Kim Possible: The Sitch Of College: Extra Hidden Talent
Chapter 2: Meetings And Lunch
AN: Thanks again to Sabre for his edits.
Kim and Ron were leading Sylvia through the halls of Starlight University. Since Sylvia told them that she likes to sing, Kim and Ron decided to show her the music rooms as well as the auditorium first.
"Thanks again for showing me around campus," Sylvia said, gratefully.
"No big," Kim said with a wave.
"It's the least we could do," Ron added. "We help people all the time."
"Yeah," Rufus added in Ron's pocket.
"As Dean Princeton said before, I have never been to America," Sylvia said. "So going to college in America will definitely take some getting used to. But I'll adapt."
As they neared the music room, they heard what sounded like metal striking the floor.
As they went into the music room, they soon saw Tara, Hope, Emma and Alexa wearing Irish themed outfits and black lace-up tap shoes. They were dancing on the stage to Irish themed music.
As soon as they were finished, they noticed Kim, Ron and another person they've never seen before enter the room.
"Oh, hey, Kim. Hey, Ron," Tara greeted.
"Hey, Girls," Kim greeted back. "That was great."
"Yeah," Ron spoke. "Who knew in just a few months, you two would have a knack for Irish Dancing?"
"Well, Emma and Alexa have been teaching us a lot," Tara said, gesturing to the twins.
"We just decided to practice dancing for the Talent Show on Saturday," Hope added.
"Yeah, and we can't wait to dance for the people on Saturday," Emma spoke up.
"It's gonna be great," Alexa added, excitedly.
The four girls soon noticed the new girl next to Kim and Ron.
"Hey, Kim, is that the new student you said you were going to be showing around today?" Tara inquired.
"She is," Kim answered before gesturing to Sylvia. "This is Sylvia Rendell. She transferred here from England."
She then introduced Sylvia to the four other girls.
"Sylvia, this is Tara, Hope, Emma and Alexa," Kim introduced.
"Hello," Sylvia greeted with a smile. "It's nice to meet all of you."
"It's nice to meet you too, Sylvia," Tara greeted with a smile.
"So, you just transferred here?" Hope inquired.
"Yes, and the Dean asked Kim and Ron here if they could show me around and they happily accepted," Sylvia answered. "They've been showing me where everything is in this school; I feel welcome already."
"That's good to hear," Tara said with a smile.
"We didn't show her where the dining hall is yet," Kim quickly added. "We thought we'd do that when we meet everyone for lunch. We were just showing Sylvia the music room."
"That's nice," Emma said.
"So Sylvia, where in England are you from?" Alexa asked.
"I'm from Manchester," Sylvia answered. "But until I turned eleven years old, I lived in Liverpool."
"Liverpool?" Tara said in surprise.
"Where the Beatles are from?" Hope added in surprise.
"That's right," Sylvia confirmed. "The Beatles are my favorite band."
"Wow, Marty and the rest of the guys are gonna love to hear that," Emma spoke with a smirk.
"Definitely," Alexa agreed.
"Are they the Beatles fans you told me about?" Sylvia asked Kim.
"Yes, they are," Kim replied.
"Marty is my boyfriend," Hope spoke up. "He and his friends are in a Beatles tribute band."
"They are going to be performing a song at the Talent Show tomorrow night," Tara added.
"That's wonderful," Sylvia responded. She then inquired. "This talent show. Is it too late to sign up for it?"
"No, of course not," Tara answered.
"I'm sure since you're new, Dean Princeton would let you sign up if you are interested," Hope added.
"That would be great," Sylvia said, happily. "I'm a natural born singer."
"I'm sure everyone would love to hear you sing," Kim spoke.
"Yeah, me and Kim are going to sing too," Ron added.
"That's great," said Sylvia.
Suddenly, Kim's Kimmunicator went off.
"What up, Wa- Monique?" Kim said in surprise.
"Hey, Kim," Monique, who appeared on the screen, waved. "Just wanted to tell you, that the girls and I are on our way to the dining hall."
Kim nodded, "Right, we'll be there."
"You got it, Girl, see you there," Monique said before she hung up.
"Come on let's go to the dining hall," Kim suggested. "Sylvia can meet everyone else there."
"Good idea," Ron said.
"I'd love to meet the rest of your friends," Sylvia agreed.
"We'll meet you down there as soon as we change out of our Irish Dancing outfits," Tara informed.
Kim nodded, "Ok, then,."
