At the briefing room, Captain Ham, Ferrel and his men discuss the new objective in this mission.
"Jack's computer models are immune to creatures and will work with a hint of blood." said Captain Ham.
"Let me guess. That is where we are going, to Shibuya for more extraction of the purgers." said Ferrel.
"Good, good." said Captain Ham. "In one hour, you will go through the billboard and bring no more than three people in this mission."
"We'll go with Sam and Pete for this mission." said Ferrel.
"May I do a playback for the mission?" asked Sam.
"No." said Captain Ham.
The billboard activates as Ferrel, Sam and Pete go on a three-man mission to extract civilians. They brought night-vision and thermal goggles.
"Good luck." said Captain Ham.
Ferrel, Sam and Pete enter Shibuya through a nearest billboard. From there, Sam uses binoculars. He found several purgers and a broken car. Ferrel uses night-vision goggles for this mission and found a running civilian. The purger attacks Ferrel. He breaks free by summoning Renamon. She then attacks the purger. Sam shoots the trees, fleeing the purgers.
"There are more purgers out there, so please be careful." said Ferrel.
He then puts away Renamon. They found fire in the trees located in the park.
"We found a place to go." said Pete. "But how are we going to defeat several purgers?"
"We might as well get to the point without being spotted by these native purgers." said Ferrel.
Ferrel and his two men watch the activity. They do bad things to people. He uses binoculars to check on one activity. They kidnap women and children to be flogged. The camera moves away from the act as they flog people.
"We should stop them before they get worse." said Sam.
"We will be spotted if we do it now." said Ferrel. "I'm the leader and the survivor of the previous purges."
"Split up." said Pete.
Pete, Ferrel and Sam split up. Ferrel point the gun at the first set of purgers, but it turns out that they are not affiliated with Pennywise as they don't have masks.
"Nope, wrong guy." said Ferrel. "False alarm."
Ferrel summons Meicoomon and Guilmon to trace the purger's whereabouts. Meicoomon sniffs the ground.
"The set of purgers are last seen in the shopping district." said Meicoomon.
The sun comes out quickly.
"Is it morning?" asked Guilmon.
"I don't know." replied Meicoomon. "We are on the way to the shopping district."
Ferrel puts away both Guilmon and Meicoomon. He then gathers ammunition and goes to the shopping district.
At the shopping district, the same woman who was attacked is lying down on the bed at the store. Her name was Sophie. Jack and Miss May appear.
"Excuse me, Sam." said Ferrel through the phone. "Captain Ham said a three-man mission, not a full mission."
"I could use some help." said Jack.
"Have a seat." said the receptionist. "You see that woman right there? She is my daughter. Her name is Sophie."
"Who did this to you?" asked Ferrel.
"I don't know." replied Sophie.
"It was the purgers who attacked her." said Shoutmon. Shoutmon and Alex are the last to appear.
"This is a three-man mission, not a full mission." said Ferrel. "You are putting the lives at risk by bringing in more allies."
"We could use some help with the mission." said Alex.
Ferrel gets up from the table and exits the restaurant. He places his tip on the table. He summons Impmon and Terriermon for a discussion during mission.
"Terriermon, Impmon, we move out in fifteen." said Ferrel.
"I agree." said Impmon. "I heard Meicoomon called me a big bully."
"You two get along." said Terriermon.
"Back to the billboard, to get more weapons and ammo and then to get more purgers." said Ferrel.
Back to the embarkation room, Captain Ham shows up.
"Find anything?" asked Captain Ham.
"No, no new purgers, except for a woman who attacked her." replied Sam. "However, I was unable to extract the purgers as they don't have masks."
"Me neither." said Ferrel.
"Mission debriefing in half an hour." said Captain Ham.
At the briefing room, Jack, Alex and Shoutmon join the discussion for an another mission.
"We should have stayed in Shibuya longer to find out who is responsible for harrassing a young woman and finding more artifacts." said Pete.
A man who was at the briefing room attacks Alex.
"Release me now before I will call the police." said Alex.
A man releases Alex. He then attacks Shoutmon.
