Chapter 1: Round Zero
Once inside the Classroom, Nagisa saw his classmates at their seats and saw two new students, Kouta and Akari. Nagisa decided to walk up to them and greet them "Hey there. Are you two new here?" Nagisa asks.
"Yeah. I'm Kouta Suzuki." Kouta said as he shook Nagisa's hand.
"Nice to meet you Kouta." Nagisa smiled as he saw Akari and recognized her by her eyes "Akari?" Nagisa asks.
"Nagisa?" Akari asks as the two embraced each other, getting a boy with red hair to pull out his phone and take a picture instantly. Nagisa saw the flash and looked at the boy with some annoyance.
"Karma!" Nagisa complained.
"What? It was the perfect picture." Karma said as he and Nagisa laughed a little as a purple haired woman came into the classroom, a woman that Kouta instantly recognized as Rider.
However, Rider's eyes were completely visible, revealing a silverish pink color eyes covered by some reading glasses and Rider was wearing a Black sweater and a pair of jeans with brown shoes.
"Good morning, everyone. I am your new teacher, Ms. Amber. I hope we get along." Rider said, introducing herself as someone named Amber as she bowed to the classroom.
"A new Teacher? This is gonna be interesting." Karma commented as Kouta got up from his seat and pulled Rider out of the room.
Out in the hallway, Kouta was staring at Rider with some discontent "What are you doing here, Rider?" Kouta asks.
"Your aunt said I needed to blend in when i'm with you, so she got me a job as a teacher." Rider answered but Kouta just sighs.
"Just… Don't give away your identity to the enemy." Kouta said as he and Rider went back inside the classroom.
Back in the classroom, Rider was giving a lecture about the era of classical Greece, which she went on and on about different myths and legends and explaining their origin points, but when she saw that classes for the day were drawing to a close, she stopped her lecture for now "Okay, we will continue this tomorrow. But for your homework for tonight, I want you to give me a paragraph on your favorite Greek monument and why it's so important to you." Rider said as the bell rang and the students got up from their chairs and started to go home for the day.
Outside Class E, a girl with pale-skinned with long, straight black hair waited for Kouta, who came with Rider "So where's your servant, Yukiko?" Kouta asks.
"I'm right here!" A disembodied voice said as a man with blue robes appeared behind Yukiko.
"His name is Caster." Yukiko said.
"Caster, Hm?" Akari said behind Kouta, surprising the four as Lancer stood with her.
"So, you're a master too. Well, that's good. That means we need to get Archer of Red and we're good." Kouta said with a confidant smile, leaving Akari confused.
"Why is that good?" Akari asks.
"We're all in a Great Holy Grail. Meaning the three of us masters are on the same team." Kouta explains as Akari knew what he meant by that.
"If that's the case, I already met the master of Archer and his servant. They're in the bush." Akari said as she pointed to the bush where a boy who has black hair with long bangs that cover his eyes. The boy wore the same male school uniform as the rest of the male students.
"Where's your servant?" Yukiko asks as the Archer servant makes their presence known by revealing themselves to be a silver haired woman who had red eyes.
The woman had her hair tied up into a pony-tail by a red ribbon. The woman wore white kimono-like shirt with red lining, brown sash and a sleeve with a Japanese armor pad and the other arm had an arm sleeve with both hands having red gloves. Her pants were baggy and had V shaped holes showing her thighs and the woman was wearing traditional Japanese socks and shoes.
"So… A great Holy Grail War is where we're a team." The boy said.
"That's right, Ryunosuke. And our teacher is my Servant." Kouta said as Rider walked up to them.
"I am Rider of Red." Rider said as she walked towards the others.
"So you're Rider, huh? You don't look tough to me." Karma said as he's walking towards them.
"Karma? You're a master too?" Yukiko asks.
"Yeah. Meet my servant, Berserker." Karma said as a woman appears behind him.
The woman had long beige hair that was in a braided ponytail and had red eyes. She wore a red vested jacket with gold buttons, a black skirt with white pantyhose, and white boots.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Berserker said as she bowed to them.
In town, Nagisa was walking back home with sadness in his eyes but then bumps into a blonde haired woman "Oh, I'm sorry!" Nagisa said as he bowed to her apologetically but she simply smiled.
"No, it's okay. It was an honest mistake. But are you okay?" The woman asks as Nagisa looks at her confused.
"What do you mean?" Nagisa asks.
"You look sad. Is something the matter?" The woman asks as Nagisa thought to himself. Well, I got nothing to lose… He thought.
"Yeah, something is bothering me." Nagisa said as he took the woman to a cafe and sat down with her and explained the situation with his mother "My mom… only cares about what she wants, not what i want. She's controlling me like a puppet." Nagisa said as the woman looked at him, not knowing what to say.
"Sorry. Here I am, spilling my guts to you, even though I don't know you." Nagisa lamented as the woman looked at him but then smiled.
"I may not have experience in your situation, but i can say that you always have a choice for yourself. No one can decide for you. Only yourself." The woman said as she got up from her seat and walked to Nagisa and pats him on the head.