A few minutes later, Kim, Ron, Sylvia and all of their friends, those being the rest of Team Possible, Marty's group, and the rest of the Starlight Cheerleaders, minus Giselle, met up in the dining hall. The people from the group who weren't present were Leonard and Reggie.
When the rest of the group met Sylvia, they immediately took a liking to her. Her enthusiasm for singing and fascination for Greek mythology made them very interested. Marty, Jack, Doug, Ken and Ben were especially interested in the fact that she was from Liverpool.
"So you actually used to live in Liverpool?" Marty asked in amazement.
"Yes, I did," Sylvia answered. "Before I moved to Manchester."
"That is so cool!" Jack said in amazement.
"Did you ever meet Paul or Ringo?" Ben asked.
"No, I haven't," Sylvia said shaking her head.
"That's too bad," Ken said.
"You know, if you lived in Liverpool when you were young, maybe you could have met George while he was still alive," Doug added.
"You're right, I could have," Sylvia responded. "But I never did."
Marty sighed. "Well, that's a shame."
Sylvia turned to Kim who was sitting next to Ron.
"So Kim, have you and Ron ever been to England before?" Sylvia asked curiously.
"A few times actually," Kim answered. "Ron and I went there for our honeymoon once."
"And it was totally badical," Ron chimed in with a bright smile. "Especially since we were together. And always will be."
Kim smiled warmly at what Ron said.
"Yes, we will," Kim agreed.
"You know, we actually went to England once before that too," Ron pointed out. "Remember, KP? Before graduation, when we went there to stop that weird nanny?"
Kim shuddered, "To be honest, it was hard not to forget that."
"Forget what?" Sylvia asked.
Everyone else was also curious to know what Kim and Ron had gone through in England before graduation.
"Well, um-" Kim started nervously.
"This crazy old lady called Nanny Maim was turning people into babies and using them to steal pacifiers!" Ron blurted out.
"What?!" Everyone said with incredulous looks.
"How do you turn someone into a baby?" Tara said in confusion.
"She was using some sort of conveyor belt machine," Kim answered. "A person goes through that and comes out a baby."
"Why would she do that?" Monique asked with a weirded out expression.
"Well, it's kind of hard to explain," Kim said. "But the important thing is, we stopped Nanny Maim and turned all of her babies back into adults."
"Huh, must have been pretty weird having to fight babies," Jessica chimed in.
"I'll bet," Sophie added.
"Well, I really didn't need to fight," Kim pointed out. "I deal with babies all the time. It was more of a babysitting thing."
"And Kim's the best babysitter, I know," Ron added.
Kim smiled at that.
"Oh, I think I believe that," Monique said.
"Besides, Nanny Maim wasn't the only British villain we've had to deal with," Kim pointed out.
"On several separate occasions," Ron added.
"Who are you talking about?" Sylvia asked, curiously.
"Would you believe a man with monkey hands and feet who's obsessed with mystical monkey stuff?" Monique chimed.
"Oh, yes, I believe I know who you're talking about," Sylvia spoke. "One of your foes who calls himself Monkey Fist?"
"You know about him?" Kim asked.
"Yes, in fact, I always admired the famous archeologist, Lord Monty Fiske," Sylvia explained. "The way he collected ancient artifacts, the same way I was into Greek mythology. I was disheartened when I found out what he had become: a crazed monkey man who made you and Ron as enemies."
Kim and the others were very surprised at what Sylvia just said.
"Oh," Kim spoke up. "I'm very sorry, I didn't know."
"Oh, don't worry about it," Sylvia said with a wave. "You wouldn't have known."
"Yeah, well, even though he was a famous archeologist, when we first met him, I could tell, that his Lordship was 500 miles of bad road," Ron groaned. "And it turned out I was right."
"Um, might I ask why you hate him so much?" Sylvia asked.
"Fear of monkeys," Kim quickly added.
"Fear of monkeys? Why?" Sylvia asked.
"Long story, don't need to get into it," Ron answered. "Not again anyway."
The others from Middleton knew what Ron was talking about and were grateful that Ron didn't go anymore into it. Especially those who had been to the origin of Ron's fear of monkeys among other things.
Wanting to change the subject, Marcella decided to chime in.
"So, Sylvia, you're participating in the talent show too," Marcella asked.
"Yes, I am," Sylvia brightened up. "I will be singing in the talent show. I discovered my gift for singing when I was five years old."
"Really?" Kim said. "Cool."
