At the beach, Ferrel and his men examine several crystals. Some crystals are huge and some are small.
"Let's spread out." said Ferrel.
Miss May looks at several crystals.
"They're crystals, not volcanic." said Miss May. "I don't see anything that is broken."
Jack found one crystal that is damaged. Alex is observing the sands. Ferrel continues to examine the crystals. One crystal is watching him. As Ferrel touches the crystal, it flew Ferrel backward, losing consciousness. A clone of Ferrel appears and exits the beach. He then picks up the real Ferrel's DigiVice and regroup with his men.
"I got the crystals, let's go!" said Jack.
At the embarkation room, Alex and his men return home.
"Welcome back, crew!" said Captain Ham. "Debriefing will commence at 4:00."
At the briefing room, Alex, Shoutmon, Miss May, Captain Ham and Jack are on the table discussing the mission about rescuing civilians. Miss May shows some crystals to Captain Ham.
"There's evidence that the real Ferrel lost consciousness and a clone is right here on the table." said Miss May.
"Your crew is being stood down until the next mission comes up. Dismissed." said Captain Ham.
At the locker room, Ferrel opens his locker, wears a jacket and found Rika's old DigiVice. He summons Renamon and examines her DigiVice.
"That must be the purger that I saw during the third incident." said Renamon.
"Ferrel." said Miss May.
"I must go." said Renamon before disappearing.
At the corridor, Ferrel wanders around. At the lab, Miss May and Jack looks at the crystals.
"I think Ferrel touched the big crystal, so that's why he looks different." said Jack.
Outside the crew, Ferrel returns home to meet up with his brother and wife. His mother died several purges ago. Ferrel's wife fixes her car. Ferrel grabs his wife's shirt. She flees the driveway and goes back inside. He is seeing blue and white stuff. Meanwhile, Alex and Shoutmon watch TV in their room. Jack and Miss May show up.
"We need help." said Jack.
"Is it something to do with Sam?" asked Shoutmon.
"No. Sam is with Captain Ham." said Jack.
Back at the house, Ferrel examines his brother's things. Meanwhile, Sam summons Hawkmon at the embarkation room to break several crystals.
"What did you do?" asked Captain Ham from the window.
"Just breaking a big crystal." said Sam.
"You can't do that here." said Captain Ham.
"You received permission to summon a Digimon in the embarkation room to destroy a crystal." said Alex.
"Oh." said Sam.
At the lab, Sam and his men examine the crystal once more. At the house, Ferrel walks around the house with his wife present.
"I have to get back to the billboard." said Ferrel. "It's an animated billboard that can take on missions like that."
Back at the lab, Jack and Sam examine a crystal, it was fixed by itself quickly. The billboard activates on its own.
"To the embarkation room now." said the technician.
The soldiers point the guns at the billboard. The real Ferrel shows up.
"Who are you?" said Captain Ham.
"I'm the real Ferrel." said the real Ferrel.
The real Ferrel is then taken into custody. Meanwhile, Ferrel converses with his wife. As his wife argues about family, Ferrel is electrocuted.
"What happened to you?" asked his wife. "We must get you to the hospital."
Meanwhile the real Ferrel is watching a footage. His men are looking at the crystal. The crystal talks.
"It talked!" cried the real Ferrel.
"I'll throw it away if you talk." said Shoutmon.
"Don't throw me out." said the crystal.
The crystal stopped talking.
"Any ideas?" said Ferrel.
At dusk, at the briefing room.
"We have a problem with the crystal." said Miss May. "It's starting to decay."
"Same here." said Captain Ham.
At the corridor, the real Ferrel and his men go to the elevator to leave the Anarchy Command after making a phone call to his wife. Alex gives his DigiVice and Shoutmon to Captain Ham.
"You will get the other Ferrel as civilians. So no weapons in this rescue mission, is that clear?" said Captain Ham.
"Shoutmon, see you when I get back." said Alex.
"Sure thing." said Shoutmon.
At the hospital, Ferrel has his DigiVice on the table. He wakes up.
"I have to get back to the billboard." said Ferrel before being electrocuted once more.
The police and the ambulances show up.
"Everyone out now! This is not a drill." said the real Ferrel. "What room?"
"Room 300" said the nurse.
The real Ferrel grabs his DigiVice. He points it at the clone.
"This is not a weapon, this is a DigiVice." said Miss May.
She is wearing a head-to-toe outfit and a helmet.
"Stay back." said Ferrel.
He is electrocuted. The real Ferrel and his men take off their helmets.
"You have come to destroy me." said Ferrel.
"No." said the real Ferrel.
"Why did you come here?" said Sam.
"I tried to make you live before they come here to destroy me." said Ferrel.
A young boy shows up. It was a young Ferrel.
"Ferrel, let's go." said Jack.
"I have to go." said Ferrel to a young boy.
Ferrel and his men show a young boy a billboard and say goodbye to him.
"I'll be back." said Ferrel.
