The next morning Kida woke to Tsume pulling her out of her crib. "All right pup since mom's training all day you and me are headed to the park!" Tsume said as she took Kida to the kitchen.

After getting her ready, even though it was mid October it was still somewhat warm in Fire country so she didn't need anything warmer than her green doggy onesie, and fed Tsume grabbed her baby bag and gave it to Kuromaru to carry.

Kida giggled as she was carried out of her home. This was her first time out since she arrived from the hospital and she was excited. She was actually gonna see the place that all Naruto fans wanted to see! Konohagakure!

She squealed in delight when Tsume suddenly ninja jumped up high. She laughed as she took in the sight of the Inuzuka compound from the air. It was so big! They landed on the compound walls, it was less jarring than she'd thought it be. Before she could even make another thought, the world turned into a blur of colors as Tsume moved through the village. Kida giggled when they finally came to a stop. Shaking her head and looking around, her eyes widened in awe.

They were on top of a pole and she could see everything.

It was breathtaking. It was beautiful and colorful and sooo much bigger than she'd thought, there were so many new sights and sounds and scents. She grinned when she saw the Hokage mountain. There were three heads overlooking the village.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Tsume asked. Kida gurgled in agreement. "If you go through the academy it'll be up to you to protect it." Kida nodded, becoming a ninja wasn't something she needed to think about, the moment she had accepted that she was the Gamer she had already decided to be the strongest and that meant going the ninja route.

Tsume jumped from the pole, landing on a roof and Shunshined. The world was a blur of colors again making Kida giggle. She laughed when they landed near a park, Kuromaru already there waiting for them. The park had a large playground with swings, some slides, and a sandbox. There were several other families there already. Some were sitting on the benches watching their children, while others had picnic blankets set up.

When Tsume carried her through the boundary of the park she got a new notification.

Kida quickly opened her profile to see how much progress she made and groaned at the .02%. After a quick bit of math, where she included the -90% EXP debuff she realized she needed a total of 1000 points to level up. She groaned again, getting a concerned look from Tsume. She needed to gain more VIT if she wanted to make any kind of progress.

Kida observed everything she laid her eyes on as Tsume walked through the park. Then she saw him.

She recognized him as soon as she saw him, not even needing to see his name above his head to know who he was. He was very tall and lean with long spiky silver hair tied back in a low ponytail. He wore the Konoha Jounin uniform and had a short white sleeve with red trimming on his left arm.

The White Fang of Konoha, her third most favorite character and father of her favorite character, also known as Hatake Sakumo.

Now that her Observe was higher she could see his level which was 97! The highest she'd seen so far, and his stats were ridiculously high.

He was sitting crossed legged on top of a picnic blanket, a baby bag next to him and in his arms was a bundled up blanket with a little tuft of silver hair poking out of it.

Kida began wiggling around reaching toward the bundle. "Hey hey, Kida! I'm gonna drop you if you do that!" Tsume yelped as she tried to hold back the squirming baby. Kida didn't care if she fell, she needed to see baby Kakashi, it was a must. Sakumo chuckled as Tsume placed her on her stomach. Thankfully Sakumo unwrapped the bundle and placed the baby on the ground next to her.

He wore a dark grey onesie with the ninja swirl symbol over his round belly. His face was round and soft with baby fat, and he had large half lidded sleepy eyes. His spiky silver gravity defying hair was short and looked so soft. He had a cute little pout with a mole on the corner of his mouth.

Kida was instantly in love. She gurgled and moved her arm so it was resting over the ninja symbol.

Kakashi narrowed his eyes at her and rolled away from her touch.

Kida turned to stone, was she just rejected by the baby version of her favorite character? She pouted as she scanned him for his profile, he was barely younger than she was and he already had a bad attitude.

Sakumo and Tsume laughed at Kida's pout. "He doesn't seem to like anyone but me." Sakumo said as he picked up his son. "I'm worried that he won't get along with the Chunin teams I'm gonna get to prot-ah babysit him while I'm out on missions." He sighed as his child nuzzled his cheek against his flack jacket.

