Inuyasha crossover Ouran High School Host Club

Chapter 15

Since that night, Kyoya was being more aggressive in being a 'third wheel' or it seem with how he would appear out of nowhere whenever she is there. And that made her decide to take a time off elsewhere to be far away, on a very impromptu action of hers.

"You're running away," Shippo said to her as they sat in the lounge awaiting for their flight.

Kagome glanced at him from the corner of her eyes, and said nothing as she read a book whilst waiting for their turn to board.

And things went according to her plan, no longer does she see Kyoya Ootori appearing whenever, allowing her to return to the regularities in life that she is used to, even when she had gotten used to his reappearance.

"I'm fine with how things are now, there will always be someone else who would walk in and try to sweep me off my feet," she commented, not once glancing up from her book as she looked at the words without reading it.

When it was their turn to board, she looked at her surrounding before going the growing line for boarding. They could have taken a private jet, but she did not, and waited in line for her turn before walking through the pathway that lead to her flight with Shippo by her side.

They are finally going back to Japan again, this time though, she is not sure how long she will be here before they fly on off to the next place, or wherever their business will take her.

"Apparently there's news," Shippo told her once they are in the air and the pilot had turned off the safety sign.

Kagome made no indication that she was not listening as she plugged in her headpieces and settling it around her neck as she went through her bag to find for whatever it is that she was looking for.

"Looks like young Ootori might have done it now," Shippo continued as he glanced at a rather not interested, nor listening Kagome.

"Young Mr Ootori has decline any relations to his family with the successful start-up of his new business, and the Ootori family have no comments to it."

"Hmm…Good for him," with that, she place her headphone to her ears and sat herself back into her seat comfortably to search for a movie to watch during her flight.

It was about the end of dinner service onboard of the flight as Kagome hummed in appreciation of something sweet on her tongue with their chocolate pudding like cake provided. When her movie ended and she was about to start her search for the next one, Kagome had gotten up to leave her seat as she glanced over at Shippo who was heads down and typing away on something.

Though what she had not expected when she returned, was a note at her seat. She looked towards Shippo with a frown on her face but said nothing when she saw him still typing away like when she had left him, and took up the note to read it as she took her seat.

Bing…

The sound for the safety sign was turned on, as Kagome shifted to find her safety belt, leaving the note by the tiny alcove that her mini 'cabin' has, Kagome strapped herself down comfortably. She gave the note a once over again and kept it.

The lights turned off and her second movie began, with her blanket keeping her safely warmed and her legs tucked beneath of her, she found herself a comfortable position and silently watched the movie at least until she nodded off.

At a point she woke up with an annoyance to her eyes, brightness of some sort was always glaring at her as she turned in her sleep, away from it. It was almost cute to tease her, but he could tell that even she did not like to be disturb in her sleep and he stepped away from her to returned to his seat, only leaving another note by her where it will not fall and within her sight when she awaken.

"She'll not be pleased with this later."

"I'm sure that she will not," he replied with a soft smile, looking at her sleeping form.

"Good luck."

"Thank you."
