Ch 28 Rescue
"So, Lucius has been captured and currently being interrogated as we speak, did I get right?" Kadoc asks Narcissa. She nods as she was given a handkerchief by Anastasia. Mashu looks at Kadoc who is thinking about what to do, should he increase defenses in the outpost or should he keep this outpost safe or evacuate everyone back to Chaldea. He was conflicted about what to do, he was never given this sort of task before, he turns to Mashu for advice.
She noticed this and understood what going on with him, "Kadoc-san, we should try to rescue Lucius-sama from Voldemort's based on operations." She suggested to the acting director. He likes this idea and turns to the guest. "I would send a team to infiltrate the dark lord's base and get Lucius out." he rescued her. Narcissa has hope in her eyes so did Draco, they knew to ally with Chaldea was the right choice. "Thank you director Kadoc." He smiled at them "It's what Ritsuka will do." he said to them. "I do have a question, where is Ritsuka anyways?" Ginny asked him.
"Senpai is unwell and needs rest so he's in his room." Mashu told the group before Hermione ask her something as well, "Do you know where Neville and Luna are, I saw them leaving with Zelretch after the second task." "Oh! Neville-kun is under the head of the Medical facility as her apprentice, he's in the medical bay as of right now and for Luna she and her father are in the command room doing some maintenance on the paper moon." She told the wizards, Ginny and Hermione were unfamiliar with the words "Paper moon? What's that?" Daphne explains to the two of the technologies that Chaldea has possessed in the outpost as Kadoc walk outside.
"Alter Ego," he called for the servant who appears before him. "Yeeeesssss, acting Director?" he gave him an insane smile to the former Crypter. "I need you to gather a team of servants and infiltrate Voldemort's base of operation, kill those who stand in your way." He orders the insane servant. "But of course, acting director I will need a few of master's servants to assist me. Oh, that reminds me, Kotarou has delivered something on your desk. You might find it interesting if I do say so myself." He said as he left to gather a few servants for the rescue mission. Kadoc went into the director's office and found a book with a hole like something stab it. He picks it up and activates his circuits and analysis, once he did, he felt something that does not belong. He analysis it further and caught his interest "Interesting, very interesting."
Malfoy Mansion
Lucius was tortured by his sister-in-law and gain a few scars. He was ashamed for what he revealed, he knew that Severus would use this information and gives it to Dumbledore and exploit it and invade Chaldea. Voldemort has left Avery Jr and a few death eaters in his mansion before he left to find a new one. Lucius looks upon the night sky thinking if he would rescue; but deep down he knows Mages and how they care only for themselves.
He remembers when he was first introduced to magecraft and how strict his father is when teaching. He was always scolded at how imperfect his spells and experiments are until Marisbury took the time to tutor him and making his craft acceptable to the Animusphere's name. When he received word that both his older brother and niece died, he was devastated, then he heard about Ritsuka and decide to meet him in person. When he did, he was in awe at how kind the young mage is and when he told him his real name it did not change his opinion of him.
Flashback
"Father why are we're at the Mage's Association?" a young Draco asks his father. He looks down at his son "We're just meeting someone, son." The boy looks around in awe of the association and the mages who they passed by. They arrived at Lorelei's office and open it to a messy-haired boy and a girl with violet hair. The Queen of the Clocktower looks away from the boy making him turn to see where she is looking. "Ah, Mr. Animusphere nice to you to make it." She said to the mage.
"Lorelei Barthomeloi the last time I spoke to you is when you informed me that my niece had died during an accident at Chaldea." He greeted her as both he and his son sat down on the couches, he meet eye to eye with the boy as he smiles at him. "Hello Lucius, my name's Ritsuka Fujimaru, Chaldea's final master and here is-" "I am Mashu Kyrielight Senpai's Servant and assistant." She introduces herself to him. "A pleasure, now why did you call me here Lorelei? I am a very busy person." He told the director of the clocktower. She looks at the last of the Animusphere line with a serious look "Lucius, I know this is sudden but you are the last of the Animuspheres line and we need an answer now." she said to him.
Lucius's eye twitches the consent reminders of taking the position of head of the Animuspheres family is getting annoying to him and stressful. "As I said, I can't be head of the Animuspheres because I do not have the family's crest since it was destroyed when Olga-Marie died!" he shouts in anger making Draco flinched at his father's anger. Ritsuka smiles as he gave him something in a glass container. He looks at it and his eyes widen at what it contains "Father, is that!?" Draco asked realizing what it is. He looks at the master "I…we…How?" he asked him he placed his finger on his mouth "That's a secret Mr. Malfoy, for now, let's just say it was a reward from a certain quest from my travels." He smiled.
he is speechless at this but notice something's off about it he looks around the room "Oh! Uh, We have to ask Melvin Weins to repair it though it might take a while to fix." He sheds a tear at the sight he looks at the master who brought this miracle to him "Thank you, Ritsuka the Animusphere is in your debt," he kneels down so did Draco " There's no reason to do that Lucius, it's my way for closure for my failure to save her." He looks at this boy, someone who doesn't have any obligations to him or his family, but he did this miracle, from now one he'll support Ritsuka's goals.
