For their first date, he did try from what she can tell, to keep it as low-profile and simple as it can be. However the limo, that was something she had to send him away when she saw him arriving in it from their arranged location.
Thought after that time, Kyoya is a quick learner in her preference and tried to follow in that line. When there was a first, there was the next few dates that he was slowly starting to get used to and look forward to. However when they are in school, both behaved as if they are strangers.
And soon the year came to an end and they both had their future already planned out, but for now, they will both be headed to two different directions and country to continue on with their studies. It was to be expected, something that was already foresaw but then that would means that they will no longer be able to meet up.
"Well it is a good thing we have such advance technology," she remarked dryly, glancing at him from across the table as she picked on her plate of finger food that comes with their high-tea set.
He was still somewhat displease at how nonchalant she can be, but did not say a thing about it as he crossed his legs and watches her from where he sat.
"I did say before that this would need to withstand many obstacles, are you still up for this? Or will this be the end of the line?"
That was also the last time that they met up on dates, there was a pause in communication, until the day that Kagome left for the airport, and he surprises her there. It was not per say surprising to her, but something that she had a hunch about, and maybe some expectations and hope from her end.
"I'll try to visit you when possible, contact me when you have arrived," and a list of other things that he requested of her as he walked her to the entrance of the immigration.
His antics put a smile upon her face, lightening the mood, it was cute, his behaviour, unlike those that she had dated in the past.
"Alright I will be going in now, but I've one thing I want you to think about, will you still want me even if I have a child and was once married?"
He was stunned next by what she asked of him, was she testing him, if she is why that serious look on her face that he could find a sliver of a lie in it that tells him otherwise. His behaviour was stiff, the way he raised a hand to wave goodbye from where he stood, his face a blank after her 'theoretical' question.
Once she was pass immigration, Kagome turned to look at him one last time, raising her hand in goodbye, maybe her last as well to him should he chose this to be the last.
Though her words may have left him thinking a little too much on how believable her words are. And from his understanding of her so far, there was no reason for her to lie to it. Then now the question is, why these information not shows up in his search on her in the past. How far her power does reaches to, and for someone so young as to have a child, it was too…unbelievable.
Yet despite of that, he estimated her time of arrival in the United States, and sent a text to her asking her of her arrival and how she was settling in, or to contact him once she was settled in.