"Take your seat now!" yelled Captain Ham.
"I prefer not to hurt this man." said Alex.
The guards arrest a man who attacked both Alex and Shoutmon. He is then seen having an epilepsy.
"Take him to the infirmary to fix him up." said Captain Ham.
"Yes sir." said the guard.
"Anyone else?" said Captain Ham.
At the embarkation room, Jack and Miss May are seen doing maintenance on the billboard. An another fight erupts from the briefing room, killing both of them.
"We need medic over here." said Miss May.
At the locker room, Ferrel was done with the shower. Miss May violently kisses Ferrel.
"What is wrong with you?!" said Ferrel.
At the infirmary, the doctors restrain Miss May.
"Is it something to do with the previous mission?" asked Ferrel.
"I don't know." said the doctor.
At the corridor, Ferrel and the nurse observe several people, including one who is recovering from an epileptic seizure while the other is punching the wall until he bleeds. At the control room, Jack is taking a coffee break with Ferrel.
"What happened to you?" asked Jack.
"A man attacks both Alex and Shoutmon before he had a seizure." said Ferrel.
"He must be on drugs." said Jack.
Ferrel grabs Jack's jacket. He then punches him in the face continuously until he bleeds. He is then arrested and taken to the infirmary. At the infirmary, Jack and Alex are being injected to prevent further tantrums. The nurse talks to Captain Ham.
"I think it's the mission that causes tantrums such as violently kissing a man, punching someone in the face and attacking one another." said Captain Ham.
"I think so." said the nurse.
"Make sure no one comes in or out of the Shibuya area, you got me?!" said Captain Ham.
He hears shrieking. It was Ferrel who is about to break the door. The soldiers restrain Ferrel and sedates him, putting him to sleep. Captain Ham receives a phone call from the management.
"Yes sir?" said Captain Ham. "We have a serious situation here."
Back at the infirmary, Captain Ham found several bloodied beds.
"What is this?" said Captain Ham.
"Bad news, Mr. Ham, the mission is causing people to go havoc." said the nurse.
"Alright. Jack, Alex, come with me." said Captain Ham.
At the embarkation room, Jack and Alex are on the two man mission. Shoutmon accompanies Alex for this cure mission. They are back at Shibuya. Alex, Jack and Shoutmon go to the West End area with snipers. The sniper rifle-wielding purgers find Alex and Jack. They then kidnap Jack and Shoutmon, leaving Alex the remaining member of the mission. Meanwhile at the prison cell, Captain Ham became the latest person to have a tantrum.
"They are spreading." said the nurse.
The nurse injects Ferrel once more. At the shopping district, Alex goes inside the restaurant.
"Welcome back." said the receptionist.
"This place is a curse." said Alex.
"What do you mean?" said the receptionist.
"My allies were p*ssed off because of the mission that we embarked." said Alex.
"You are not welcome here, because you cuss." said the receptionist.
Alex punches the receptionist and the guards before leaving the restaurant. Meanwhile, Shoutmon and Jack are surrounded by purgers.
"Leave my friend alone!" said Shoutmon.
At the infirmary, Alex returns with the blood sample from the guard.
"I think the restaurant is the source for the tantrum. It wasn't the men." said Alex.
At the prison cell, Alex apologizes to Ferrel and injects the blood sample in the wrist.
"All we can do is wait." said the nurse.
The nurse closes the door to Ferrel's room. Several hours later, Ferrel recovers from the injection.
"Open up!" said Ferrel for the first time since the injection.
"Welcome back." said Alex.
Captain Ham recovers from the injection as well. Ferrel and his men go on the rescue mission to rescue Jack and Shoutmon. They found them being like apes. Ferrel shoots the tranquilizer darts at Jack and Shoutmon. At the restaurant, Ferrel and his men take Jack and Shoutmon to the chamber to have them recovered. Several hours later, they are returned to normal. Several civilians show up with the reward.
"You did it, you have stopped the spread of the tantrum." said the civilian.
"It was a slow proccess, but we did it." said Shoutmon.
The men leave the area with more civilians.