Once their conversation was done, Nagisa continued to walk home but then looked into his bag "Crap. I forgot my notebook back at the classroom." Nagisa said to himself as he rushed back to E class.
As night had fallen, the masters and servants of red had assembled in the classroom "So this is our base of operations, huh?" Karma asks as he looks through the window.
"Just for now." Kouta said as he pulled out a box out of his backpack.
"What's that?" Rei asks.
"It's a little something I got a while back. It's our trump card." Kouta explains as he places it on his desk but then senses a mage coming.
"Someone's coming." Ryunosuke said as Assassin took a fighting position but the door opened to reveal Nagisa.
"What's going on?" Nagisa questioned as Kouta was trying to come up with a cover story until Caster sensed something.
"Caster, what's the matter?" Yukiko asks as an arrow went through the window and was about to hit her in the face but Berserker quickly pinned Yukiko down to protect her.
"What was that?!" Nagisa asks as Archer looks through the window and uses her special ability to see it was another Archer servant attacking from the main campus.
"It's Archer of Black!" Archer of Red said as flames burned in her hand that transformed into a grandiose red bow and fire tipped arrows.
"Archer!? What is going on here!?" Nagisa wanted so many answers but Kouta turned around and grabbed the box and then his wrist "No time to explain!" Kouta said as he took Nagisa to the teacher's room to hide and gave him the box.
"Stay here, and stay quiet!" Kouta said as he left the room that had a magic circle on the floor, which Nagisa looked at with curiosity.
Outside, an army of skeletons were marching towards the Class E building and they were being led by a woman with pink hair. The woman was wearing white clothes with silver armor, white gloves, white boots and had a white tiara on her head. "Let's go, my skeleton warriors! I shall lead us to victory!" The woman said proudly but then some of the skeletons were set aflame by Lancer of Red.
"My apologies, but you must die!" Lancer of Red said as he slashed one of the skeletons head off and began to fight the army of skeletons alongside Archer and Rider of Red.
"Apology not accepted, Lancer of Red!" The woman said as she ran super fast to try and catch the Servants of Red off guard but failed to do so when she was stopped by Caster.
"Never thought i'd see you again." Caster said with a playful smile with the woman looking at him with disgust "So you're the Rider of Black, huh? At least we can settle our debt all those years ago." Caster of Red said as Rider of Black gave him a sadistic smile.
"That we can agree on… Cu Chulainn!" Rider of Black said as she charged at him and began to battle with him with a whip that had materialized in her hand.
"Don't think so!" Caster began to dodge and place runes under Rider of Black's feet and they began to explode like land minds with each step she took.
"You sly fox!" Rider of Black yelled as she jumped to a nearby tree to avoid the magic runes.
"You think i only put my magic runes on the ground, Your majesty!?" Caster of Red said with a smile as Rider of Black looked down and jumped back down as the tree exploded and she began to retreat into the Class E building.
"Oh no, you don't!" Caster of Red yelled as he chased after Rider of Black but was stopped by more of her skeletons "Damn it!" Caster of Red cursed as he began to fight the undead minions.
Inside the Class E building, Assassin of Red was thrown out of the window by more of the skeletons Rider of Black made from the blood that was dripping from her arm "Come on out child. I won't hurt you… much." Rider of Black said as Nagisa dropped the box and broke to reveal a urn made from the Claudius Dynasty.
"Is this how you do it?" Nagisa asked himself as he placed the urn in the middle of the magical circle but before he could say the words to summon a servant, Rider of Black kicked down the door.
"So this is where you were hiding? Well, sadly playtime is over for you." Rider of Black said with a sadistic smile "Any last words?" Rider of Black asks.
"Even though this may be my end. I will find a way to keep on living… I will use my desire like a blade to cut down evil in the name of heaven and I won't stop until my wish is fulfilled!" Nagisa declared.
"A touching speech. A shame it won't help you!" But before Rider of Black can kill Nagisa, the magic circle glowed red and from the circle, a blonde woman with a red dress was summoned in the middle of the circle "Another servant!?" Rider of Black said shockingly as the woman summoned a red sword and charged at her without hesitation.
Outside, The servants or red were doing their best to defeat the skeleton army but they all then saw Rider of Black fighting the summoned servant "A Saber servant?!" Kouta exclaimed as his eyes widened.
"A Saber servant is more than I care to face right now." Rider of Black said as she summoned a carriage pulled by two oxs and she quickly got inside and retreated.
"Come back here, you coward!" Saber yelled but Rider of Black ignored her and rode off into the night as Nagisa came out and walked up to Saber. Nagisa saw that Saber was wearing a red dress with floral design, gold armor boots and her hair was in a braided bun and had emerald green eyes
"Who are you?" Nagisa asks as Saber turned around and looked at him with a smile.
"I am Saber. Your instrument in this Great Holy Grail War. And of course, i must ask…" Saber walked up to Nagisa and looked at him with determination and asks,
"Are you worthy of being my Master?"
