A few days had past since the two aliens had been released and Kara still didn't know what to do with herself, she had all the time in the world and nothing to do with it. Until one day Alex had an idea that would completely shake up their world.
It was a Friday in December when the idea came into Alex's mind, she left work feeling a combination of excitement and worry wondering what would happen if this alien reacted poorly then it would really break her heart, but if she did accept Alex may have something she always wanted.
Alex was just returning from an extra shopping trip, it seemed her new roommate had quite the appetite. She unlocked the door opening it "Hey Kara mind giving me a hand?" She asked curiously as her eyes went wide at the sight of her apartment, more specifically her kitchen, it seemed the super powered alien had decided to try and make something, more than likely a sweet treat, but the new strength she was still becoming accustomed to caused her to break several eggs as soon as she touched them leaving that mess all over the counter, on the floor was plenty of flour which Alex remembered teaching Kara about recently, along with shattered bowls that once held the flour. Seeing the condition of her home made Alex feel a mixture of anger and nervousness, how could she handle this? Alex was her guardian in a way, so did that mean she had to discipline her? If so how, she was of course a super powered alien who also happened to be an 18 year old child, so yes it sure was going to be an interesting day for the pair. "Kara? You around?" She called out curiously noting the sound of movement in the kitchen "I see what you did, I'm not mad just come out." She called out as she neared the kitchen.
Kara had been trying to clean without any real success as the mess was beyond anything she'd ever dealt with before. When the door opened she greeted it with mixed feelings, on one hand she was always happy to see the woman who had basically saved her life and taken her in treating her as family. On the other hand she had wrecked this woman's kitchen so she did expect her to not be happy. When she heard her name being called she gave a sigh, then Alex said she wasn't mad, Kara knew she wouldn't lie and a little bit of the anxiety left her, she slowly peeked her head out "Oh, hey!" She exclaimed moving to stand in front of her smiling sheepishly "I tried to make something sweet… clearly it didn't go well, I guess I don't know my own strength…" she trailed off as she clearly seemed distressed. The look of fear still evident on Kara's face made Alex's heart break, as if she planned to kick her out over something so petty.
Kara was 18, but Alex still viewed her as a kid, what would a parent do to a kid in this situation? Simple, Alex pulled a chair up "Come here, we're going to take care of a little punishment for playing with the kitchen by yourself, you don't know enough about this world to be doing that. Come on let's get this over with." Alex made the decision to discipline her similarly to how her parents did with her, she wasn't sure if it would work but she figured it was worth a try.
Kara meanwhile was still unsure what she was supposed to expect, she'd never experienced a human punishment before, she felt nervous wondering if this might result in Making alex stop being so good to her. With a bit of worry behind her tone she asked "W-what kind of punishment? What are you doing?" She asked as her tone turned curious and shocked as Alex took her arm.
With a heavy heart Alex spoke simple "I'm giving you a spanking, I'm sorry this will be extremely unpleasant but I promise if you take it well we can make cookies together a little later." she explained as she moved Kara to be over her knee, saying this would be unpleasant was an understatement but Alex promised herself she'd make it quick. Without another word she rose her hand SMACK SMACK SMACK SMACK she landed two swift smacks to each cheek noting how Kara seemed shocked bucking up at each one, but she didn't say anything whether it be to beg or argue, she figured ether she was afraid of being kicked out or she felt bad for the mess she'd caused "I need you to remember Kara, this isn't your place, I rent this apartment and you're still new here I need you to think before you do something like this again. Understand?" She asked curiously as her hand continued to spank away on her defenseless bottom.
Kara to her credit took it well, she would whimper lightly as the sting continued to build she began squirming and wiggling around involuntarily but when Alex began lecturing her she tried her best to listen, she heard her question and responded with a nod. She looked back towards Alex a blush on her face as she noticed her pants were down at this point, she'd tried to count how times Alex struck her but she'd far lost count. The fact her panties were now out made this even more unbearable.
When Kara looked back Alex gave an apologetic look "Sorry, I have to do this so the lesson sticks. It's almost over." She promised as she began to connect harder spanks over her panties, which did little to protect her increasingly sore bottom. And soon enough Kara was crying softly over her lap using her hands to cover her eyes trying to dry her tears. After about another minute of this Kara was released "Take this chair to the corner and have a seat, I'll get you when the mess is cleaned up." Alex explained calmly and quietly as Kara seemed ready to make a comment on how long that would take "I know it's going to be a long time but you made the mess now you will take the punishment." She spoke firm even giving her bottom one more smack in the right directions the corner. Once she stood up Kara was quick to follow directions leaving Alex to clean to all the flour, soon the floor was clean and the counters were clean.
Alex turned back towards where the girl still sat, she was constantly fidgeting, unable to stay still which Alex didn't blame her for. With a more gentle voice she spoke out "Okay Kara, you can come out now." She explained before continuing "Now, if you'd like I can teach you about brownies, their a delicious dessert earth has to offer. Or first of course I wouldn't mind giving you a hug, I mean if you need it of cou…" Alex was cut off by Kara speeding over and wrapping her in an embrace, Alex was shocked at how enthusiastic Kara was to hug her after what had just happened.
