The spa was a peaceful place. It was a place to unwind, and relax. Of course, it consisted of a bathhouse, with a hot tub. The room was white, and steamy, as the bath was bubbling. Emily got into the bath, still wearing her pajamas. Bev at this point, was completely naked. She loved being naked. The only thing that would make it more perfect, is if Ed were there. If Ed was there, they would have their own private bath, to kiss, and have sex.

"Mommy". Emily said, sitting down. "Sweetie, are you feeling better?". Bev asked, gently. Emily still had tears in her eyes. "No". Emily said. "What's wrong, love?". Bev asked, with a kindness to her motherly voice. "I'm scared". Emily said, as tears were still in her eyes. "Why are you scared, honey?". Bev asked, gently. "You, and daddy are gonna die". Emily said, sniffling, a cry was heard from Emily. "Sweetie, nothing will happen to daddy, and I". Bev said, gently. "We will always be safe, together". "Sometimes, with trauma, we tend to be a bit nervous". "You've lost others who were important to you, you don't want to lose anyone else". She spoke softly.

"Yes". Emily said. "It's ok, sweetie". Bev said, kindly. "You and I have a special bond". "We will always be there for one another". "Our love is stronger than anything". "We will always be together, my sweet, sweet girl". "I hope". Emily said. "We will, sweetie". Bev said, gently. "I know you held a special relationship with your families". "It's hard losing someone special".

"My mommy said she'd be with me, in my heart, always". Emily said. "I still talk to her". "I still see her". "Hmm". Bev nodded, understandingly.

"I talk to my birth mom". Emily said. "That's wonderful you talk to her". Bev said, kindly. "She was a special person". "I know it was hard, losing your family". Bev said, in a gentle tone. "You've been so mature, and so understanding throughout this process". "You've always stayed true to yourself". "I love that about you". "You as well, baby boy". Bev tickled Ivanov's cheek. Ivanov drank his almond milk. "A da". Ivanov babbled, in the same manner an infant would. "You both are saints". Bev said, gently.

Ivanov drank from his milk container. He still had on his pajamas. "I love you my sweet boy". Bev said, in a deep, raspy smoker's voice. Her voice was gentle, and motherly. Ivanov sat, he didn't have the mental capacity to respond, unless directly addressed. "Ivanov". Bev said, gently. Ivanov looked up at Bev. "I love you, baby boy". Bev said, brushing Ivanov's cheek.

Emily sat, trying not to cry. "Do you miss birth mom?". Bev asked, gently, stroking Emily's cheek. Emily sniffled. "Yes". she said. "I talk to her". "She's here". "That's good". Bev said, gently. "I know it was hard, sweetie". Emily began to cry. She felt the pain, she felt the hurt from losing her birth mom. She felt the grief that overcame her, the pain that disabled her. "I love you, Emily, baby". Bev said, gently. Emily looked up at Bev as a tear came down her cheek. "You are our greatest gift". Bev said, softly. With a soft, whisper tinge on "t" of gift. "We are so blessed to have you in our lives". Bev kissed Emily's cheek. Bev stretched out, in the water, laying in a shallow part. She brushed Emily's cheek. "You have given us everything". Bev said, gently, as she tussled Emily's stomach. "Oh, Emily". "I love having you". Bev kissed Emily's cheek. Emily looked around, turning her head.

"Daddy and I are getting our vows renewed". Bev said, gently. "What's that?". Emily asked. "Daddy and I got married a long time ago". Bev said, gently, explaining. "When we get married, we make a commitment to be together forever". "Vows are promises we make to one another to be faithful, and kind to each other". "Ok". Emily said. "Mmm, we would like you to be our maid of honor". Bev said, gently. "I don't know what that is". Emily said. "Sweetie, a maid of honor helps the bride in a wedding". Bev said, gently. "Ok". Emily said. "Princess". "Yes, a bride is like a princess". Bev said, kindly. Ivanov played with his fingers. Emily sat, putting her fingers in her mouth. "That's yucky, sweetie". Bev said, gently, lowering Emily's fingers.

"You have made us proud". Bev said, gently. Bev kissed Emily's cheek, as Emily knelt down, praying. Emily felt a light presence, a presence of amazement, a presence of wonder come over her as she prayed. It was as if god's light was shining down over her, protecting her. It was a protective presence that shone over her, drowning out the pain. Emily knew this light, she knew this protection that covered her. She recognized it. Emily then saw a familiar sight, a familiar, kind looking woman that she talked to, that protected her each day, and night. Emily prayed, seeing her birth mother, seeing the woman who had loved her from the very beginning.