End of Flashback
Lucius smiles at the memory when he first meets Ritsuka for the first time in the cell under his mansion. He stared at the night sky from the barred window and wonder if he is going to be forgotten. A loud explosion started him and went over to the bars. Death eaters were rushing back and forth trying to deal with the situation. "(He's here) he smiles that they are doomed.
Outside
"DAMN IT! WHO GOT THE GALL TO ATTACK OUR LORD'S HOME!" Avery asks, he held his wand to the fog at the entrance ready to kill whoever dare attack. Then a burst of horrible laughter emits from the fog making the death eaters quiver "Hohehehe! Hehe! Hehehehehehehe!" the laughter came ever corner of the room, then a spider-like clock was thrown latching on three death eaters.
"What the bl-"each on exploded before the death eater could finish, then out of the smoke a pale man dress as a clown with a giant pair of scissors came slashing each one of his allies. "YAHOOO! THIS IS FUN!" Avery looks at the strange person in fear as he took down each of them one by one, he laughs maniacally as he kills them one by one.
Then two more figures came out one is a shirtless blonde man, scars and a tattoo with swords in each hand using them as clubs to hit everything, a woman whose breast was showing wielding a lance in one hand and a shield in the other piercing each person she came across and a man whose is similar to the demon but his hair is black and white and has green sharpen nails. "Kill everyone in sight but leave that one on the stairs alive!" he laughs evilly pointing at Avery Jr. he steps away scared of what that demon has a plan for him, "We must kill those…demons!" a death eater said.
"Demons you say. How idiotic!" Caenis laugh thrusting her spear into his head. "HAHAHAHA!" Mephistopheles throw a lot of bombs everywhere exploding the walls. "Berserker take the case and find Lucius." Ashiya Dōman throws a black briefcase at Beowulf who pounds a death eater before catching the case." You got it!" he said and made his way to the dungeons leaving the three servants behind to deal with the rest, Ashiya slowly walks up to Avery Jr with a sinister smile. "Ohoho, you'll play a very crucial role in my master's plan." He said as a pentagram appears underneath the death eater and screams in pain as the onmyouji places a pentagram bran on the wizard's chest.
Beowulf ran through the halls knocking down each death eater in the way, "Damn it, there's no end to them." he finally made his way to the dungeons and saw at least ten death eaters there guarding a cell. "You're outnumbered, face your fate demon!" they raised their wands at the servant thinking he would just surrender, Beowulf dismissed his sword and crack his neck and rolled his shoulder, he grins wide and a fiery spirit lit up in his eyes." I have been itching to use my fist for a while now, LET'S DO THIS!" he lunges at the group punching their faces, they cast multiple of spells at the fighting machine "What the hell? He's taking on the spells!" one said as Beowulf punches his mask making him fall on the floor. Lucius looks through his cell door and saw his rescuer as he was beating up each one of the dark lord's followers. He then threw the briefcase at the cell door breaking it as the amount of force he put into it.
"Hey, blondie, special delivery from master. You know what to do with that thing!" he shouts at the mage. He took the briefcase and opens it the Animsphere's crest was repaired and restored. "He really did it," he activates his magic circuits and preforms the transfer ritual, the crest travels to his arms up to his forehead, all the Animusphere's secrets were now his to access. He looks at the door and raised his hand then a large black sphere form larger than his last one and shot it causing it to hurl to the other side.
He steps out of the cell where dead bodies of his former allies laid there, Beowulf leans on the wall waiting for the new head of the Animuspheres. "Took you long enough mage," he gruff at him. Lucius chuckles "Well transferring a crest to oneself takes a while to perform Beowulf," he chuckles as he was escorted out of the dungeons "Yeah, Yeah, I know how you mages are when performing your art." He said to him. Once out of the dungeons the two saw the lobby is covered with blood and dismembered body parts off death eaters. Lucius then notices that Ashiya is performing a spell on Avery as he let out a horrid cry, the Alter Ego has finished with him as he fell unconscious on the ground. "There mmmuuccchhh better now," he turns to see Lucius and Beowulf standing there. "AH! Beowulf, I see you got Mr. Animusphere out, Caenis is doing a final check for survivors and Mephistopheles is setting up this place to explode." He smiled at the two before both servants appear.
"We do not have time, the seconds we waste here the more danger Ritsuka is," He said as the servant was unmoved by his claim "You don't have to worry, the acting director has prepared for this when your wife came to the base and told him the details." The Lancer said as she dismissed her weapons "Acting Director? What happens to Ritsuka?" he asked them. "Let's just say he swam in cold waters." Mephistopheles snickers. Lucius now understands what he means. "In any case we're ordered to take you back to the outpost. So let's get going." Beowulf said as Ashiya picks up the wizard throwing him over his shoulders as they all leave the mansion. "Mephistopheles, did you?" the Alter Ego ask the Caster, "Oh! Almost forgot," he sang as he pressed a button, as he did the whole mansion blows up and was laughing maniacally as they return to the outpost.
AN; I have a few ideas for the final battle, but it's a bit far. I do have a few ideas but if anyone has some ideas please comment.
AN; Also should I make one chapter where the servants should find the Horcaxs or each chapter for each one?
