrected himself. "Madness?"
He grumbled. "Yes, from the same thing that made the world a living clown factory." he then pointed to a nearby rockface that had the carved face of the crown prince of crime himself, the Joker. "Joker venom."
She blinked in surprise before several images entered her head, each one painful and giving her a migraine, as they showed images of the Joker injecting a broken man with several hypodermic needles along with several mountain ranges exploding all at once with the power of a few million Hiroshima Bombs.
Crack.
Both heard the loud cracking sound as they looked at the sky and saw that it was deteriorating at an alarming rate as the world around them seemed to be breaking down into its subatomic parts.
{Warning! Dark Earth Deteriorating! Collapse Imminent!}
Crack.
Crack.
Crack.
"Oh no." Multi-Man said in horror as the world began to break around him. "Entropy has arrived."
"Shit." Cassandra muttered as the ground began to crack around her.
Crack.
Crack.
Crack.
{Establishing Portal. Now.}
ZOOP!
Cassandra's hands glowed with a bright red energy as a large red portal formed right next to her as the Yellow Lantern took notice and went wide eyed.
"You could create a portal in space!" he got out with renewed hope as the ring began to dim in power, the world starting to collapse into the void. "You must take me with you!"
"Can't." Cassandra said while getting sucked in. "Suit has a mind of its own."
ZOOP!
And vanished into it as the portal dissipated into nothingness.
"No….No…..No! NO!" he yelled as the world began to break around him, his ring depowered due to the hope within it. "N-"
And just like that, nothing. Nothing but a white void.

Original Earth/Timeline: Joker: The Last Laugh event- an event where Joker is falsely given a CAT scan with a brain tumor and tries to go out with a bang visa turning all Slab inmates into Jokerized beings and causing mass chaos until Nightwing kills him, only to be revived and placed in prison once more.
Dark Multiverse Earth/Timeline: The Final Joke timeline- In this timeline though, the Joker was able to Jokerize Multi-Man, which results in him killing himself over and over again until he gains the power to cause natural disasters and uses it to destroy civilization itself before dying from the poison, only to be reborn with his sanity again and is in complete despair over his actions. He would later gain a Yellow Lantern in the aftermath, becoming it's only guardian for all eternity.
Powers/Abilities/Knowledge gained: More knowledge of The Bleed Suit.