"Mom". Emily said, praying, moving up a bit nearer to hug her birth mom. The kind looking woman with brown hair, gentle eyes, and a kind smile held Emily in her arms. She seemed to comfort Emily, as Emily looked up at her. "You have become so strong". Ana, Emily's birth mom, said. "Thank you". Emily said. Physically, it looked like Emily was rocking back, and forth to self soothe. Inside, she sat in her birth mother's arms, becoming one with protection, becoming one with life. Emily felt a happiness come over her, as she sat with her birth mom. She felt as if she was truly safe. For the first time in a long time, she felt safe. She felt secure.

"Never worry". "I am always with you". Ana seemed to say. "We will be together again". Emily smiled through her tears. She had hope. She felt the essence of family, and love come together when she saw her birth mother. She may not have remembered Ana, her birth mother, holding her, when she was born, or putting her to bed, but she did feel her birth mother's presence in her heart, everyday.

Emily felt all of the answers come to her. She finally knew, or had an idea of why she was disabled. She finally knew why she got extra help, and why she went to a special school, instead of an elementary school with big class sizes like her friend, Sailor. It was because she had lost her birth mother. It was because she had lived on the streets, and survived on her own her whole life. Emily was still positive, however. She was 10. She still enjoyed her childhood, and shouldn't feel any negativity until ugly teenhood. Emily felt at home, however. She felt content, and safe.

Her birth mother resonated in her heart, as she prayed. She looked up, feeling relaxed at the spa. "Emily". An ugly, deep, raspy voice said. It belonged to a smoker, and a vain, sinful woman. However, this voice was gentle. Emily opened her eyes, feeling the brush of a fingernail on her cheek. Emily saw Bev brushing her face, gently. "Mommy". Emily said. "Sweetie, are you ok?". Bev asked, gently. "Yes". Emily said. "I was praying". "That's good, love". Bev said, kindly. "Did you talk to your birth mom?". "Yes". Emily said. "Mm, I'm sure it was painful seeing your family pass on". Bev said, gently. Emily looked up at Bev. "my family, do they come back?". Emily asked. "Why did they die?". Tears welled up in her eyes.

"Sweetie, I'm afraid your family, passed on". Bev said, softly, in a motherly tone. "They are up in heaven". "They will always watch over you". Emily felt a deep sadness come over her, as she looked up at Bev. "Sweetie, I'm so sorry these terrible things happened". Bev said, gently. She stroked Emily's cheek. "You have been a hero to your family". "You were a hero to your brothers, and sisters in the orphanage". Bev said, kindly. "I know it's been hard, but, you've been inspirational". "I'm so lucky to have you". "I'm trying". Emily said. "I know I am not smart". "I know I need help". "I want to make you, and daddy proud of me". Bev smiled an understanding smile. She knew Emily was a trier. Emily was responsible, respectful, humble, selfless person who loved helping others. She didn't have the IQ level, or the mental capacity, however. She couldn't read, she couldn't think abstractly, think complex, or solve simple problems. She was disabled.

"Sweetie, we are always proud of you". Bev said, gently. "You have something that is far more important than intelligence". "You're a good person". "Daddy and I are so lucky we adopted you". "Ok". Emily said. Bev tickled Emily's cheek. "Love you, baby girl". "I love you too, mommy". Emily said. "Sweetie, let's get you situated". Bev said, gently. Bev felt some stomach pains that had originated in her uterus. They were tight pains. They felt like she had eaten a bad, food poisoned pizza. That was the sacrifice she made for her kids. That was eating gross pizza. Bev still loved Emily, however, and felt she deserved everything good.

This pain originated, then spread. It wasn't severe pains. It just felt like cramps. "Mmm, sweetie, why don't we drink some almond milk". Bev said, tiredly. Ivanov sat, playing. "Baby boy, would you like some milk?". Bev asked, gently. Ivanov still played.

Soon, a male toad, was seen coming over. It was Ed. He still had on his work clothes. Taking off his clothes, he joined Bev in the Spring. "Hey". he said to Bev, kissing her on the mouth. "Hey". Bev said, in a deep, raspy, voice. "Mmm, this was a surprise". "How did you know we were here?". "I know where you are during the day". Ed said. "This is your favorite spot". "That is true". Bev said. "You don't mind I brought the kids here?". "Not really". Ed said. Emily sat, drinking her milk. "Daddy". She said, looking up at Ed. "Hello, pumpkin". Ed said, gently.

