The Yaoyorozus were rich enough to impress the Todorokis, and the Todorokis were powerful enough to impress the Yaoyorozus.

It was, on the whole, a fine and respectable match.

The children made a fine pair at formal events, both impeccable in evening dress; he in a perfectly ironed suit and neatly combed hair, and she in an elegant black gown that fell gracefully to sweep the ground and her long waves flowing over her shoulders.

But Shoto and Momo made a fine pair too; lounging in his dorm room in their pajamas and drinking her matcha tea and not giving a thought to backgrounds, money, prestige, or anything else as they chatted and laughed over the day's events, new training and special moves, a new piece Momo was practicing for the piano, or simply sitting in silence that invariably seemed to end in cuddling and Momo falling asleep on Shoto, the side of which depending on the weather.

They were always in the top five of the class, always stellar in hero training, and when Shoto and Creati went into work, they were adored by the public.

Most notably the press; when the two were caught together at a high-class restaurant, when Mr. Todoroki was Miss Yaoyorozu's escort to one of Mrs. Yaoyorozu's renowned charity balls, when Creati and Sho were found patrolling together even though they weren't part of the same hero agency…

So it seemed only natural when the engagement was announced. A prince for a princess- beauty, intelligence, money, power in a couple. A fitting son-in-law for the Yaoyorozu's money, a fitting daughter-in-law for the Todoroki's power. A half-smile graced the to-be-groom's face, a brilliant stone-encrusted ring graced the bride-to-be's finger.

The wedding was lavish; planned out entirely y the parents. Honor, wealth, and tradition floated from every surface and movement.

Except, most notably, when Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu Shoto walked together out of the wedding hall.