"Kim used to sing when she was younger too," Ron said. "Although, she had trouble hitting the high notes."
Sylvia looked at Kim curiously and Kim sighed.
"It's true," Kim groaned. "But I did get better as you've obviously seen when me and Ron sang in that Talent contest."
"Yes, you must have," Sylvia said. "I hope you do well in this Talent Show as well."
"Yes, I do too," Kim said.
"Don't worry, Kim," Ron assured. "With how good we are at singing, I'm sure the audience will love us."
"I doubt that," A rude familiar voice was heard.
The group turned to see Giselle walking up to them with a smirk on her face.
"Because the winner of that contest is going to be me," Giselle said, condescendingly much to everyone else's annoyance.
"Um, who is this?" Sylvia asked, pointing at Giselle.
"Sylvia, this is Giselle," Sophie groaned. "Also known as the most obnoxious person in the world."
Giselle smirked, "Oh, Sophie, you never cease to amuse me."
"What do you want, G?" Kim demanded.
"Oh, I just wanted to wish everyone here good luck at the talent show," Giselle said. "I thought you would need it, considering none of you stand a chance against me."
"You really believe that?" Sylvia spoke up with her arms crossed.
"Of course, I do," Giselle answered. "Irish dancing, amateur guitar playing and bad singing are nothing compared to what I have planned."
"And that would be?" Sylvia asked.
Giselle took a few steps back and did a ballet twirl.
"Why ballet of course," Giselle said, looking smug.
Kim groaned, knowing there was something very familiar about what was happening right now.
"Tried ballet once," Sylvia said. "Didn't like it."
"Well, that must mean you weren't very good at it," Giselle said with a smirk. "Too bad for you."
Giselle then walked away from the group.
Sylvia snarled, "Where does that lady get off talking to us like that? I've got half a mind to give her a piece of my mind and I bet she would choke on it."
"She's always like that," Kim warned. "Just don't let her get to you. Me, Ron and everyone else who went to school with us, have had to put up with someone very similar for a long time."
Everyone cringed knowing who Kim was talking about.
"Who?" Sylvia asked.
"Don't ask," Kim groaned.
"Hey, guys," Came another familiar voice.
It was Leonard and Reggie.
"Oh, hey, Leonard. Hey, Reggie," Ron greeted.
"Hey, big brother," Doug addressed his big brother.
"Hey," Jack said.
"Sorry, we're late," Leonard apologized. "Reggie and I were finishing our biology tests."
"I know the feeling," Ron groaned.
"Sylvia, this is Doug's big brother, Leonard," Kim said. "He's the quarterback. He's also Jessica's boyfriend."
"That's right," Jessica said with a smile.
Leonard smiled back.
"And this is Jack's big brother, Reggie," Kim introduced. "He's also on the football team."
"Hey, there," Leonard greeted with a wave. "Nice to meet you.
"Uh, hi," Reggie said nervously with a wave.
"It's nice to meet you, Leonard. Reggie," Sylvia said with a smile.
She shook Leonard's hand. She then shook Reggie's hand.
Reggie blushed as this happened. He looked like he was at a loss for words.
This sudden nervous behavior didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the group.
"What's wrong with Reggie?" Liz whispered to Jack.
"I think I know what," Jack said with a smirk.
Reggie suddenly found his voice.
"It's nice to meet you too, Sylvia," Reggie said with a nervous smile. "I saw you with Dean Princeton yesterday. You're the new student that recently transferred here, right?"
"That's right," Sylvia confirmed.
"So, I hear you're a singer. Maybe…" Reggie started, hesitantly.
"Yes?" Sylvia said with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.
"Maybe you could perform for me sometime?" Reggie asked.
"I'd love to," Sylvia said with a bright smile.
Everyone chuckled at this. It seemed Reggie now had a thing for Sylvia.
After everyone was done with lunch. Kim and Ron were walking through campus.
"Well, that was certainly an interesting lunch, huh?" Ron said.
"Yep, Sylvia sure seems to be getting along well, with everybody," Kim agreed.
"And it seems that Reggie is a little smitten for her too," Ron said with a chuckle.
Kim chuckled too.
"Hey, guys, wait up," A voice called.
Kim and Ron turned to see Sylvia running up to them.
"What up, Sylvia?" Kim asked.
"You're not going to believe this," Sylvia said, ecstatically. "Reggie asked me out on a date!"
"Really?" Kim said in surprise.