Tsume frowned, rubbing her sisters back as she turned over her sensei's words in her head. She knew what he was worried about, it was the same thing every clan feared. Even though they were in a semi peaceful time, Danzo was still collecting children. The son of the White Fang would be a nice addition to his collection. "If ya want I can ask my mom if she won't mind babysitting while she's on maternity leave."

Sakumo grimaced. "I appreciate that, but that's just for another three months. I need a more permanent solution and it needs to last until he joins the academy." He placed Kakashi back on the ground next to the Inuzuka baby. He rubbed his face when his son rolled away from the childs seeking hands.

He looked up when he heard the raised voice of his most problematic student. She was arguing with his third student over food, 'What a surprise' he thought sarcastically. "Yo! Sensei! Tell her that ramen is the best, Datebane!"

Mikoto just rolled her eyes at her friend. "Dango is and always will be better."

Sakumo grimaced when Kushina's hair started to flow up. "Mah mah, they're both good. No need to get mad." He said trying to diffuse the situation.

Kushina turned angry eyes toward him, but before she said anything they were interrupted by a loud squeal. They all turned their eyes to Kida, the baby had a huge toothless grin on her face as she made grabby hands at Kushina.

Kida stared lovingly up at the current nine tail Jinchuriki. Her favorite female character! Kushina eyed her with the same wary look that Kemono gave her. What was up with people being afraid of her? She just wanted love! Being rejected by her two favorite characters in the span of a few seconds, she started crying.

"Ah geez! Kida, don't cry!" Tsume picked up the weeping baby and rocked her, giving her friend a dirty look. "Kida doesn't cry! How did you make her cry?!"

The Uzumaki started to panic "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I don't even know what I did!" She held her hands up in apology.

Sakumo chuckled. Shaking his head, he greeted Mikoto as she took a seat next to him. "How have you been, Mikoto?"

The Uchiha teen sighed. "As I try to focus on my upcoming Jonin tests, my parents and the clan continue to pressure me to marry."

Sakumo looked at her with sympathy. "Ah so the same as always, huh?" As one of the rare Uchiha females to unlock the Sharingan, she was under pressure to marry someone strong. He did his best to shield her from it by taking her on missions and having her constantly in team training but he'd been on paternity for the last 2 months. This was the first team meeting they have had since Kakashi was born.

Delighted giggling brought his attention back to his other students. He let out a barked laugh when he took in the scene. Kushina was holding the young Inuzuka pup in her arms, a look of utter fear in her eyes as the child played with her red hair.

'She was in paradise.' Kida thought as she nuzzled her cheek against the Jinchuriki's flack jacket. 'She smells nice too.' She sighed happily, she could spend all day cuddling.

"That's enough of that!" She was snatched away by her sister. Kida rolled her eyes at the jealous look on Tsume's face. She reached up and patted her cheek in reassurance making the teen melt and nuzzle her.

Kida Observed the new additions to their little get together. They were both at about the same level as her sister, but she could see major differences. Tsume had high STR and AGI with high HP, Mikoto had high INT and AGI but her HP was lower but her CP was higher than Tsume's, and then there was Kushina. She had high everything. Her HP, STR, VIT, AGI and WIS were the highest of the three girls. And her CP was even higher than Sakumos. That girl was a true powerhouse.

Kida frowned in thought. From what she has seen and remembers of the Inuzuka, Taijutsu was gonna be her strength. She was gonna have high HP, STR, VIT and AGI so she would focus on becoming a speed demon. But she didn't want to be a one trick pony, or ninja in this case.

Which means Kida couldn't focus on just her family's taijutsu. The Inuzuka clan fighting style would be her main mode of attack of course, but she'll have to find something to complement it. Not weapons, as that would get in the way, but definitely some jutsu. Maybe a few long distance ones and a strong up close one in case of a too strong enemy gets close, definitely a defensive one. Now that she thought about it her primary affinity is earth, which was the best for defense.

