I've got a bad feeling about this.

The whole entire situation around her was just too sketchy for her taste. Sure seeing the spectacle of one of Terry's and Nash's fights breaking out inside of this very room was a daily occurrence. She couldn't remember the last time a fight didn't break out between the two whenever they were paired up in something. Just like this. Seriously how stupid could their gym teacher be in pairing them up in their little wrestling sparring matches!? Anyone that isn't blind could see it is a bad idea but would he listen? Nope instead he would just choose them and have them line up across from each other.

But this time though something was different. Much different. No looks of hatred being directed each other's way. Sure Nash has that stupid cocky grin across his face as though knowing he already has the match won. Better yet knowing if anything were to happen the blame would solely fall upon Terry and speaking of Terry his reaction is what concerns her the most. The way he just grins back at Nash with his left fist pressed against the mat just waiting for the teacher's signal. This look she has never seen across his face before and she knew the reason why. It wasn't to impress Dana. An ex girlfriend that watches from the sidelines with interest along with Chelsea and a small group of girls. No, she is far from his mind. The reason for this look across his face is because of the girl standing to her right.

Because of Melanie Walker that just watches silently with her arms crossed over her chest and a similar grin across her own face. Whatever was going on here she wasn't sure if she ever wanted to know. Ever since this blonde's arrival here she has seen a shift of power in almost every single fashion. Dana's influence no longer was able to reach him. Hell from the looks of it she was now just another face in the crowd. A far cry from how the way things used to be when he would do anything to impress her. But nothing could beat what she has been gathering from their interactions. How it seems Mr Wayne no longer has a stranglehold on his life. Though at times he has shown up tired and dead on his feet most of the time it actually looked like he had a good night of sleep. A huge relief to see whenever she would see him in the morning and she has the blonde to her right to thank for it.

A blonde with a rather unique personality. Could go from friendly to hostile within a blink of an eye but she couldn't blame her. With her past history and how she spends some of her nights it would drive her crazy to. A truly good influence on Terry in most areas but she has a feeling this wasn't one of those times she will be praising her. No from the look on her face and the way she had shared a quick hushed conversation with him before he went off to the mats it could only mean one thing and one thing only. Something bad was about to happen. Something memorable but she would have to wait along with the rest of the crowd though it kills her inside not knowing what was spoken between them a short time ago. Maybe it is in her nature to know everything that is going on around her? There was a reason why they call her Max the whizz around these parts.

" On my mark."

And on que with a baited breath Maxine watches in silence along with Melanie as Terry and Nash get down into position with neither daring to look away from each other with only the gym teacher separating them. A teacher that looks towards both of his students to get confirming nods before with a couple of steps back he blows loudly on the whistle causing the match to begin. Cause for a real shocker. For Nash to shoot forward while Terry just remains where he is making everyone's eyes go wide.

But nothing could beat what happens next. Out of all of the things that could have happened this was the last thing she expected to see. Never had she thought she would see Terry just snap up to his feet and with one swift move grab a hold of Nash's uniform and toss him away like a rag doll using the larger boy's momentum against him. A rather popular boy that lands down face first on the mats causing gasps to be heard all around before in a fit of rage he smashes his fists down on the mat and snaps back to his feet with blazing eyes. With this fire in his eyes before he snaps around and charges at Terry like a bull seeing red. A bull that doesn't make his opponent waiver. Instead another unlikely event happens. One that has never been seen before. Not by a student here. Not by any student anywhere. Where Terry learned to move like that was anyone's best guess except for her and Melanie but the results still remain the same. The way he just sidesteps slightly bringing his leg behind Nash's own before in a swift move he merely hip tosses the larger boy down to the mats with a loud thud and puts him into a side headlock.

This submission hold that nobody has ever seen anybody put on Nash before. A realization that can be seen on the boy's face as he fights to get out of the hold with many shocked faces looking on before chatter picks up when the unthinkable happens. The mighty and undefeated Nash taps out causing the gym teacher to quickly rush forward to his aid. A teacher from the look on his face shows panic. Not only for this school wrestling star but also for his own health and many knew why. It was no secret the history Terry and Nash shared and this gym teacher was no different. From the look on his face he was expecting a fight from Terry to release the hold but to the shock of everyone that doesn't happen. Instead Terry merely releases the hold before the teacher can reach them causing Nash to scoot away gasping for breath with disbelieved eyes before with a quick nod and everyone watching him slowly make his way towards his awaiting girlfriend and best friend.

A girlfriend that just grins his way as he approaches before he comes to a stop in front of her making her grin only widen and Maxine already had a good feeling why that was. Terry already put on one show. Now it was time for Melanie to do the same and she isn't wrong. Not by a long shot when the blonde wraps her arms around the back of Terry's neck and brings him into a deep kiss for everyone to see. More importantly for Dana to see. The ex girlfriend that stares at her with a death glare before stomping away towards the girl's locker room.

Something that doesn't go unnoticed by Melanie as she cracks open an eye and can't help but smile into the kiss before she breaks away to send a beaming smile Terry's way.

" You know i'll never get tired of you doing that."

Smiling brightly at his words shaking her head slightly gently Melanie threads her fingers through his hair as she brings her forehead down to gently rest against Terry's own.

" I'll have to keep that in mind."

Staring into each other's eyes not caring about the rest of the world around them leaning down for another kiss just as he is about to make contact an index finger suddenly pressed against his lips brings his advance to a halt. The left index finger belonging to Melanie that just shakes her head with a teasing smile.

" Uh uh. First things first. You desperately need a shower."

Unable to keep her eyes from going wide not even bothering to hide it as a giggle escapes her lips earning Terry's attention instantly bringing her hand up to cover her mouth despite her eyes still laughing at him seeing nothing but Melanie doing the same out of the corner of her eye. A blonde that suddenly dips down and whispers something into his ear that she can't quite make out. Whatever was whispered as anyone's best guess but one thing was certain. From the way Terry grins from hearing it had to be good. he leaves the gymnasium heading in the direction of the boy's locker room with everyone watching his retreating form.

" What did you say to him?"

Looking away from her retreating boyfriend to glance at her side finding Maxine's questionable eyes on her that keep glancing back between her and Terry's retreating form taking a few moments to debate internally on what to tell her coming up with a solution Melanie sends a grin her way.

" That's for me to know and you to figure out. If you want a hint though. Let's just say there is another thing we need to cross off our bucket list."

With one quick wink pushing herself off the wall turning on her heels not caring in the slightest who sees her doing so without paying Maxine another glance Melanie makes her way out of the gymnasium heading in the same direction as Terry. Such a route that makes Maxine's eyes go wide as saucers and immediately seek out the gym teacher to see if he had seen her going that way only to find him kneeling down next to the still shell shocked Nash with his back turned towards them. A saving grace that makes her sign in relief before paying one last glance towards the corner of the boy's locker room finding Melanie nowhere in sight.

That girl is serious trouble.

Pushing off the wall heading across the gymnasium in the opposite direction in the direction of the girl's locker room unable to help herself a smirk comes across Maxine's face.