"Are you having fun?". "Yes". Emily said. "Why don't we play with Ivanov in the pool, for a little bit". Ed said, gently. "Ok". Emily said. She went with Ivanov to the pool.

Ed, and Bev gazed at one another, feeling the deep sexual attraction come to. They leaned in close to one another, then kissing. They kissed for a while, as their tongues curled, and they did bring it closer, and closer to one another. Heck, they brought it to another level. They kissed, leaning in, joining their reproductive organs again. They kept joining, as they continued kissing. This feeling of joy, this feeling, this attraction spread to their other reproductive organs. They still kissed, as Bev's vagina, Bev's uterus began tingling. This stomach pain spread, becoming a nuisance again. She still kissed Ed, feeling the penis pressing against her vagina. She felt the tingly feeling spread all over her body, as she kept kissing Ed.

She felt a fuzzy feeling spread, although, she still continued kissing Ed. She loved her husband, and now, unbeknownst to her, (until later) she would undertake a new chapter in her life.

Emily looked back at her parents kissing. She was confused by what was happening, although she continued playing. It was nice for her to know her parents loved one another. They still kept kissing, having sex. Later that night, as they drove back from the spa, Ed put his hand over Bev's, knowing he would always be with her forever. Nothing could separate them. Things would only get more surprising, however.

Later, there was a pregnancy test in the Bighead's master bathroom. It was originally Paula's, although she forgot to pick it up. Bev took off her clothes, readying herself to shower. She was naked now, as she stepped in. The stomach sickness was not going anywhere, and thereby, not improving. Bev stretched a bit, feeling the pain in her uterus. She did shower, however, thinking seductive thoughts. She thought of Rocko, and what it would be like if he was in the shower with her. They would join reproductive organs.

Bev loved being naked, although, there was a stomach pain, a uterus pain she had that wouldn't cease. She stepped out of the shower, feeling particularly tired. Seeing the pregnancy test on the sink, she thought of Paula. "What is this?". She muttered, crossly. She liked Paula, and did think she was a good friend. That was a given. Although, Paula did have a tendency to leave her stuff all over the house when she visited. Usually, she forgot things, and didn't pick them up until later. Paula was quirky like that. Was it mentioned that Paula kept a baboon heart under her pillow? Perhaps not, although, Paula was a bit odd as such.

Bev sat down to pee, although being her old forgetful self, didn't see the pregnancy test still in her hand. She inadvertently peed on it. "Ugh!". Bev grimaced upon feeling the stick covered in pee. "Disgusting". She went to wipe it off, although as it registered, there was a green plus sign on it. "Oh dear". Bev said, surprised. She was shocked, although a sort of happiness rose about in her. Bev was perplexed to see there was a chance she could be pregnant. Though, it was true. How did this happen? She and Ed did have sex a lot, and Ed did have a high sex drive. Bev was addicted to sex to the point where she and Ed did it several times a day, and night.

Bev couldn't believe it. Pregnant. She would go through the process all over again. The signs were there, and the signs were clear. She was having her period on a monthly basis, although this month her period was missed. She was having stomach pains that originated in her uterus. She did have headaches. Now was a weird time. Bev put the pregnancy test down, smiling, gladly. Now all that was left, was to tell Ed. Bev felt a pain arise in her stomach once more as she put her silk, negligee on. She may've been 55, although she wasn't too old to have a baby again.

That night, Emily sat down, waiting for her mom and her to make dinner together. Emily didn't see her parents anywhere. She did hear whispering, and an excited cheer, as well as a hug. "Mommy". Emily said, holding her Barbie doll close to her. She got up, going to see her parents. She loved her parents. Ed came out of the bedroom, rubbing Emily's head. "Pumpkin, are you playing?". Ed said, gently. "Daddy, can we have stuffing?". Emily asked. "We'll have to see what mommy says". Ed said, finding it hard to stay serious, and get a smile off of his face after hearing the news.

"Emily, sweetheart". Bev said, kindly, as Emily stood, holding her barbie doll. "How are you, are you ready for dinner?". Bev asked. "Mommy, can we have stuffing?". Emily asked. "Of course, love". Bev said, gently. Bev kissed Emily's cheek. "I love you so much, baby girl". Bev stroked Emily's cheek. Bev seemed really happy tonight for some reason. Cheerily, Bev got her pot out, with the lid, some butter, and some chicken broth. She put 2 cups of chicken broth in the pot, as well as some butter, and turned the stove on. Emily stood by to help. "Mommy, can I help?". Emily asked. "This is too hot, sweetie". Bev said, gently. "How about we set the table when everybody's ready". "Ok". Emily said. "Thank you so much, love". "You are so helpful". Bev swooned, stroking Emily's cheek.

