Ch 30 The Ring
Narcissa snuck around the woods near Little Hangleton, she was to meet up with her husband Lucius and the four servants that were tasked to rescue him from the Malfoy Mansion. She put on a cloak to hide her face in case that one of the dark lord's followers spot her. A rustle in the trees spooked her she activates her mystic eyes ready to use it on the person who hiding in the bushes. A squirrel came out looking for some nuts before scurrying its way up a tree. "It's just a squirrel," she sighs before turning around. "Hey,"
Caenis said tapping her spear on her shoulder, Narcissa jumps a bit frighten of the Lancer's sudden appearance. "Oh, Lancer. It's just you." She sighs and looks around, "Is everyone with you?" she asks worriedly that Caenis is the only one here without the rest. She sighs "Yeah there here, they're waiting for that old house nearby. Man, just looking at it gives me the creeps." She said as she leads the Narcissa to the abandoned house. After a while of walking they arrived at the Gaunt Shack. There she saw Mephistopheles and Beowulf standing at the front door of the shack, "Is Lucius in there?" She asks the servants, "Hehe, Yes lady Animusphere. He's in there with the Alter Ego." The demon sang playing with his scissors, "Geez can't you be less creepy than that Caster, yeah he's in there with that guy. Don't know what they're doing but you can check it out yourself." Beowulf said leaning on the wall, she nodded and enters the shack.
Caenis, follow suit in case of anything happens she was instructed by Ashiya Dōman and Lucius to take her back to the outpost. Narcissa saw her husband and the servant observing a ring in her husband's hand. "Interesting, I'm sure that he can make use of it," Lucius said handed it over to the Alter Ego, he looks at it and smiled wickedly. "You're quite right, but it's still not enough to power it." He mentions to the magus. "Yes, I suggest handing it over it to Archer at the Research Division to get more insight of this ring." He turns around and saw his wife pouring tears from her eyes. "Narcissa," he ran over to her and hugged her. "I thought you were dead, and…and…" she cries in his arms as Lucius comforts her. "Everything is fine now, now let's go back to the outpost." He smiles as the group heads back to the outpost, in the shadows of the trees a figure was watching them afar, "So there are servants here, so that means there's must be a master around." The mysterious figure said to itself as the servant dematerialize.
Chaldea Outpost
Ritsuka sat up in his bed groaning at the daily checkups by Nightingale, he lets her do it because the last time he refuses he was knocked out and was strapped in the bed as she was doing her routine checkup, he felt a tug on his arm as she draws blood. "Seriously, what's the point of drawing blood when I just had a cold." She looks at her master with a dead look "A cold is a serious thing that causes death, and drawing blood is a necessary measurement for me to check if you have picked up a parasite in the lake." She said as she took the needle out of his arm. He sighs "Nightingale, my fever has gone down since yesterday. You checked, and besides I feel a lot better today," he reasons with her.
The nurse stared at her master before she packs her medical supplies, "Very well master, I can discharge you tomorrow morning, but I will have to daily checkups on you, so your health is acceptable." She said as she leaves for the medical bay, he sighs and looks up at the ceiling. "Senpai," he looks at the door to see Mashu walking in. "Hello Mashu, what can I do for my lovely girlfriend?" he said giving a playful smile, she blush as she hide her face with her iPad. "I…Uh…ahem… Ashiya-dono and the rescue team have successfully resued Director Lucius from his mansion; but they have to pick up something before coming back here." She said Ritsuka nodded "That's good, so Mashu are you going with Kadoc to Hogwarts?" he asked her. She nodded "Yes, Kadoc-san ask me to guide him around Hogwarts since he doesn't quite know the castle yet," she informs her senpai "Alright, take care, Oh! And inform them that I'll be back tomorrow if they ask." He said as Mashu waved bye to him.
Kadoc was waiting at the lobby of the mansion with Anastasia and Mashu for the wizards, "Master Kadoc, is it wise to bring them along. I mean we don't know that the enemy is already there." She said to her former master. He looks at her "What Reines has reported that there's seem to be a spy within the staff one for Dumbledore and one for Voldemort if we play our cards right then the two will reveal themselves." He said as he saw Ginny and Neville walking down talking about their new interest and what skills they have learned from being here. "Oh, Mr. Zemlupus good afternoon sir." Neville said respectfully, Ginny greeted him as well, "Good afternoon you two, hmm, where's Hermione, Draco, Daphne, Astoria, and Luna?" he asked the two when three more walks down the stairs "Right here, director. I swear you are impatient." Draco said coming down to meet him, "Luna said she'll join up later, her father wants her to assist her with maintenance in the outpost, I think she's just avoiding going back to Hogwarts." Astoria jokes as she receives a slap at her back from Daphne. "I swear Astoria if father is here, you'll be reorganizing the books at the library." Daphne scold her sister as she stuck her tongue at her sister. "Sorry I'm late, I was just reading some interesting books at the library," Hermione ran down the stairs almost tripping on the last step.