Kara looked up towards her noting her confusion "We had discipline where I'm from… I know you didn't do it out of hate or anger, and I know I deserved it… I'm sorry for making such a mess, just please don't send me away… I promise I'll behave just please, I have nowhere else to go!" She exclaimed with her tears renewed showing the fear she'd tried her best to keep silent.
Alex was even more shocked at how much weight the bubbly blonde kept on her shoulders, to her knowledge Alex hadn't given any indication she planned on kicking her out but the girl still feared that worse than anything. When Alex saw the pure fear and remorse in her eyes her heart broke for the blonde. She shook her head "I would never kick you to the curb Kara, this is actually a great Segway to the question I returned home ready to ask." She paused and saw the fear disappear and change to curiosity "How would you like to stay, permanently? I was thinking maybe you stay with me, I can help you get acclimated to our world then get you set up with ether school or a job." She explained noting the hope on her face "You know… I've always been attached to the idea of a little sister… I always wanted one but I'm sadly an only child. Maybe that could be y…" once again she was cut off by Kara burying her head in Alex's shoulder, tears brought back once more. "W-what? Why are you crying?" She asked curiously sounding a bit confused.
Kara looked back up with a bright smile "I've lived the past 7 years without hope of a life beyond that cell, and in the span of a few days you've given me a life, a home, and even the offer of being sisters. You have no idea how happy I am! I've always wanted a big sister!" She cried out once more beginning to cry into Alex's shoulder. It seemed Kara was very emotional.
Alex released a sigh of relief that the offer wasn't ridiculous to the alien "So that's a yes I take it?" She asked curiously as Kara gave an enthusiastic nod with a smile brighter than any she'd shown yet(if that were possible). "Good. Now how do you feel about the prospects of taking on my name? Nothing against your birth name, it's just that our world is in a state of constant fluctuation, it's always adapting growing and changing but right now aliens aren't conceived well in most places." She explained honestly noting how the girls face dropped at the idea of her losing her name.
Her name was what tied her to her family, it was her heritage and a gift from her mother and one she had hoped to one day bestow to another. But if it meant having a life where she wasn't looked at like she was a freak, where she wasn't ridiculed and treated like an outcast, Kara Danvers didn't seem to be that bad. She gave a small hesitant nod.
Alex gave a gentle kiss to the top of her head "Now, you've been through a lot today. If you'd like you can go take a rest back in my bed. Or, we could make some brownies?" She asked curiously as Kara's sweet smile returned telling Alex what she wanted "Come on let's get started." She paused and began to take out the correct supplies "First we need to open this." She held up a bag of Brownie mix "Usually is tear it open, but I want you to try using a little less strength." She explained as she held the bag up.
Kara seemed especially wary of the little bag of mix as she began to tear it, she felt proud of herself for getting it open without destroying anything "Next we do eggs, these are a little more sensitive so I'll get them for you." She explained as she gave a single knock against the bowl getting a clean crack so they could pour two eggs in.
Soon enough they'd finished the rest of the preparations and the brownies were in the oven "Wanna known the best part of making brownies?" She asked curiously as Kara's head tilted in wonder. With an inward smile Alex held up the chocolate covered spoon "Have some, it's beyond good." She explained as Kara took a small lick before giving off a cute gasp, Alex handed it to her "All yours." She promised as the girl began greedily eating the chocolate.
She turned to the older girl maintaining a smile "This is really good, thanks, I really appreciate everything you've done so far." She explained with a small bow.
"You know we're sisters now right? That means we're family you don't have to bow like that." She pointed out as Kara blushed brightly red, it became clear to Alex that was custom on her world, when you respected someone you would bow. With a better understanding she returned the bow "Sorry, I forget sometimes you're from another place entirely. Bow if you feel it's what you need to do and I'll do my best to make you feel comfortable." She promised with a smile
Later on the pair enjoyed brownies together before Kara went to try and take a nap, it seemed the day's events had zapped her energy. When Alex went to shut the blinds she could have sworn she saw something, rather someone, out on a building across the way. The person seemed to be staring right through her. And then in a flash they were gone. Were they actually there? Was she imagining things? Alex shook her head shutting the blinds and curtains before moving to her computer deciding to get some work done.
As she typed away on her laptop a nagging feeling popped into her heart, what was it? She'd never felt this before, what could it be? After another second she looked up noting Kara was fidgeting around her bed, it seemed she was having quite the nightmare. Alex wasn't used to being a guardian but she stood and moved back to her taking Kara's hands on one of her own using her other to rub the top of her head "Hey, it's okay, you're safe now." She promised noting the struggling stopped and uncomfortable look on her face left as did Alex's bad feeling. Were they connected? Alex had no idea, she just knew that forever and a day Kara would be her responsibility and she would protect her with her own life. It was strange feeling that way over an alien who could more than likely defend herself. But I'm that moment Alex vowed to always protect her little sister.
