The billboard is activating.
"Incoming traveler." said the technician. "Closing the iris. I was wrong, it's the tamers. Open the iris.
The billboard's iris is opening. Pete, Sam, Alex, Shoutmon and Jack are the only ones to escape to the room as the billboard is malfunctioning.
"Alex, Shoutmon, are you hurt?" asked Captain Ham.
"Miss May and Ferrel couldn't make it." said Shoutmon.
At the snowy field, Ferrel and Miss May lost consciousness. Miss May later wakes up and found her DigiVice unusable due to the temperature. Meanwhile in the infirmary, Jack is unconscious while Shoutmon and Alex are awake.
"I believe they should wait." said Shoutmon.
"This is a report on the repairs." said the technician.
"I must return to get Ferrel." said Shoutmon.
"Not with an army after you, sorry." said Captain Ham. "As soon as the billboard is fixed, then you can go."
At the snowy field, Ferrel regains consciousness with a broken leg.
"What happened to you?" asked Miss May.
"I think my leg is broken." replied Ferrel. "My DigiVice is not working."
"Try summoning a Digimon without a DigiVice." said Miss May.
"I tried that before, but it will not work without it." said Ferrel.
"We are inside the digital world." said Miss May.
Ferrel receives a call from Guilmon, saying that Ferrel's DigiVice works. At the embarkation room, the billboard repair continues. Inside the cave, Miss May is mending Ferrel with the help of Guilmon.
"I think Meicoomon is right Sensei. I think your legs are broken in the process of escaping the digital world." said Guilmon.
The fix is done. Ferrel got up with the aid of Miss May. Meanwhile, Jack regains consciousness. Alex and Shoutmon tells Jack that the billboard is dead.
"The billboard has malfunctioned." said Jack.
At the cavern, Miss May unravels a DHD. It was covered with snow and ice. Ferrel summons Guilmon and performs Pyro Sphere. The attack didn't work on ice. At the embarkation room, the technician is testing the billboard.
"I will not authorize a rescue mission." said Captain Ham. "Unless there is something good about Ferrel and Miss May."
The billboard is activated.
"It works." said the technician.
The car enters the billboard only to be destroyed by the purgers.
"Close the iris and disengage the billboard." ordered Captain Ham. "This mission is corrupt."
Meanwhile, at the cave, Meiccomon uses an ice pick to continue stabbing the ice.
"Soup time!" said Ferrel.
Meicoomon stops working on the DHD and drinks soup. The soup has beans and seaweed in it. At the control room, Jack and Shoutmon along with Alex are discussing how to get Ferrel and Miss May back.
"If they are alive… Then there is hope." said Jack. "We have to narrow it down."
Miss May and Ferrel continue to unravel the DHD with ice picks. She discovers a particle inside the ice. At the control room, Captain Ham and his men are talking.
"Okay, before that, there is Earth." said Jack.
"They just disappeared." said Shoutmon. "We think the billboard takes us both the digital world and the real world."
"What if they jumped?" asked Jack.
Ferrel and Miss May are done unraveling a DHD. They then dial. Ferrel is coughing blood. The dialing is unsuccessful because the billboard from this area is not working properly.
"Darn it!" cried Miss May. "This is going to take forever to get us home."
At the briefing room, Jack is warned.
"I think Ferrel and Miss May are missing in action." said Captain Ham.
"I don't think so." said Jack.
At the cave, Impmon and Meicoomon are resting cuddly since he's having a crush. Ferrel and Miss May are also resting. At the room, Jack and Captain Ham are observing the billboard.
"What's wrong?" asked Captain Ham."
"Nothing." said Jack.
The soldiers go on a mission. Meanwhile, Ferrel is having a frostbite.
"Why aren't you working on the DHD?!" yelled Miss May.
"Miss May, help me. I'm having a frostbite." said Ferrel.
"It's time to go get the friends back. Open the gate. Take chances." said Ferrel.
"If we don't get the billboard to fix, then we are both stranded." said Miss May.
The billboard activates inside the embarkation room with Alex and Shoutmon with an injured man present. At the same area, Miss May cannot stop rebooting the DHD to no avail.
"Why can't I go home?!" angrily asked Miss May. "I tried everything, Ferrel, but the billboard is not working to no avail."
"Plan B, go." said Ferrel. "I'm dying of frostbite."
Miss May summons Palmon and continue to troubleshoot the billboard and the DHD. At the briefing room, Alex, Shoutmon and Jack are discussing the way out. At the cliff, Palmon digivolves to Togemon and punches the ice until the DHD is fully revealed. At the control room, Jack, Alex and Shoutmon are continuing the discussion. Miss May gets out of the cavern. The digital world is covered with snow. At the control room, they found traces of Ferrel and Miss May.
"There it is!" said the technician.
"The snowy digital world is actually Antartica." said Captain Ham.
"We found the actual location of the digital world." said Shoutmon. "Let's roll out."
Meanwhile, Miss May found Ferrel has frostbite and lost consciousness. Togemon de-digivolves back to Palmon and comforts Ferrel. The rescue team picks both Ferrel and Miss May up.
"You are coming with me!" said Shoutmon.
"He's bleeding internally." said Miss May.
"We know, Miss May." said Captain Ham, who is part of the rescue team. "Let's get you home. In the meantime, let's put away Palmon in your DigiVice."
Palmon is put away by Captain Ham. It is a first time a Digimon is put away by a person other than a user.
