-Dedicated to KaiHil Fanfiction for being the 100th reviewer-
The 16-year old schoolgirl was miserably lying on the cold, ruthless ground of Japan, her back faced the sky. Her cloths were torn into pieces, bare back had the signs of the scratches of a heinous beast's talons, blood dripping from there. Her lips were swollen, cut and releasing the crimson liquid. Smooth forehead got a bluish-black bump. Even her bare shoulders and arms had also long, linear gashes with beads of blood clinging to them. The ripped portions of her tops were blowing in the air, around her. Her nails dunked in the earth, trying to hold it for support. Sky-blue hair splayed all over her back, sometimes, flurrying a bit. No strength was left in her body to stand up. Those bastards had snatched all of it, along with her dignity.
"Ayaka!"
When the bike of the slate-haired guy stopped right there, he didn't waste a single moment to get down and rush to his fallen sister. His chocolate-haired girlfriend followed him as fast as she could. Reaching her, she swiftly covered the teenager with her jacket. Kai held her tightly, raising her from the ground a bit as Hilary clutched her head on her lap, panicked and saddened. But Kai was so hurt and deflated that he couldn't even speak a single word. He easily understood who had done such a ruin to his innocent, affectionate, beloved sister. His soul trembled in anger, he wished he could have buried all of them. But saving Ayaka was the most important task then.
"Ayaka?!" Hilary asked, her heart shivered, "What…what happened to you, dear?"
"Ni….ni-san…." Ayaka shuddered, not wanting to remember the nasty events, "Those…those bastards r…ruined me…I'm dying, brother…."
"No…!" Kai clutched her head closer to his chest, "Nothing…nothing will happen to you…."
"Brother….." She was feeling so troubled to speak as well as staring at the eyes of the dual-haired guy, "Tyson will never forgive me…he'll never accept me…with my unholy body…."
"Hush!" Hilary spoke, trying to manage the situation, "It's not the time to speak these things. You've to get well soon. Kai, we have to take her to hospital. I'm driving the bike; you sit behind me with her."
Lifting the schoolgirl by hooking his arms under her head and knees, Kai stood up as his girlfriend rushed to the bike. He took the seat behind her, grabbing his sister firmly as Hilary herself started the two-wheeled vehicle on the way to the hospital. The brunette drove it in a high speed, taking not a big amount of time at all to reach their destination. Placing Ayaka on a stretcher, the nurses and doctors immediately took her to the emergency, assuring them that she'd be alright soon. Pressing her forehead, Hilary looked at her boyfriend who wasn't facing her, leaning his palm against a wall. Nearing her, she placed a hand on his shoulder, "Kai?"
He revolved to her, she discovered her bloodshot eyes and tears brimming there. He was always a tough guy but when it came to his sister, he had to break down. The enmity of Brooklyn and his gang was with him but…what was the fault of Ayaka in this? She was completely innocent and simple, knowing not a single strategy of different kinds of politics. She had done nothing to them. She was so good-hearted that she hadn't badmouthed Brooklyn a bit even when she'd been mourning over the death of her crush. Once again, Kai was feeling so helpless in his life. No brother wants to see this condition of his sister ever. Yet, he had to see it.
Hilary understood what was going through the man. Taking his hand, she gently drew him to a steel-rimmed bench propped against the hospital wall and made him sit there. Pulling his head closer to her shoulders, she embraced him gently. Kai tucked his forehead in her neck and grabbed her arms for support. His body convulsed miserably; tears drenched the neckline of the brunette. She patted his back soothingly as her eyes also became tearful in his pain. She bit her lips hard to control them. She shouldn't cry before him; he could go weaker if she did that. Silently, the brunette cursed her father and his pet terrorists under her breaths. For cherishing their goals, they hadn't left even an innocent girl?
"Hils…." Kai's voice was broken, yet, stern, "Call mom once. I…I don't have the courage to speak to her right now."
Nodding heavily, Hilary took out her phone, taking Kai's head on one of her shoulders.
"What the hell have you done?!"
Hachiro spat at his raven-haired attendant who was standing there, bending his head down. He himself didn't know what he had done to the girl then because he'd been too intoxicated at that time to be in proper senses. Brooklyn nudged him, "Why, Carlos? Couldn't you control that little bitch of yours? There were a lot of brothels, you could easily enter anyone of them if you wanted."
"You shut up, Brooklyn," The politician snarled, clasping his collars and shaking him, "I'm restless because of my daughter and you all always tend how to seek for enjoyment. Have you thought once what will happen now? What if that girls open her mouth now?"
