Now is the part of the show where Prophe-Cass comes on and writes a angsty drabble.

Dr. Emilia was struggling to keep the laughter in. Above, fireworks exploded, radiating across the sky, threatening to destroy all the Mutes except for Kipo. Below, panic set in while all the Mutes scampered underneath Kipo's belly, trying to squeeze as close together as they could manage.

Dr. Emilia, however, wasn't done with them quiet yet. She and her followers had only set off half of the fireworks, as she had instructed them, and the next half would be launched after the next stage in her plan. She didn't become lead scientist for nothing, after all. She was the smartest woman in the DNA burrow, and the most determined besides.

She wasn't restricted to making a cure just from Kipo's DNA, after all; the walrus's DNA had reacted with the cure's formula just as nicely as Kipo's did, if not more so. She had tested it on a little squirrel before coming, and his retransformation was instantaneous.

This wasn't Kipo's DNA. Kipo wasn't immune.

She only had enough time to make a single cure dart – aside from the one used on the squirrel - before coming out, but it would be more then enough.

At Dr. Emilia's gesture, Greta placed her crossbow in her hands. Dr. Emilia loaded the crossbow herself and leveled it at Kipo. A deep breath, in, out, and Dr. Emilia fired. The arrow sped through the air, Kipo having only enough time to raise her head to glare at it, before it sunk into her shoulder blade.

(That, Emilia believed, was Kipo's last mistake. Not reacting to the dart.)

For a few long seconds, nothing happened. Dr. Emilia felt a nervous tremor begin to stir in her stomach. Perhaps the quantity used wasn't enough. Perhaps Kipo's large size was interfering with it. That would explain the delay, if anything. Or maybe she had messed up the darts and had instead fired a Kipo-cure dart at the jaguar.

Greta bit her nails nervously, glancing at Dr. Emilia. She opened her mouth to ask why nothing was happening, but at Emilia's sharp look, she didn't even manage to squeeze out a grunt.

Kipo twitched, large purple eyes narrowing slightly. In pain or confusion, Dr. Emilia couldn't tell. The jaguar released a loud roar, her paws flexing and releasing her large claws; burrowing them into the ground. She huffed out a groan, shaking her head in pain.

And then… Kipo screeched, her transformation releasing all at once and shrinking her back into her ordinary size, tumbling to the ground, unable to even try and land feet first.

Around her, humans shrieked in surprise and worry, Mutes yelling as the last of the embers hit their backs, reverting back to their normal selves.

As Kipo withered on the ground, her DNA literally vanishing from her body, her mother, father, and pathetic two human friends – Benjamin and Wolf, if Emilia's memory served – dashing for her, disregarding all else as they crouched at her side.

Emilia began to laugh, throwing back her head and crackling. This time, Kipo couldn't keep a stupid wooden board to block the dart. This time, Kipo wasn't immune. This time, she had won. And this time was the time that mattered.

"Launch the rest of the fireworks." She ordered, amused that all the other humans – even the ones not close to Kipo – were distracted by Kipo's obvious pain as she shrieked and rocked back and fourth. "Finish off the mutes; put them all out of their misery."

The scientists obeyed, out of fear or out of their own fierce devotion to the cause, Emilia didn't know, nor did she care. All she knew was that she was winning.

Kipo's withers ceased gradually, and her screams stopped. Her body lay still, eyes staring vacantly at the sky.

Wolf looked up, staring at Emilia in horror and wrath, before tilting back her head and releasing an ear-piercing howl, one of mourning. Beside her, Benjamin screamed in misery, and Kipo's parents sobbed.

Emilia's gaze locked onto the rest of the PRAHM – the last of the mutes were being touched by the embers, and everything was over. She had won. She had won. A giggle of victory burst from her lips, and her shoulders rocked. The laughter she had been holding in spilled out of her throat, sounding across the empty sky, echoing long and hard. She couldn't wait to put the humans that dared defy her out of their misery. After all, she had won. Who could stop her now?

When I saw Emilia steal the, uh, walrus? DNA, this is what I thought would happen.

And, yes, I know his name is Benson. I just really think it's funny that everyone thinks his name is Benjamin in the show.