"I see, everyone's here Kadoc-san." The violet haired girl said as he nodded he turns to everyone, "Remember, Voldemort's spies might be in the castle since Director Lucius was captured we are unsure that information has been leaked," the whispers among themselves before letting Kadoc continue "Since you got involved with Chaldea's main Director you put yourself at risk of harm, as the result you are now under Chaldea's protection from now on instructed by the Director," he pauses for them to catch on. "Now that we're heading back to Hogwarts, I want to be clear that you will not leave out of my sight for your safety, after the champion dinner we'll be heading back here, got it?" he asks as they nod "Got it!" they said in unison, after his speech they left the mansion and head to Hogwarts.
Dumbledore's Office
The order of the Phoenix has been gathered in the headmaster's office to discuss what Severus has discovered when the Dark Lord integrated Lucius Malfoy. "So, what's this about Dumbledore? Is it about Narcissa taking not only the Greengrass's daughters and Draco, but she also took Hermione and Ginny! Merlin, we can't even find the twins!" James exclaims as Molly is ranting in the corner of how Narcissa took her daughter to the Forbidden Forest.
"I know and the ministry is doing in their power to locate them, but this is not the reason that I called you all here." The old wizard said as the room become silent to let him speak. "Severus, if you would," James and Sirius sneer at the Slytherin head as he stood up from his seat. "I have some useful information that the Dark Lord has from Lucius. It seems that Lucius is not a Malfoy but a branch of a Pureblood family that none ever heard of, the Animusphere." By the look on everyone's faces nobody ever heard of the name not even Dumbledore, "Animusphere, it sounds like some astronomer's name." Tonks said. "And that's not the only part, Lucius is a spy for Ritsuka." Their eyes widen at the mention of the Chaldean's name. Both Potters were shocked to find out that one of their sons's in consulting with one of Voldemort's trusted allies. "No wonder Narcissa showed up taking the children," Lily said fitting the pieces together of what she thought it was to take them to Ritsuka so he can use them. Sirius and Remus even though they met him for one time they knew it is because he wants to make sure they are safe for his hands.
"Is there anything else, Severus?" Moody asks him, "Actually there is, I found out there's a ritual for summoning heroes as servants." He informs them, Dumbledore was curious now if he finds out the secret of summoning heroes which means he has an upper hand against Ritsuka. "Is there any information of the ritual?" the headmaster asks his spy, he shook his head, "It seems that the only way to summon them is to use some kind of mineral called Saint Quartz," "So where we can find theses Saint Quartz?" James asked.
"The only place to find this mineral is in Antarctica-"Then we must depart there at once, if we get our hands on it we might able to summon the founders or even the Great Merlin!" James said excitedly before Severus stops him, "What's the matter my boy, if we get this Saint Quartz then we will have an upper hand on Ritsuka in case if he decides to aid the Dark Lord and a to combat his servants." He said. "The only problem is that they're located in a special vault, the vault is located within a UN-funded facility and has fortified defenses, only a master or the director can access it," Severus said to them with a grim tone.
"A United Nations funded facility, tell us what this facility is called?" Dumbledore asked with a sinking feeling in his stomach. Severus gulp "The Chaldea Security Organization and the only person who has access is Ritsuka Fujimaru." once he said hat all hope of having an upper hand is gone, even if they try to manage to force Ritsuka to access the vault they have to deal with his servants and by the looks of it, they will kill them without hesitation. "Albus!" they all look at McGonagall who entered his office. "Minerva what's the matter?" he asked the transfiguration professor. "It's the missing students, they've returned." They gasp at the news. "Is Harry Potter with them?" "No, it's a white-haired man and by my guess, he's with Mr. Fujimaru." she said as they left to see who this mysterious person is, in the corner of the room Charles was hiding under his invisibility cloak listening to the whole conversation, "Saint Quartz uh? I must find out where's the mansion that woman mention."