"Don't worry at all, boss," The orangette chortled, "Since the misdeed has been done, the mouth of that girl will be also sealed forever. If you want…"
"Yeah, do that soon!" Hachiro pushed Brooklyn, "Quick!"
Signaling his teammates to go out, the orange-haired guy exited the room hurriedly. Looking viciously at their footsteps, Hachiro commented, "There goes a proverb in politics. You shouldn't move forward keeping any witness behind."
"Smack!"
The door of the hospital room was flung open by the boots of the terrorists as they entered there, without any manner or permission of the in-charges. The doctors and nurses working there gasped, turning their heads to the intruders. The sky blue-haired girl on the bed had no sense due to the sedatives pushed inside her body though she was out of risks then. Her brother wasn't there; he'd gone out for buying medicines. Misaki quickly rushed to the aid of her daughter. Not caring and utilizing the chance, they were about to progress towards the bed of the patient but before it, someone stood in front of them, protectively spreading her arms.
"Brooklyn!" The brunette hissed, "Don't dare take a single step forward! Otherwise, the consequence won't be in your favor!"
The orangette didn't say anything, shoving her on the ground aside all of a sudden. Getting up like a spring, the girl pulled his collars from behind. His teammates came to draw her but she elbowed and back-kicked them so hard as they fell on the floor and got collided with the walls badly. She was trying to protect Ayaka from the terrorists anyhow because the schoolgirl had become already a family member to her. She'd left her original family but the mother and the sister of her boyfriend had given her the feel of a real family. That's why, the tug of Hilary on Brooklyn was so tough that the boy couldn't move forward. That's why, the tangerine-head cried, "Gun!"
Receiving the indirect order of their leader, one of them pulled out a 9mm pistol and shot right at the left arm of Hilary. The brunette seethed in pain, blood dripping from there. Misaki gasped but the university-girl didn't leave the orangette though her clutches were getting weaker bit by bit. Brooklyn didn't waste another moment, thrusting her again from him like dusting dirt from his cloths. He didn't feel guilty whatever he'd done. Hadn't Hilary been the daughter of his boss, he would never have minded to do the same thing with her which had been done to Ayaka. Fallen on the floor, Hilary groaned in pain as the other goons grabbed her arms, she got skidded on the ground by them, out of the room. She kicked her legs and tried hard but she was losing her energy bit by bit.
"You've already got my girl doomed!" Misaki protested and pleaded to the orange-haired guy at the same time helplessly, "Please, spare her this time."
"Never!" Chuckling a bit, Brooklyn shoved the helpless mother too towards another wall. The doctors and nurses couldn't even object because of the pistols pointed at them. Lifting the sedated patient, the orangette flung her limp body towards the large, rectangular window of the hospital room. The glass got shattered as the poor, frail, asleep girl fell down on the ground, in front of the hospital building. Misaki couldn't bear the scene, she lost her consciousness right there as the doctors hurried to her for her aid. Done with his job, Brooklyn escaped through the backdoor of the hospital with his remaining comrades.
Right then, Kai stopped in front of the hospital. His eyes went widened at the reddened corpse of his sister, lying on a puddle of blood, spreading on the ground bit by bit. Dropping the bag of capsules and tablets right there, he rushed towards Ayaka's body and held her had on his lap but too late it became. The sky blue-haired girl was no more on the earth. Kai's fingers shivered as they touched her icy face, sensing that she had already breathed her last. Suddenly, he lost all the powers of moving his organs. His heartbeats were about to stop, so did his breaths. His little sister whom he'd loved so much…..
"Ayaka….." He bit his lips hard and held her head closer to his chest, tears seeping from his eyes, "My sister…."
"Kai!" The brunette heavily plodded to her boyfriend somehow, pressing her wounded arm and gnashing her jaw. The goons couldn't have taken her to her father. Trying a lot, she had overthrown them with her karate chops and kicks though it had troubled her much, causing to have more blood loss. Kai confusedly shifted his bloodshot, tired amethysts at her; she stumbled in front of him while walking.
"Hilary?!" Nearing him, not leaving the corpse of Ayaka, he held his girlfriend.
"Forgive me….." Her eyes were getting closed, tears soaking her pale cheeks, "I….I tried my best….but couldn't save Ayaka…."
Meanwhile, he could see Tala and Julia there, dashing to them. Hilary had informed them before too when she'd called Misaki. Seeing everything, they both became totally dumbfounded and shocked. Julia somehow spoke, "What happened to Ayaka?"