Emily stood by, watching the stuffing cook, as she held her Barbie doll. Ed came over, kissing Bev on the lips. "I love you, babe". He said, happily. "Love you as well". Bev said, winking seductively at him. Emily watched her parents kissing. It was nice for her to know, and see that her adoptive parents loved each other very much. "Love, would you like some chocolate almond milk to have while you wait?". Bev asked, gently. "Yes, please". Emily said, playing with her barbie doll. The barbie doll represented Emily looking up to female role models, and discovering the essence of the true girl, and woman. Emily began singing, as she played with her barbie doll. She was pretending the Barbie doll was a famous popstar, Pink, or Britney Spears, and she was singing one of their songs.

Emily's voice was beautiful. She had her own way of connecting notes, harmonizing, changing keys when the middle of the song called for it, and keeping with refrains, and verses in songs. Bev swooned over Emily, and her singing voice. Emily truly was a beautiful little girl. Soon, she would be the role model to a younger sibling. The younger sibling would look up to her, her kindness, her selflessness, her talent, and admire her. Of course, if the younger sibling was neurotypical, they would be able to help Emily here, and there, although they would be very close to Emily.

"Your singing voice is beautiful, sweetie". Bev said, gently. "I love hearing you sing". "Thank you, mommy". Emily said. "Mr. Dupette is a talent agent, and manager". Ed said. "I think he could get Emily's singing career off the ground". "Of course, they would be small performances at local areas, nothing too harsh, but she'd be able to make something of it". "Perhaps". Bev said. Ed took out his video recorder, recording Emily singing. Emily didn't know he was doing this. Emily still sang. "So talented". Ed said, gently. Ed swooned as well. Emily stopped singing, and just played with her Barbie doll.

"Here you are, my love". Bev said, gently giving Emily her almond milk. "Thank you". Emily said. "Sweetie, your singing voice is phenomenal". Bev said, kindly, yet honestly. "You are very inspiring with your voice". "You just made my day". "Thank you". Emily said. "Daddy, and his boss will get you to sing for all of our friends". Bev said, gently. Bev kept it at a simple level for Emily to understand. "Would that sound good?". "Yes". Emily said. "I'm very excited for you". Bev said. "Maybe one day, you can be a singer". "Ok". Emily said. "You are very talented". Bev said, gently. "Do you remember when you sang that one song at Grandma's house?". "Lord's prayer". Emily said. "Yes, that one". Bev said, gently. "You had grandma in tears". "She was so moved by your talent". "I think you are so inspirational with your gift". "You have the ability to change lives, and inspire everyone with music, you can do anything". "I am always so moved by the things you do". Bev kissed Emily's ear. "You make me proud, sweetie".

"Sweetie, I think you'll become famous". Ed said. "Remember when you sang for the Interact Club talent show?". "Yes". Emily said. "You were so happy, so wonderful, you had everyone cheering for you". Ed said, gently. "Then you sing at our church every Sunday". "Everyone loves you". "Ok". Emily said. "I think you would be so amazing if you sang as a side thing". Ed said, gently. "I'll talk to Dupette, maybe he'll get you some things started on that". "Ok". Emily said. Ed kissed Emily's cheek, hugging her. Emily looked up at the stuffing that was cooking. "Mommy, why is there green stuff in it?". Emily asked. "This is cilantro". Bev said, gently. "It's a special kind of vegetable that is in stuffing". "Ok". Emily said.

Ed, and Bev watched Emily play with her Barbie doll. "She truly is perfect". Ed said, in a distant whisper. "She is". Bev said. "So kind, generous, responsible, talented". "Such a good person". "I wish I had her tenacity". "Perhaps she could make a living from singing". Ed said. "She has a remarkable voice". "She could do things for Interact Club, perform, make some money doing that". "Performers make a large sum". "She would still have to be in a sheltered environment". Bev said. "She's our favorite". "She's mine". Ed said. "Unlike Dunshaw Wench over in Connecticut". He growled at the thought of his son, ralph.

Ralph was their firstborn son. He was a drifter to say the least. He took burnout general classes in High School, and barely graduated. He drank, got into fights, and often skipped school. He enlisted in the army right out of High School, and after 3 years, was dishonorably discharged after a number of infractions. He moved back home, refused to work at Conglom O, and mooched off of his parents. Later, Ed kicked him out, and he lived in his own apartment working as a comptroller, and a male stripper at night.