So she could make her own quests? Good to know. She even got a WIS point out of it. Was it because she was thinking of her future?

Definitely taking advantage of this, Kida thought with a feral grin.

Half an hour later she ended up making 4 long term quests and a short term one.

Kida yawned and squirmed a bit till she was comfortable in her sisters arms. She was getting sleepy and since she already Observed everything within sight she might as well nap.

She woke up gasping for air, there was something heavy and wet on her chest.

Shitshitshitshit! She had the Suffocating status. She looked at what was killing her and sweatdropped. 'You've got to be kidding me!' She thought as she pushed at the sleeping drooling Kakashi trying to get him off her. It took her a bit of pushing and kicking 'Why is he so heavy!?', but she thankfully was able to roll the boy off her chest.

She raised a brow as the baby continued to sleep 'he sleeps like the dead.' Kida looked around and frowned. Being a baby was really weird, she falls asleep at a park and suddenly she wakes up in her living room. She glared when her eyes landed on the sleeping Kemono. She almost died and he was sleeping. Wasn't he supposed to keep an eye on her?

She twitched when she saw how her HP was not filling. That was definitely gonna kill her. She focused on the sounds around her trying to find her family. She heard them outside talking with Sakumo.

She rolled herself to her belly and began working on her crawl. About half an hour later Her family came to get her with Sakumo right behind them.

"There's my little girl." Kida giggled as she was swung up onto her father's arms. "Guess what pup. You're getting a new playmate. Isn't that fun?" She laughed as her father tickled her.

Sakumo chuckled as he picked up his napping son. "It's rare to see you all mushy, Tochio. You usually have a permanent scowl on your face."

Her father chuckled as her mother pulled her out of his arms so she could have a turn cuddling her. "Mah, Kida doesn't need to see my alpha face just yet. She's a good girl." He said as her mother nuzzled her cheek. 'Yes I'm the best'

Sakumo looked at them sadly. "Thank you for your help Tochio, Asuga."

Tochio lost his smile and got a serious look on his face, Kida usually didn't see him look like that. He frowned at Sakumo. "Just make sure you keep your end."

Sakumo nodded before her sister led him out.

Asuga grinned down at her. "Why don't we go get you fed, huh, pup?" Kida nodded absentmindedly, more interested in what the two men had been talking about.

The next day Sakumo arrived just after her father and sister left for the day. He walked through the door carrying a sleepy Kakashi, who was sucking lazyly on a pacifier, looking around at the place. "Good morning!" Sakumo greeted them happily.

"Morning Hatake," Her mother carried her to the living room and settled her in her usual space. Sakumo settled Kakashi next to her. He chuckled when the boy rolled away from her searching hand. She wasn't about to give up on getting cuddles from him.

"So...now what?" He asked Asuga who was staring amusedly at her child.

"Now...we wean you both of each other." She led him to the backyard. "We stay away for half an hour and come back for half an hour then we leave for an hour and we keep doing that till he is used to it." She said as she started to do her stretches.

Sakumo frowned at the thought of leaving his boy. "Is that what you did with Kida?"

Asuga hesitated for a moment before resuming her work. "Kida...never needed it." She frowned, glancing back at the house. "She's an odd one. I tried to do it with her, but she never cried for me. So I let her be for a while and before I knew it a few hours had passed before she started crying. When I went to check on her she wanted food. I fed and changed her and she went back to sleep for a few hours." She rubbed her temple. "At first we were thankful to have a pup who wasn't very fussy, but..."

"What?" Sakumo asked.

"She doesn't cry like pups do. It's more like she's calling us. Actually," Asuga paused in thought. "She only truly cried once and that was a few days ago cause she couldn't roll over." She chuckled, "Kemono's afraid of her now." Sakumo joined in on the laughing.

Kida watched her mother and Sakumo leave before turning her attention back to Kakashi. The boy was eyeing the door his father had slipped out of with a panicked look. Kida started to panic herself when she saw tears start to gather in his eyes.

