Picking up where the previous chapter left off, at the infirmary, Jack is healed.
"Beware of the purgers." said Jack. "They are conveying that there are purgers are on the loose, going after me."
"Right." said Ferrel.
"It is possible." said Miss May.
"To the briefing room, now." said Captain Ham.
"I'm here to end these purger missions here and now." said the general.
"Why?" asked Ferrel.
"This would be the end of Digimon-summoning and missions." said the general.
At the briefing room, Ferrel is with Captain Ham. He confiscates the DigiVices. He then discusses the previous memories and mission. Later, the general shows up with several men.
"I prefer something." said Alex.
"Let's just keep the alternate reality in check okay." said Ferrel.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize…" said the general.
Ferrel and his men are standing up. The general looks at the billboard.
"Please be seated." said the general. "Ferrel, Miss May, Jack, Alex, Shoutmon, Sam and Pete, I have a competition with the workers."
"Thank you, senator." said Captain Ham.
"I want to make sure all things are secret." said the senator. "I found these missions too offensive and dangerous."
"That means…" said the general.
"That means the president has to hear me out, so here I am." said the senator. "The truth is that you take these missions too seriously."
The discussion continues. Later, the senator brings the briefcase containing the book.
"You wrote the report, Ferrel." said the senator. "On the 10th of March, you were on the mission to rescue Jack's sister, but she was possessed by an evil clown named Pennywise."
"That's correct." said Ferrel.
The briefing room transitions into a flashback where several civilians are evacuating the facility. Later, Ferrel and his men evacuate the civilians to the billboard, however the purgers block the exit. The flashback transitions back to the briefing room as the billboard activates for no reason, probably because the SG2 is returning home. It then transitions back to the another flashback where Pennywise found traces of Alex and Shoutmon only to be surprise attacked. An another flashback occured where the pyramid is covered by a ship. It then transitions to the day where Rapidmon destroys both planes overrun by Pennywise and the purgers. They then transition back to the briefing room.
"The point is sir that the purgers are making the civilians as slaves." said Miss May before transitioning into a flashback.
The flashback occurs when Miss May examing a crystal talking. Earlier, Ferrel looks at the crystal and flew backward.
"So, I get flashbacks here." said Shoutmon.
"These purgers are dangerous terrorists!" cried the senator.
"Your world values freedom and it values people, not terrorists." said Shoutmon.
Shoutmon gets up from the table and grabs the senator's shirt.
"You have been warned." said Shoutmon.
"Shoutmon, stop!" cried Alex.
"Fine." said Shoutmon.
The senator goes back to the table.
"So, Ferrel, the civilian was infected by the worm a long time ago." said the senator.
The flashback occurs. It depicts a fight between Shoutmon and Kevin. The flashback transitions back to the briefing room.
"We stopped him." said Ferrel.
"Recently I have to shut it down forever." said the senator.
The flashback occurs once again. The flashback opens when Captain Ham makes a phone call. Later, Captain Ham is at the same place as Ferrel, who was violent because of the disease from the previous mission. The flashback ends.
"We saved a group of people." said Ferrel.
"Ferrel, you very nearly died by a group of nanocide." said the senator before transitioning to an another flashback.
The flashback depicts Miss May returning to the museum with a big briefcase. Ferrel grows as an elder as a result of the kissing from the people at the museum. The flashback ends.
"But after the incident, we have the purger destroyed." said Miss May.
"I might have even retired." said Jack.
"We know how dangerous is the mission…" said Ferrel.
"If you shut down the billboard now, then the purge never ends." said Jack.
"I intend to shut down the billboard." said the senator.
"If you stop the billboard from activating, then there will be no turning back." said Miss May. "We think Jack experienced the alternate reality."
"I was sent to alternate reality, to have me arrested at first." said Jack.
"How many ships, Jack?" asked the senator.
"Ten." replied Jack.
"I say let them come." said the senator. "You are underestimating the anti-mission."
"And you think God will save us?" asked Ferrel.
"You're a fool." said Jack.
"I have business to attend to." said the senator.
"Get out of here." said Captain Ham.
"I was thinking that we should attend a mission before the anarchy program is shut down for good." said Alex.
"I can't let Ferrel do that as we were unable to negotiate with the senator and the general." said Captain Ham.
"We all due respect sir, we are dealing with both the purgers and Pennywise, not a group of policital crooks." said Jack.
"Dismissed." said Captain Ham.