"Take care of Hil." The half-Russian stood up, lifting the unconscious brunette into a bridal style and giving them to his friends, "I cannot mourn now. I have to do something bigger at this time."
Not even giving them any chance to speak further, the dual-haired guy wiped his eyes and turned back. It was the time for him to get back to his usual self. He couldn't let himself burn in the fire of grief. Rather, he was burning in the flames of vengeance. Soon, he would put those terrorists in the same pyre and turn them into ashes. Otherwise, he could never forgive himself. He knew where they all were at that moment.
The slate-haired guy ran swiftly across the half-dark, silent, desolate alley of Japan, with sodium lamps giving him light. A little far away from him, there was Brooklyn and his gang. They were feeling so relieved then, removing a big throne from their way. When they'd informed this to their boss, he'd also sounded happy and contented with them. He'd also sent them a large amount of money in return. In the next election, there was no way that Kai would win. This time, Brooklyn was surely gonna be the vice-president of the central students' union, eliminating Kai forever from his rank. That's why, they were celebrating their victory, taking sips from the green glass bottles of vodka and puffing cigarettes.
"Brooklyn!"
Dropping the bottles on the ground, they all took their positions, not expecting Kai to be there. The Russian leapt forward and grabbed the arms of two but another two seized his legs as the four lifted him in the air. Struggling, they were dragging the slate-haired but couldn't do much as he kicked his legs, throwing the first pair away and landing on the floor. Suddenly, in an odd season and an odd month, the downpour started as a surprise, creating a torrent there. The VP got drenched completely from his head to toe, so did his enemies. None cared, none minded. Their concentration was only set on how to defeat their rivals.
Blocking the blow of another by clutching his wrist in the air, Kai punched at his stomach. Kicking directly at his neck at the second turn, he made the terrorizer receive a pretty hard fall. Twisting another ankle, the VP gave a high-kick at the jaw of the fourth one, rotating his leg in vacuum. Soaked, the opponent stumbled a bit for balance but not delaying, Kai skillfully raised the second leg in the air, aiming at the same spot. Thus, he got knocked down, landing on the sodden, muddy ground of the abandoned warehouse area. A few droplets sprinkled from the puddle of rainwater where the enemy descended. Kai seethed violently, remembering the face of Ayaka. He'd to avenge her death at any cost.
The orange-haired returned to the battlefield with a scimitar in his hands. Beads of fresh, pure water clang down on its shimmering silvery surface. However, it needed human blood to quench its thirst, not rainwater. The orangette was advancing towards Kai with his weapon who was shoving his knuckles at the guts and neck of the fifth one name Carlos mercilessly, carefully dodging the attacks of his opponent as well as not knowing that he was the one who was the sole reason behind the death of his sister. Clutching his collars, Kai lifted him and wheeled him back. Unknowingly, Brooklyn's scimitar pierced Carlos's stomach. Along with the thunderbolt, the last screech of the raven-haired terrorist got mixed. Thus, only one remained there in the end, confused and startled at his mistake.
Brooklyn swiftly operated the scimitar but Kai swooped down, successfully dodging the hit. The orange-head was swinging the machete but retreating, jumping and maintain his balance, the VP was protecting himself from the weapon. At a time, he booted the face of his rival continuously four or five times, thrusting him against a thick metal pipe. The downpour became heavy on them, getting their shirts clung to their skins. Both were violent, hyped, specially, the slate-haired guy. Brooklyn had fought against him before it, a lot, but never had he seen him behaving so reckless. He couldn't understand it because he didn't lose his sister. Blocking Brooklyn's punch, Kai placed a karate chop on his neck which made him weak. Kneeing his jaw, the slate-haired pinned him against the surface, snatching all his supports.
"Kai!" Brooklyn finally felt what the fear of death was, "Don't kill me! I'm begging to you for my life!"
"You bastard!" Kai lifted him by the collars and shook him uncontrollably, "If I give your life back to you, it will be a betrayal to Ayaka, Tyson and so many people who left this earth untimely! If you're alive today, it will be a compromising to the enemies of common people!"
When Kai rotated him and strangled him hard, wrapping his arm around the neck of the orange-head, Brooklyn tried to speak, "Kai….I….I did nothing…willingly…"
"Even Azrael doesn't do anything willingly, Brooklyn," Kai rumbled, "You killed my sister and her body hasn't been buried yet. I won't bury her before seeing your corpse!"