She quickly rolled over to him making the boy flinch back. He glared at her as she held her hand up as if she was gonna touch him. He yerked away from her and started a fun game of chase, well fun for her. At least he wasn't crying.

Kemono couldn't help, but give the boy a pitying look from behind the couch.

Kida was starting to get dizzy from all the rolling and she could see Kakashi wasn't any better. She stopped needing a break, Kakashi stopped too when he saw he wasn't being chased. He didn't let up his wary look though, he was still tense ready to start running if/when necessary.

Kida grumbled, she was tired of rolling to get around. She kept half an eye on Kakashi and started working on her crawl again. Soon her mother and Sakumo came back. She chuckled when she saw Kakashi's look of relief at his father's appearance.

"Hya, pup. You have fun with the littlest Hatake?" Kida giggled and gurgled at her mother.

Their parents played with them for a while before heading back out the door leaving them alone again.

Kakashi didn't like his dad leaving and ended up crying. Kida twitched at the loud shrill, her sensitive ears taking a hit. It was very very hard to link the badass Kakashi of the show with this diapered banshee.

Kida sighed as she stretched. Once she was as limber as she was gonna get she rolled to the crying boy. He shrieked when he realized how close she was and tried to get away, but it was too late she was already on top of him, literally.

Kida sweatdropped at the notification. Great, just great.

Kida pouted as the boy struggled to get her off him. She rolled off and watched him roll away. She huffed and turned her back to him going back to doing 'push ups'

While Kakashi came over everyday and they saw less and less of Sakumo, something which Kakashi didn't like and she was forced to deal with. Well, she didn't really have to deal with it. She could have let her mother come and take care of him, but as much as he hated her she couldn't handle his miserable teary eyed look. Plus, she needed the quest rep to negate the loss she suffered when annoying-ahem distracted him.

About a month later she gained 1 STR!

She glanced over at Kakashi to see how he was doing. He was on his belly laying as far away as he could in her living room, a wary look still on his face.

She crawled over to him, making his eyes widen. "Gah!" Kida giggled when he tried to mimic her. She moved next to him and used her body to help push him up. It wouldn't be fun to chase him if he couldn't crawl too.

Fuck! She forgot how heavy he was! She grunted as he put most of his weight on her. Once he got his balance she pulled away. As soon as she stopped supporting him he fell onto his face.

Thankfully he didn't start crying again, instead he grabbed on to her and pulled her down with him. She grumbled when her face hit the ground.

She huffed and pulled herself back up. She only needed 1 more VIT to lose the Exhausted status. She let Kakashi use her to prop himself up.

Yay! It didn't take her out of the Disliked status with him but it was a step in the right direction.

Kakashi was finally able to use her to get up to his hands and knees. They crawled together a few steps before Kida broke away, letting Kakashi do his thing. He wobbled for a few steps before falling on his face again. He quickly pushed himself up and continued to wobbly crawl to her. "Gah agh gah! Bah." Once he got the hang of it he turned to her and gave her a predatory look. Kida screamed in laughter as he launched himself at her.

It seemed that Kakashi was very competitive even as a baby. He chased her till he finally 'tackled' her to the ground. She giggled as they rolled on the ground before she pushed him off. She gave him a playful growl and went after him. Kemono jumped up onto the sofa to stay out of the way. They kept up their game until they were both too tired to continue, they ended up falling asleep in the middle of wrestling.

They woke up to their parents cooing. It was dark, time for Kakashi to go home. She waved sleepily at them as they disappeared into the night.

The next day Kida was disappointed when she found out Kakashi wasn't coming over. She ended up spending the day chasing after Kemono instead to pass the time. The poor ninken was now absolutely terrified of the child, but he was part of the Inuzuka pack and, as much as it pained him, he had to encourage her confidence as a hunter and allowed her to catch him a few times.

Kida was chewing on Kemono's ear when she heard angry raised voices. Her father was home and he didn't sound too happy with someone. She let go of his ear and climbed off his back, she crawled over to the door. Her mother kept it ajar so she could hear Kida if she needed her.

