As they finally made it out of the towering dark castle with its collapse imminent, Link, Zelda and Navi stopped and turned to watch as the castle walls exploded, stones crumbled and towers collapsed with gargoyle statues falling down left and right.

Then the place really began crumbling and seemed to be imploding as the structure disintegrated and began sinking into the earth, more stones breaking and more explosions occurring as the very force of the crumbling castle made the earth shake and shudder.

Minutes ticked by as the chaotic collapse of Ganondorf's Castle, formerly Hyrule Castle, continued until, finally, it was over, the castle lay in ruin as smoke poured up from the ruins. A calm wind blew over the area as Link and Zelda looked on.

"Its over." Zelda said, feeling relieved, "Its finally over."

Link smiled and looked at the happy princess, then Navi the Fairy spoke.

"Link," Navi said, "I'm very sorry I didn't help you in the battle earlier."

Before any more words could be spoken, a faint banging and booming noise echoed out of the ruins, Zelda gasped and Link stepped forward. "That noise..." The princess said, "What could that be?" Link shook his head, "I don't know, but I'm going to investigate."

Drawing his sword, the green garbed hero and his fairy companion approached the ruins. But as they got closer, they heard a noise and saw that a fire barrier had appeared. Zelda cried out in alarm, more banging from close by.

Then, to everyone's shock, the rubble exploded and a still alive Ganondorf with blank, yellow eyes emerged, floating up in the air and panting. He held up the back of his close-fisted hand, showing that he still had the Triforce of Power.

Ganondorf curled up, yelling as a glowing light surrounded him and then screamed as he unfolded. Link gasped, watching as the Gerudo King transformed from a human looking being into a towering pig-faced beast with yellow eyes and red hair and a burly body.

The monster landed on the ground, standing up straight as swords appeared in its hands. Lightning began exploding in the dark sky, narrowly allowing a glimpse of what the creature that had been Ganondorf looked like as it began swinging its swords left and right.

Link raised the Master Sword, prepared to battle the enemy, but, much to his shock, the beast's swords struck the blade so hard, the weapon flew out of his hands and flew through the air and spun like a boomerang before it landed outside the arena right by a surprised Zelda.

Unsure of what to do, Link looked up at the imposing beast before him. "There's no way he's gonna hold me back again," Navi said, "This time, we fight together." Link nodded, "I agree, its great to have you in this last big battle, Navi."

The giant demonic beast took a step forward, raised its head to the sky and let out an intimidating roar as more lightning flashed before Ganon looked down at Link, who had an idea click in his mind and he drew his backup weapon: The Biggoron Sword.

As more lightning flashed in the sky, Ganon raised his swords, ready to strike, yet Link ducked out of the way of the gigantic blades, rolling between his legs and right behind him as he looked for a weakness. He spotted the beast's wagging tail, a curious idea forming in his subconscious.

"HIIIYAH!" Link lunged and sliced at the tail with the Biggoron sword, cutting off a small chunk of Ganon's tail and causing the beast to howl in pain. The monster wheeled around and attempted to attack again with Link flipping out of the way to avoid getting hurt.

Ganon marched straight for Link, hatred blazing in his blank and demonic eyes, whatever humanity Ganondorf had left was no more as it had been replaced by both dark ambition and immense hatred for the hero who stood in his way of dominating Hyrule.

The beast raised a sword, attempting to cut Link down again, the grown-up forest boy sidestepped to avoid the incoming attack, ducked between the legs and struck at the tail, causing Ganon more pain as the beast howled with fury and its attacks became more ferocious.

Link ducked between the legs to avoid another sword slice, attempting to go for the tail again, only for Ganon to quickly wheel around every time and try to hit the Hero of Time, who always evaded the incoming attacks and saved his own skin.

"Watch out!" Navi warned, Link pressed his luck as he dodged one of Ganon's sword swings only to get hit big the handle of the beast's weapons, he crashed into a pile of rubble, groaning as the demonic overlord howled and charged for him. Link recovered and dodged a sword attack.

Drawing his bow, Link prepped a Light Arrow and fired, aiming at the Demon King of Evil's face as he did so. The sacred energy-filled arrow hit him right between the eyes, hurting Ganon even more as he collapsed to the ground and the fire arena began to disperse.

"Link, the Master Sword's over here, hurry up!" Zelda cried, "Destroy Ganon with the Sacred Blade!" Hearing his princess' words, Link dashed over to where the Master Sword lay, putting away the Biggoron Sword as he reacquired the Blade of Evil's Bane.

He rushed back to Ganon and the fire barrier reignited as the beast began to recover and get to its feet, Link ran up just in time and attacked the tail with the Master Sword, cutting off the tip of the beast's tail and drawing green blood from the beast at last.

Ganon shot to his hooved feet, howling in pain and wheeled around to face Link once again, more hatred and rage blazing within. Just before he could attack again, he received another Light Arrow to the face that stunned him long enough to get stabbed in the tail... again!

Link attacked the legs of the beast and Ganon came toppling down, gasping and panting as the hero watched. Before the King of Evil could move, a beam of light came in from the right and stunned Ganon, holding him in place as Link turned to see the source of the light.

"I'm using my power to hold the Evil King." Zelda said, holding up her hands as power rushed through her, "Use the sacred sword to finish him." Using her powers took a toll on her as Zelda stopped and began panting for breath.

He heard a noise and noticed a glowing light out of the corner of his eyes, Link saw that the Master Sword's blade was gleaming with energy. He looked at Ganon and knew what to do, the hero advanced towards him and sliced at his head.

Green blood poured forth as Link did his task and more green blood was drawn when the Hero of Time plunged the blade of the Master Sword through Ganon's skull, right between the eyes… and just like that, the beast was defeated. Link withdrew and Ganon rose, staggering in pain.

More lightning flashed in the sky as the beast flailed all around, roaring and shrieking. "SIX SAGES NOW!" Zelda called, she raised her hands in the air and an orb of light appeared, she knelt down and watched as the task began to carry out.

In the Chamber of the Sages, Rauru proclaimed in a booming voice, "Ancient Creators of Hyrule, let us banish this evil incarnate to the Evil Realm." Darunia, Impa, Saria, Nabooru and Ruto appeared, putting their Sage powers to work as lights glowed.

Within seconds, a white void had appeared, sucking in the air in the area and, soon, Ganon himself. There was a blinding light as the Sages did their part, soon it was over. The task was complete and the battle was truly done.

In the void of the Sacred Realm, Ganon reverted from his beast form back into the human form of Ganondorf, his yellow eyes with pupils once again but full of rage more so than ever before as he snarled angrily. "YOU..." He yelled.

"CURSE YOU, SAGES!" Ganondorf ranted, "CURSE YOU, ZELDA! CURSE YOU, LINK! SOMEDAY WHEN THIS SEAL IS BROKEN, THAT IS WHEN I WILL EXTERMINATE YOUR DESCENDANTS, AS LONG AS THE TRIFORCE OF POWER IS IN MY HAND!"

Afterwards, Ganondorf was silent as he drifted through the nothingness of his prison in the Sacred Realm as he vowed his revenge, vowing to break the seal and return to Hyrule to destroy all who had opposed him, take the Triforce and finally rule over the world at last.