Like fountains, the waterfalls of the sky were poured on them. His hands choked the notorious student leader harder. If Brooklyn didn't die today, Ayaka's soul could never get peace, nor Tyson's. He felt that they would never forgive him. When he thought that he couldn't be a good brother or a good senior, his blood bubbled more in his veins, riding his brain and driving it like a reckless stallion. Before it, he'd spared Brooklyn always, not wanting to extend violence more in the campus. But he cursed himself today for letting him go at those periods. Then, it'd been a sparkle. Now, it became a flame which was turning his life into ashes bit by bit. So, he had to pour water to smother it as soon as possible.
The face of the orangette suddenly lit up with his aquamarine orbs as he saw a remaining man of him hurrying towards Kai with another scimitar in his hand. Kai noticed the unexpected light in his eyes though he was being choked by him. He understood what was being cooked in his brain. Using his flex, the slate-haired student hopped and landed on another pipe, leaving Brooklyn alone there. The aggressor couldn't stop himself due to the inertia of motion. The blade penetrated Brooklyn's chest and stuck there, blood drenched his white, muddy shirt. Blood dribbled from the vast wound; his eyelids went heavy in pain. Remembering the same thing about Tyson, tears almost came to Kai's eyes but he didn't move. Clenching his teeth, the orangette fell right there. Utilizing the chance, Kai knocked the attacker out with a punch at the pressure point of his neck and exited the place, not delaying or turning back.
In his airconditioned chamber, the brown-haired politician was leaning against the black leather revolving chair very comfortably, puffing a cigarette. In front of him, on the black ligneous table, there was a bottle of red wine along with a porcelain ashtray. His daughter hadn't returned to him yet but he was relieved because his pet dogs had been successful to remove the witness of rape from the world forever, thus not letting his image get stained with the ink of impurity. The election was waiting for him, so was the seat of a parliament member. He knew that he would win it again. For it, he'd to make some space for Brooklyn and his teammates in the central students' union of Tokyo Institute of Technology. No problem, he was the owner of a diamond mine. Necklaces or earrings weren't a big deal for him at all.
"Thud!"
The door of his chamber was flung open without any hint or permission. Startled, Hachiro straightened his back from his seat. At his doorway, the slate-haired guy was standing, crossing his arms on his chest. But his usual appeasing amethyst orbs weren't calm anymore. Rather, flames were burning there which were ready to erase his existence from the world. Drenched shirt was sticking to his body, slate bangs were clinging to his forehead, he was panting with his murderous glances at the corrupt politician. Hachiro shivered seeing his expressions, not expecting him to be there. Subconsciously, he got an ill feeling in his stomach that his pet dogs had already been thrashed by the VP to death. Now, it was his turn.
"There goes a proverb in politics," Throwing away all his courtesy, Kai strode in, "When there is excessive darkness, even your shadow will leave you."
"K….Kai…." Hachiro joined his hands, "P…please, forgive me. I'm begging to you for your apology!"
"Apology?" Kai cocked an eyebrow, smirking a bit as if he'd been hearing the word for the first time in his life.
"What…what do you want?" The brunette tried to tempt him, "I'll give you everything. Money, power, house, cars, girls….even I'll give you my Hilary too!"
"How'll you give her when you have lost all your rights on you?" Kai simpered, clutching his collars, grasping him against the well-varnished wall of his chamber and exploding in an outburst, "If you want to give me something, return my father! Give my sister back to me who had to become the victim of the lust of your pet dogs! Return the life of Tyson who was my obedient junior! Revive all those lives who had to leave this earth untimely only because of you as well as those innocent students whom you destroyed for your own selfish motives! Return them!"
As Kai's knuckles strangled his neck, Hachiro pleaded, "Kai…I-I will never do politics in my life again! Please, pardon me now!"
"No, you can never be pardoned!" He pushed himself more, "When corrupt leaders like you leave the political sector, Japan will be free of terrorism. Education will be fearless!"
The brunette pushed the dual-haired aside and started running for his dear life. Kai also didn't give up, following him how a tiger follows a stag. Riding his bike, Hachiro came out of the building. When Kai noticed it, he took a bicycle which was propped against the lamp-post and rode it, chasing the thug almost in an equal speed. He paddled it as fast as he could, Hachiro pressed the gears harder. Already, the sun had risen. The rain had also stopped before a few hours. The automatic and analogue wheels of both the two-wheelers splashed mud and water but the riders didn't care. One defended, one attacked. All these things happened between the series of the road-side trees.