Kida pulled the door open and made her way out. Kemono grumbled as he followed the girl. His job was to keep an eye on her, not keep her in the room.

Kida's onesie muffled her movement as she made her way down the hall to the dining room. Her dad was inside sitting at the head of the table with a scowl on his face, across from him was another man she couldn't really see. His scent indicated he was an Inuzuka ninja, a mixture of blood, sooth, steel, and dog.

She pushed her way inside making the men quiet down. Her dad huffed out a laugh as she crawled over to him, he picked her up and settled her on his lap. The tension in the room disappeared for a bit.

She studied the man sitting across from her father, he couldn't be any older than early 20's. He had the typical Inuzuka brown wild spiky hair and had dark purple bruises under his brown eyes from lack of sleep, red fang markings on his cheeks. She raised a brow as she read over his profile. He was actually nineteen and with a decently high level. Inuzuka Haruto was Toshio's younger brother, her uncle. An uncle she had never seen until today.

And he was glaring at her father with pure hate.

Her father sighed. "You don't have a choice in the matter. I've already pulled you out of active duty." 'He can do that?'

Her uncle, Haruto's glare intensified. "You have no right." He snarled at her father. The tension in the room coming back tenfold

Her father glared back at him. "I am the head of the clan, which means that I can. I am the Alpha which means you will obey." He growled back at him, his words final.

Haruto glared down at the table as his shoulders slumped in defeat. "I'll report to Takeo for patrol."

"No," The Alpha said as he ran his hand through Kida's hair. "I have a much more important task for you."

Haruto narrowed his eyes at him in suspicion.

"As you know, Asuga's maternity leave ends soon. Which means Kida will need a new caretaker." Tochio chuckled as his brother's eyes widened in horror. "You will be in charge of teaching Kida the pack way." He stood and carried the amused Kida out leaving Haruto frozen in shock. "Oh yeah," Toshio paused at the entryway. "The Hatake child has been placed in our protection." Kida chuckled at Haruto's pained groan.

Kida and Kakashi were wrestling outside under Harutos' watchful bored eyes. The man, boy really, was not amused with the new arrangement. He had been pulled off ninja duty and was now babysitting.

He sighed as he watched the Hatake brat chase after his niece. He was angry at his brother for doing this to him, but he understood why. He sighed again and closed his eyes. Since Chihiro, his ninken, had died he had been spiralling. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't focus and he loathed to admit that he was mildly suicidal. He almost got his team killed in his recklessness. So yeah, he understood why his brother pulled him and why Lord Third agreed.

Didn't make him any less angry.

His eyes snapped open when he heard an angry shout from the Hatake boy. He chuckled when he saw his niece had pinned down the Hatake.

Kakashi screamed, struggling under Kida as she chewed his cheek. Her gums were starting to ache lately and she had taken to chewing on everything.

Kakashi pushed her off him and crawled away. She happily resumed the chase.

She laughed as she sped up, she grabbed and dragged the annoyed boy down.

That night, after they had been bathed, they were placed in Kida's crib. Kida frowned as her parents turned the lights off and left them for the night. She turned and gave Kakashi a sympathetic look.

He kept sending looks at the door from his spot at the other end of her bed, hoping for his dad to come back and get him. This was the first time he was gonna spend the night and he didn't look happy about it. His lower lip was trembling and tears were gathering at his eyes.

She crawled over to him and bit his cheek, "Gah!" She laughed at his annoyed scream. Thank Kami this crib was well made cause the ensuing fight would have wrecked it.

She managed to tire out the boy and they fell asleep.

A few hours later Kida woke up to sniffling. Kakashi was sitting up looking at the door with tears in his eyes. He was crying quietly.

Kida yawned and crawled over to him. She wrapped her arms around the crying boy and pulled him back down. She fell asleep again to Kakashi crying in her arms.

Sakumo could feel his heart warm as the Inuzuka girl comforted his crying child. He was glad he had accepted the deal with the Inuzuka clan head. He could now go back to active duty knowing his child was in good hands.