He had a huge falling out with his parents, after Ed found out he stole money, and hadn't spoken to them since. Ed disowned Ralph. Ralph now lived somewhere in Connecticut.

Emily watched the stuffing being made, wondering why, and how it was made. "Why is it brown?". She asked. "Sweetie, stuffing is made of breadcrumbs". Bev said, gently. "Stuffing". Emily said. "That's right, sweetie". Bev said, gently. Bev mixed the stuffing, letting it sit for a couple of minutes. She then put the stuffing in a bowl, as well as put the mashed potatoes in a bowl. Emily took the plates out, setting the table.

"Very good, sweetie". Bev said, gently. Emily put the forks down, and the spoons. She went over to get the mashed potatoes, and stuffing. "These are hot, sweetie". Bev said, gently. "Let's bring them over, together". She picked up the Stuffing bowl, and mashed potato bowl bringing them to the table. Emily helped bring the bowl over.

"Thank you, Emily". Bev said, gently. "I want to help do dishes". Emily said. "Perhaps, sweetie". Bev said, kindly. She kissed Emily's cheek.

The family ate their dinner. Emily ate her stuffing. For some reason, she didn't feel the pain in her chest. Somehow, it disappeared. Emily felt full today. Perhaps it was the pizza she ate earlier. She felt ok now. The sadness was still there, although the pain luckily was gone. Emily felt a deep sadness, although she felt hope. She couldn't wait to talk to her birth mom again. She couldn't wait to have a connection with god. Emily felt tired, however. She felt exhausted after a busy day. She wanted to sing her songs, and play. Emily looked down at the necklace her birth mom gave her. Bev talked with Ed, couple's talk, as Emily prayed, singing the song her old adoptive mom used to sing to her at night.

The family talked, ate their dinner, and soon, Emily was full. She was happy Bev made stuffing. Emily truly felt thankful for her parents. Her parents had given her everything. Now, she felt she had to give back. She wanted to give them something. She wanted to get a job so she could help them. Ok, maybe when she was older, but she did want to help them.

Bev sat out on the porch, smoking a cigarette. The glow of the cigarette end was dim, but yellow. Emily came outside, seeing Bev. "mommy". She said, coming over to sit on a lounge chair. "Hello, love". Bev said, gently. She blew out smoke. "I liked stuffing". Emily said. "I'm glad you liked it, sweetie". Bev said in her deep, raspy, smoker's voice. "I knew it was your favorite". "Mm, did you enjoy the pizza today?".Bev asked, kindly. "Yes". Emily said. Bev was still wearing her silk negligee. Her breasts were seen hanging out partially. Emily could see Bev's breasts. "Mommy, why did you tell me about being a-dop-ted?". Emily asked, pronouncing the word, "adopted" with a struggle. "Well, sweetie, it's important to know for the healing process". Bev said, gently. "I know you've felt bad after your trauma, and I decided to help with healing". "Why do I have to?". Emily asked. "Sweetie, I love you". Bev said, gently. "I think you should have a nice quality of life". "You are an amazing person". "You are so selfless, and kind". "So talented". "You didn't deserve to have your birth parents taken from you".

"You are my inspiration". Bev blew out some smoke. Emily looked down at the necklace her birth mom gave her. "My birth mom gave me necklace". Emily said. "She did". Bev said, gently. "Your birth mother was an incredible person". "That's where you get your good qualities from". A cloud of smoke surrounded Bev. "I'm sure you are so much like your mother". Emily held her teddy bear close to her. "Mmm, I looked online at a resort". Bev said, gently. "I was thinking this weekend, I could steal you for some time". She blew some smoke. "We'll stay at a beach house, we'll have an infinity pool, there's a hot tub". "That's cool". Emily said. "Can daddy come?". "It'll be just the two of us". Bev said, smiling a cunning, seductive smile, winking. "We'll go to the beach, we'll swim, there's an Italian restaurant that has your favorite spaghetti". "We'll bring your almond milk". "It'll be our special trip".