Out of nowhere, a group of cyclists accompanied Kai, taking turns from different lanes and roads. The blunette and the redhead were beside each other, leading the team. When they called the VP and showed him their thumbs, smiling back, Kai turned forward and paid attention to catch the politician. Colliding with each other, some bikers fell down but stood up again to help their leader so that Hachiro couldn't escape from his paws. All the roads became silent in shock, looking at the race with extended eyes. Some people couldn't understand why a renowned leader like Hachiro had to flee like a mouse. That was quite uncommon to them.
Coming to the main road, Hachiro stopped his bike due to the traffic jam through which he couldn't pass. He didn't have the time to wait for the breaking of the blockade. So, getting down from the motorcycle, he scurried. Kai also rested the bicycle right there against the signal stamp and sprinted behind him across the series of buses, trucks and cars. The passengers became astonished, peering out and watching the race between a brown-haired politician and a slate-haired young man in his early twenties, warm blood flowing through his veins. Crossing a street island, they both stepped in their campus. Now, the game would begin from where it had started…
But Hachiro didn't know that he himself entered the den of tigers while escaping from the keen paws and fangs of one of them. All the students caught him and threw him on the field. Imprisoning him in a circle, they surrounded him how a flock of wolves trap a ram. Kai outstretched him by the collars and blew again at his face. Even the teachers also came out from their room to see what was happening. Some were very overjoyed, not able to control their flowing feelings which were honest and true. Miss Kincaid was one of them, feeling that her revenge was being completed finally. However, the vice chancellor didn't forget his duty, warning, "Kai! Don't forget the rules!"
"Rules?" Kane screwed his brows, "The rules which miserably failed to save the life of a renowned, righteous and true politician like Susumu Hiwatari, pushing his family into darkness, the rules which couldn't save an innocent student like Tyson, the rules which couldn't stop such a remorseful event which happened with an angelic girl-how will they be applied in the case of this scoundrel, Sir? Kai, thrash him more! We all are with you!"
Every student joined the VP, kicking and punching the dirty politician harder, shoving him on the field. Somehow standing up and pushing everyone, Hachiro ran towards the stairs. Like always, Kai didn't leave him alone this time too. With his torn cloths, Hachiro climbed the stairs, reaching the roof of the building of the department of Electronic and Computer Engineering. For having an escape, the brown-haired politician lifted a rod and hit Kai's forehead; the latter clasped his head in pain. Utilizing the chance, Hachiro jogged towards the edge of the roof. Other students wanted to come to check Kai but he stopped them, screaming, "No! Now, this battle is mine!"
In panic and tension, their breaths were on the verge of getting ceased. Forgetting the amount of pain in his head, Kai reached Hachiro and kept punching him mercilessly. Then, he pinned the politician against the railing.
"Kai…." Hachiro begged again, "Don't….don't kill me…."
"Down there, it's your death," The VP hissed, "Behind, there are my supports. Around us, there's an outburst. No antagonist of history could survive from this outburst, Hachiro Tachibana! No one!"
Not pleading more, the brunette punched at the guts of the slate-haired, sending him to another corner. Then, he outstretched a large, heavy slab of cement over his head and chuckled ferociously at Kai. Nonetheless, the VP was calm, waiting for his approach. Hachiro scurried towards him, not having any control over his velocity. When he was about to reach the dual-haired, the latter dodged the attack by turning around on his ankles and maintaining his balance holding the waist-high railings of the roof. Again, thanks to inertia of motion, Hachiro couldn't control his legs. He fell down on the ground, leaving the slab.
Dead….
Soon, a police van entered the campus area as the cops landed from the car. Rushing towards the spot and noticing the crowd of the students-teachers of the university surrounding the dead body of the politician, the inspector asked, "Who's committed the murder?"
"I have."
Out of nowhere, the wife of the martyred politician, Susumu Hiwatari, voiced, holding the brunette whose one arm was hanging from her neck with the support of a white sling. Then, there were no tears in her eyes. They were completely dry like a desert. She wasn't mourning for her daughter anymore. Rather, fire was burning in her pupils. Even she could also understand that it was the time of outburst, not for grieving and shedding tears.
"No!" The female brunette cried, with a heavy burden of lamentation in her heart but not a single bead of saline waterworks in her flaming ruby orbs, "I have murdered him whom I used to know as my father once upon a time! I'm the murderer!"
"No," Kai calmly said, "I'm his murderer."
"Don't need to take the credit all alone, Kai." Tala simpered.