"Yes, he's taking me to this Italian restaurant called, Italianos," Sylvia confirmed.
"Cool, Kim and I go there sometimes," Ron said.
"I didn't think Reggie would find the nerve to ask you out this quickly," Kim spoke.
"Me too," Sylvia said, nervously. "Dating was never really my thing. But noticed how sweet Reggie seemed to be, so I decided to give him a chance."
"Well, I hope you and Reggie have a great time tonight," Kim said sincerely.
"Yeah, like me and Kim did at our first real badical date at Junior Prom," Ron added.
Kim smiled at that.
"We'll see what happens," Sylvia responded. "I'll see you guys tomorrow."
"We'll see you too, Sylvia," Kim said as she and Ron started walking away.
"See you later," Ron added.
"Heh heh, bye bye," Rufus chirped in Ron's pocket.
Sylvia waved goodbye to them and started walking in the opposite direction. But as she walked further away from the campus, a devious grin suddenly spread across her face. She then turned around a corner and hid behind a building. She then took out a cell phone and started searching through her contacts until she came across a contact that said Uncle Monty.
Meanwhile, back at Dementor's lair, Dementor and Monkey Fist were discussing part of their plot to steal Ron's monkey powers.
"So tell again vhy do ve have to vait so long to steal ze equipment need for our plan?" Dementor demanded.
"Because part of the plan is to have Killigan distract Team Possible while we steal the equipment needed for our plan," Monkey Fist replied.
"Killigan?" Dementor repeated in surprise. "Vhy didn't you tell me he was in on this?"
"Because his role in this plan is very minor," Monkey Fist answered. "And part of the plan is for him to cause the distraction at 8:00 sharp."
"But vhy so late?" Dementor pressed for details.
"You'll just have to trust me," Monkey Fist insisted. "There is still much of this plan I can't risk revealing to anyone yet, save for what I've told you about how I plan to take Ron Stoppable's monkey powers."
Dementor groaned. "Fine! But zis better vork!"
"Do not worry, Dementor," Monkey Fist assured. "It will. Now if you'll excuse me, I have another matter I must attend to."
Monkey Fist then turned to walk out of the lair.
"Vhere are you going?" Dementor inquired.
"To make sure another part of the plan is still going smoothly," Monkey Fist stated vaguely.
"And what part of ze plan might zat be?" Dementor asked.
"You shall find out in due time," Monkey Fist insisted.
As Monkey Fist walked out, Dementor couldn't help, but feel that Monkey Fist was hiding something.
Monkey Fist left Dementor's lair and made sure he was a good distance away.
He looked at a watch he had on his wrist as if he was expecting something to happen at a specific time. As if on cue, a cell phone was heard ringing from inside Monkey Fist's gi.
"Right on time," Monkey Fist said with a smirk.
He soon answered the phone.
"Your timing is perfect," Monkey Fist spoke into the phone.
"Well, when it comes to world domination plans, it's important to be punctual," A female voice said on the other end.
"So, Sylvia, my dearest little niece," Monkey Fist addressed the other caller.
"Don't call me that," Sylvia said in a serious tone.
Monkey Fist sighed, "Fine. I take it you infiltration was successful?"
"It was," Sylvia said with glee. "I've already gained the trust of Kim and Ron Stoppable and their friends. They're falling for my little miss nice girl act, hook line and sinker."
"Good," Monkey Fist said. "Make sure it stays that way until we are ready to enact the final phase of our plan."
"Oh, don't worry, Uncle Monty. I intend to do just that," Sylvia assured. "I also succeeded in signing up for the Talent Show at Starlight University. And on top of that I have a date tonight."
"A date?" Monkey repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, and don't worry," Sylvia assured. "I'll make sure I am ready for my next part of the plan."
"Fine, but make sure you are ready in time for Killigan's distraction," Monkey Fist said in a serious voice. "And make sure your little date doesn't jeopardize anything."
"Oh, don't worry, Uncle Monty," Sylvia assured. "I have my own little contingency plan for if he learns too much on this date."
Monkey Fist sighed, "I can only imagine. Just make sure your gift is left undiscovered until the time comes to make your move."
"Oh, I will," Sylvia said before she and Monkey Fist hung up.
Back on Sylvia's end, she put her phone back in her pocket and looked at her necklace with an evil smile. As she held up her necklace, the eyes of the mermaid engraved on the pendant glowed red.
To Be Continued
AN: Yes, Sylvia is evil and in fact Monkey Fist's niece.