"Ok". Emily said. "Trip!". "Trip!". She smiled, and played. Silk rustled, as Bev smiled. "I wanna bring my Barbie". Emily said. "Of course, sweetie". Bev said, gently. "You can have whatever you want". A cloud of smoke surrounded Bev as she smoked. "My perfect gift". "Why do you and Daddy get vows, 'newed?". Emily asked. "Daddy and I have been married for a while". Bev said, gently. "There are promises we kept to one another in the beginning, and we'll continue to keep them". "Sometimes, things get old, but we are grateful for one another". "I've loved daddy ever since I first met him". "Why do I get to be, maid of honor?". Emily asked. "Well, sweetie, you are the best thing that has happened to us, as a family". Bev said, gently. "You are a blessing to us". "You've given us everything we could ever want". "How?". Emily asked. "Well, you're very responsible". "You're very giving". Bev said. "I thought it was excellent, that you wanted to join your Interact club; give back to the community". "That's so adorable". "I want people to be happy". Emily said. "I want to help people". "That's wonderful, love". Bev said, gently. "You've always been very generous". "One day, you will be rewarded for your good nature". "I'm so proud of how selfless you are".

"My birth mom taught me". Emily said. "I see her". "I see god". "Mmm". Bev nodded, in understanding. "Did you pray to her after your adoptive parents passed on?". "Yes". Emily said. "I see my mommy, and daddy, too". "That's lovely". Bev said, gently. "I...I...I...I". Emily started to say. "I'm scared all the time". She sniffled. "Mmm, why are you scared?". Bev asked, gently. "I...I...I don't want to get hurt". Emily said. "I don't want to die". "Hmm". Bev stroked Emily's cheek, gently. "Sweetie, you feel this way because you've experienced scary things". Bev said, gently. She kept her wording simple for Emily to understand. "You've been through trauma as an infant". "What happened to me?". Emily asked. "When you were younger, your birth mother died, when she was attacked". Bev said, softly. "What is attacked?". Emily asked. "Terrorists came in, and attacked your birth parents". Bev said, gently. "I don't know exactly what happened, but they were killed". "You were then homeless for a while before you were brought to the orphanage".

"You were targeted by gangs, street gangs". "What's a gang?". Emily asked. "A gang is a group of bad people who are very dangerous". Bev said, softly. "You were targeted by a gang". "You were threatened". Emily remembered the fear, remembered the anger that was felt by these gangs. She felt the sadness come back. It was harsh knowing the reality that she couldn't do anything because of her intellectual disability. It was tough knowing she was injured. She felt fearful. She was scared every second of the day that she would be killed, or someone she knew would be killed.

"I...I...I..I got hurt". Emily said. "I will get hurt". "Sweetie, I understand before it was scary". Bev said, gently. "I know it's been difficult". "You've been self reliant for a while". "Yes". Emily said. "It must've been difficult, being out there on your own, being in survival mode". Bev said, gently. "No one to kiss you, no one to hug you". She whispered. There was still a bit of rasp, and depth to her voice, as she whispered. She blew out some smoke. "Kind of". Emily said. "I was by myself". "Mmm, sweetie, you've been through hardship". Bev said, gently. "Daddy and I are here to protect you always". "We love you, and we'll give you the best life possible, because you've given us everything". It was dark outside now, and, 10:00 at night. Emily held her almond milk close to her. "Ok, mommy". Emily said. Emily drank some of her almond milk, feeling as if something was going to happen to her. She felt alert.

Bev sensed Emily's anxiety. "It's ok, love". Bev said, gently. "I'm here, and I will always protect you". She took Emily's hands in hers. "What are you feeling?". Bev asked, kindly. "I'm scared". Emily said, as tears welled up in her eyes. "It'll be ok, sweetie". Bev said, gently. "I love you, and we will be together always". "You are our amazing girl". She rubbed Emily's hands, her little knuckles, as Emily breathed deeply. "Shh, shh, it's ok". Bev comforted. Emily breathed, calming down. "It's ok". Bev said, making comforting, nonverbal gestures. They sat outside for a while. The clock read 11 pm, as Emily's eyes began to fall. "Sweetie, let's go to bed". Bev said, gently. She put out her cigarette, going in with Emily, to read her a story. They did this, and Emily did fall fast asleep.

Ed slipped off Bev's negligee, as they kissed. The rustling of sheets could be heard as well. "She is a nice enough girl". "She should know right away". Ed whispered, although there was a bit of gutterel to his voice. "Mmm, she might, but, how will she take it?". Bev whispered. "She might have a hard time understanding the concept". "hopefully, it isn't too much".

"I'd just tell her as is". Ed whispered. "Yes, but you know how pensive she gets". Bev whispered. "It might be too elusive for her". "I'd just be honest with her". Ed whispered. "She'll find out either way". They continued kissing, and joining their reproductive organs until they both fell asleep. It was long into the night.