"I've killed him!" Julia announced.
"No, we've!" Kane and Salima's voices hit the ears of the police together.
"Me." Miss Kincaid wasn't a woman to step back.
"Me."
"Me."
"WE ALL!"
When the crowd cheered together and punched in the air, the cops became nervous. Deciding that it was an accident, they left the place with no more interrogation. Hilary rested her head on Kai's chest, sniffling uncontrollably as Kai wrapped her shoulders gently, comforting her. All his revenges had got fulfilled. Now, he was calm. He could breath in peace after a long time.
This outburst was inevitable.
~Epilogue~
"Hils…."
Softly, he murmured, placing a hand on her shoulder. They were currently in the graveyard. Before a while, the corpse of Ayaka had been buried with the performances of the last rituals. It was situated right beside the tombstone of the navy-haired university-student. The calm but heavy wind, bearing the weight of the lamentation of thousands of common people hovered around them like a ghost, playing with their slate and chocolate bangs, yet, they didn't feel eerie. The brunette slowly turned back to her lover, not raising her gazes. Perplexities spread all over the heart of the dual-haired. Why was she feeling bashful?
"Kai, I won't apologize to you," Her voice was serious, "Because, I had severed all my ties with Hachiro Tachibana long before his demise. Now, I'm no one to him, he is no one to me. I'm independent now."
Kai didn't utter anything. Hilary continued, "I've heard that he's kept a large amount of wealth and property for me. I won't even touch them because they all were earnt by unfair means. Kai, it's your responsibility to deal with them now."
"I cannot return the money of the common people," The slate-haired guy sighed, "But I can surely do something for them which will compensate Hachiro's misdeeds."
"As in?"
"A school and a hospital," Kai shared his idea with his girlfriend, "Where the poor students and patients don't have to pay money for taking the services. Thus, people will be benefited."
A big smile spread across the angelic face of the brunette. She leapt, "That's such a great idea, Kai! You're brilliant! But…what will be the names of those institutions?"
"Hm…." Closing his eyes, Kai took a deep breath, "Tyson Granger Memorial Academy and Ayaka Hiwatari Charity Hospital. How're they sounding?"
"Great….." Hilary whispered, forcing her tears back and leaning her head on his shoulder, "They'll be very happy from heavens, right?"
"Hm…." Kai wrapped an arm around her neck protectively, "It's been possible only for you. Thanks for sticking to me, Hilary."
"It's my pleasure….." The brunette tucked her face in his chest, "After a long time, I can breathe in peace. Kai, I love you."
"I love you too, Hils…."
He quietly tied her in his embrace. The hovering, heavy breeze of the graveyard turned gentle around them all of a sudden, calming down and witnessing their divine, pure, true love. They were comrades, they were by each other's side always. Their love had to give a lot of tests but they successfully passed all of them. Even losing all her relatives and having no one in this world, the brunette didn't feel miserable because she knew that Kai was for her, with her always. Kai knew that he didn't have to worry when the brunette was with her. She was not like the rest of the lovers in this world. She became his right hand, his support. She would be there whenever he would need him. There were euphoria, peace and joy showering over them. Together, they would create a new world, they would raise a new beginning.
Once again, they found love in the world of the dead.
Let there be peace upon the world...
Done done done! Yayyy!
So people, how was the entire fic? Did you all like it or not? Writing about politics can be hard sometimes :P. Before going, let me say some truths. Politics is such a complicated field where nobody is 100% pure in the real world. Everyone has to commit mistakes, be them small faults or large crimes. Moreover, the politicians who tried to be honest had to face a lot of miseries on their ways, most of them resulting in deaths unfortunately. Just look at Kai in this fic, do you really think that his life would turn normal after it? Don't forget that Boris can come out of jail again (Sequel hinted :P). But, for making the world purer, politics has to be pure.
And love? Well, falling in love is easy but the how long can love survive? Just look at Kai and Hilary's ways. They fell in love with each other very easily, attaining it wasn't too hard but the real sinister began after their confessions. Hilary could easily suspect Kai as one of the murderers of Tyson but she didn't. She was beside him when even his own mother doubted him. She left her own home for Kai and started living a normal life which was really difficult for her. Even Kai also accepted her knowing that she was the daughter of the murderer of his father. There were so many cracks on their way of their love but their love didn't stumble. They turned their love into a weapon against all the injustice in this world. :)
Okay, enough lecturing. Do read and review. Pardon the grammatical and spelling errors, I didn't re-read it. :P Take care and stay safe :D
