Lady sat staring out of one of the windows, shocked. She had been planning to have a nice, long 'talk' with her daughter after the incident from the day before. However, just as she was waking up, she heard a scream erupt from outside. It sounded like Aunt Sarah's. When she ultimately went to investigate, she saw Aunt Sarah and the little boy coming inside. Jim Dear was loading Danielle into his car and he did not look very happy.

She had no idea where her daughter was being taken, but her motherly instincts kept her very worried. She tried to shake it off, telling herself that Jim Dear wouldn't do anything harsh or uncalled for. Then again, she had no clue what her daughter had done wrong.

When she heard the car pulling up, she immediately ran to the nearest window to see what was going on. Her heart dropped immediately dropped when she saw Danielle wearing a muzzle and she looked away. She instantly got flashbacks to when Aunt Sarah unfairly forced one on her. It had been unpleasant and scary, until Tramp came along and found a way to get it off.

When she looked again, she saw Jim putting the muzzle back on, after probably letting her eat and drink. She sat there for a while in thought. What snapped her out of it was the sight of Collette going to talk to her sister.

This was a good thing in her mind. She'd always noticed how protective Collette had been of Danielle in particular. Just then she decided that it might be worth joining the conversation. She trotted off down the stairs and into the kitchen. She completely ignored Jim Dear, who had tried petting her. It wasn't that she was mad at the man, she just wasn't happy with the way he treated her daughter.

As she got out of the dog's door, she saw something most unexpected. Danielle shouting at Collette. Her muzzled daughter then turned away from her other daughter. She watched as Collette walked away sadly.

This was not the way her daughter usually behaved, she decided to give her a stern scolding.

"Danielle!", she yelled her daughters' name angrily.

As she approached her, she heard Tramp fall into step beside her.

Tramp yawned. He tried to get up, but after exhausting himself just trying, he put his head back down and closed his eyes. As much as he hated to admit it, getting out of bed was becoming a herculian task. Normally, he and his Pidge' would sleep half the day away and then she'd help him get up.

She wasn't here this morning. Probably concerned about Danielle. The whole event last night had taken him, much like everyone else, by complete shock. Just then he decided to go see her, but just as soon as he tried getting up, he slumped back down. His leg, which was not completely healed, didn't make matters easier.

As he closed his eyes again, he heard someone creeping softly across the room. His nose identified the someone as Killian, his daughter's boyfriend, probably trying his best not to wake the aging dog.

"Hey kid!", his sudden shout made Killian jump out of his skin, "Help me out over here."

Killian scampered over and helped Tramp up, "I wanna' talk to you about something."

He led a very nervous Killian over to the nearby window and sat down in front of it.

"Sorry 'bout waking you up sir.", Killian said in his shy voice.

"No, no, I was already awake, just couldn't get up. Thanks for that", Tramp said, noting how obviously uncomfortable Killian was around him. He was initially very skeptical and wary of the boy, but warmed up to him after seeing how happy he made Annette. At that moment, he decided to change the topic to Annette.

"So you and Annette are doing good?", he asked casually.

"We're doing great sir.", he responded in a much calmer demeanor.

Tramp smiled at him, "That's good to hear", he straightened up for the next part, "I know that I might have come off a little harsh the first time we met, but that's just because I'm always worrying about Annette, you know?"

Killian seemed comfortable as he said, "I get it sir, I was worried for Annette every second that we were with Azriel."

"Glad to see you're so concerned", he noticed Killian shifting his paws, "Is there something you wanna' ask me?"

"Well, actually yes sir, I wanted to ask if...", he was cut off by a very angry mother's shout.

Tramp gave the boy an apologetic look, "Better go see what's going on, we can talk more later", he hobbled away as fast as he could and without looking back said, "You can drop the formality, call me whatever you want."

When he got outside, he almost tripped trying to catch up with Lady. Surprise registered on his face when he saw his daughter.
