Another month passed, making Ashleigh 5 ½ months pregnant. She hadn't gone to The Burrow since the night they told everyone. No one had come to visit her either, not even Hermione. Hermione refused to go over when Fred invited her so Ashleigh knew what she had to do.

"I'm gonna move back in with my aunt", she told the twins one night during dinner.

"What, why?" George asked.

"Because it's not fair to Fred. Hermione refuses to come over here because I'm here. So I figure it's best if I leave, so she will come over", Ashleigh explained. "My aunt already said it's okay after I told her the situation. She's already got most of my stuff there; I sent it over this afternoon".

"Ashleigh, you don't need to leave. I'm okay going to visit Hermione at her parents or at The Burrow", Fred told her. She shook her head.

"No, it's fine. This is your guys' apartment, I'm not gonna be in the way of your girlfriend coming over to visit you. It's not fair", Ashleigh told them as she cleared the table. "It's not like I'm breaking up with George, I'm just gonna be living with my aunt".

"I don't want you to leave. But if you want to, I can't stop you. But I'll be visiting every night after we close the shop", George told her.

"Thank you for understanding", Ashleigh smiled. "I'll stay tonight, but my aunt is expecting me tomorrow", she told them. They nodded, standing up. They settled themselves in the living room, Ashleigh reading a book while the twins just chatted. Eventually they all went off to bed.

The next afternoon Ashleigh flooed over to her aunts and was welcomed back with open arms. George came with to make sure she'd be alright.

"I'll be fine. Go have your Sunday dinner with your family", Ashleigh told him. He flooed to The Burrow next, not happy with his family. He stayed quiet during dinner that night and they could tell something was wrong.

"George dear, is something wrong?" Molly asked during dessert.

"Mum", Fred said warningly, shaking his head. George looked his mum in the eye.

"Is something wrong?" He mimicked. "Of course something's wrong!"

"George, come on, let's go", Fred urged his brother before he said something he'd regret.

"No. I've held this in for a long time and I've had enough!" He shouted. They all just stared at him; no one had seen this side of him before. "I tell you lot that we're gonna have a new member in our family, that I'm gonna be a dad, and you just disown the mother of my child! Then you go back to normal like nothing was ever said! She's moved back in with her aunt because she feels like she's intruding and preventing any of you from visiting us at home anymore!"

"George-" Molly started but he stopped her.

"No! I'm not gonna sit here and listen to the bullshit you're gonna spout. We love each other and accidents happen. We're dealing with them maturely, why can't you? This is just as much my fault, as it is hers. Why'd you disown her but not me?" They couldn't find anything to say to the now fuming George.

"Are you sure it's even yours?" Molly snapped. George stared at her for a second.

"I can't believe you would even ask that!" He yelled.

"Mum, how could you say or imply such a thing?" Fred asked.

"It happens every day. How do we know that she hasn't slept around?"

"That's it! I promised Ashleigh I wouldn't cut you all out of my life, but I've had enough. Don't expect me around for anymore family gatherings or dinners", George said. "One more thing, you know damn well that dad wouldn't have a problem with this. He'd be happy for us", with that he left The Burrow with no intention of ever returning.

He flooed to Ashleigh's. He didn't want to hurt her anymore but he had to tell her what happened. He explained the whole situation to Ashleigh and she couldn't believe that Molly would say that.

"Believe me, you're the only person that I've ever slept with. Once the baby is born, we can get a paternity test, if it will ease your mind", she told him.

"That's not necessary for me, but my family on the other hand", he sighed.

"Wanna sleep here tonight?" She asked. He nodded and went home to grab pyjamas and let Fred know so he wouldn't get worried. After they got into bed, they talked about names for the baby. They decided to leave the gender a surprise so they had to choose a girl's name and a boy's name.

Two weeks later, George still hadn't talked to his family. Fred had gone over a few times but often left because of the way they acted. He filled George in on anything that they said about him and Ashleigh, and it was never good. George felt lonelier than he ever had. He grew up with all those brothers and his sister, now he didn't have them. He had sent an owl to his second oldest brother Charlie, who was in Romania for work still. He wasn't sure if his mum had filled him in yet or not. George was in his room reading when there was a knock on the door.

"Leave me alone Fred".

"It's not Fred", he heard a deep voice and recognized it immediately. He jumped up and opened the door.

"Charlie, what're you doing here?" He asked. Charlie pulled one of his many baby brothers into a hug.

"I got your owl. What happened between you and the family?" He asked,

"You haven't talked to mum?"

"No. The only owl I've received was yours, telling me how lonely you feel and that you had a falling out with the others. So, what happened?" He asked, sitting on the edge of George's bed.

"Don't get angry until you fully hear me out", he said. Charlie nodded. "Well, Ashleigh's 6 months pregnant", Charlie's face was that of surprise, but he didn't say anything yet. "She found out when she was 3 months. We finally got around to telling her aunt and the family. Her aunt was surprised, but accepted it. Our family on the other hand… They basically disowned her. They haven't talked to her for two months, she ended up moving back in with her aunt because she felt it was unfair that the family wouldn't visit us because she was here", George sighed.

"Go on", Charlie said.

"So a couple weeks ago, I freaked out because they were pretending that nothing was said about having a new baby. I couldn't take it anymore, even Hermione hasn't spoken to Ashleigh and they were best friends. The only one who's fine with it is Fred. Mum then proceeded to ask me if I was sure it was mine. Then I really lost it and I told her she damn well knew that dad would accept it and be happy for Ashleigh and I. I haven't seen or spoken to any of them since then. Fred has and he said whenever we're brought up, nothing good is said", George explained. Charlie sat there for a few minutes absorbing the information.

"You're gonna be a dad?" Was the first thing out of his mouth. George nodded. Charlie grabbed George into another hug. "Congrats baby brother. I'm happy for you. I only hope the rest of the family will come around. I'll try to talk to them for you", Charlie told him.

"Thank you", George smiled weakly.

"I'm gonna be an uncle", Charlie smiled happily.
