Best Laid Plans-Ch 3
A few minutes later Hotch and Aaron walked out of Dereks room and headed into the hallway, Dave looked at Hotch and said, "we need to talk to the locals and see what's going on"?, Hotch said, "we also need to see if their is any camera feed that we can check out, who knows maybe we will get lucky", Dave blew out a deep breath as they turned around nd headed back to the waiting room.
When they walked outside they saw two police officers talking to one of the nurses about Derek and Penelope and Hotch flashed his badge and said, "I'm SSA Aaron Hotchner and this is SSA David Rossi and Derek and Penelope are our associates at the FBI". One officer said, "I'm Chad Jeffers and this is Todd Smith and we're the leads in this investigation".
Hotch said, "what can you tell us about the accident"?, Chad said, "well their SUV was t-boned on the passenger side so Ms. Garcia took the brunt of the impact of the crash". Dave said, "any witnesses"?. Todd said, "yes several, they said that the car came out of nowhere and struck the SUV in the side and then the driver just climbed out of the car and ran away".
Dave said, "any survelience camera footage"?, Chad said, "yes, our techs are looking at it right now", Hotch said, "is their any way that we too can check it out, maybe together we can find more clues". Chad said, "sure but before we go can you give us an update on the victims"?, Hotch said, "agent Morgan is unconscious, has a broken left arm, cracked ribs and head trauma".
He then said, "Penelope has head trauma and might need surgery to reduce the pressure to her brain, she has several broken ribs and a broken right leg, she too is unconscious". They looked up to see Emily walking toward them and Hotch said, "this is officer Chad Jeffers and this is officer Todd Smith, we were filling each other in on the case".
Emily said, "did you catch the freak that did this to our friends"?, Chad said, "sadly not yet mam", Emily shook hands with the two officer and said, "Emily Hotchner", they said, "we were just getting ready to head to the station to look at survelience footage". Emily said, "I'm going to stay here but don't worry I'll keep you updated on any chances", Hotch kissed his wife on the lips and said, "don't worry Em, they are going to be okay", she said, "they have to be Aaron, they just have to be" as she then watched the four men turn around and walk out of the hospital.
In Penelopes room Reid and JJ stood in silence and watched as her chest would rise and fall and rise and fall, JJ said, "what kind of monster would do this to her"?, Reid said, "we all know what kind of sick people are out there Jayje". JJ said, "that's true but why her and Morgan, they were innocently going to pick up things for our family barbecue, why them, why today"?, Reid said, "we may never know Jayje" as he wrapped his arms around her.
Across town in an undisclosed location a woman is pacing back and forth across the room, she smiles and says, "soon I'll have everything I want, everything I need but first I have to make sure that sweet, sweet Penelope is gone". She turns when the door opens and a man steps inside, he walks over to her and pulls her into his arms and claims her lips with his.
She pulls apart and says, "well, well, don't keep me in suspense"?, the man grins wickedly and says, "our plan is falling into place perfectly", she touches his cheek and says, "good, now any word on their conditions"?. the man said, "Derek is going to be okay, he's unconscious, he has a broken arm, left I think and he has some cracked ribs, so your sweet Derek is going to be just fine".
The man paced back and forth and said, "but p p plumsauce on the other hand, she's not doing good, it's not looking good for her", the woman grinned and said, "good, because the sooner she's dead and gone the better, the better for me, for us and this baby". Kevins hand went to her stomach and said, "this baby is everything Savannah and we've come to far now to fail".
She said, "that's why we're not going to fail", Kevin said, "this baby is" and Savannah said, "this baby is my future happiness, this baby will ensure that I get Derek back and that we'll be together forever". Kevin said, "but", Savannah said, "but nothing, we made this plan months ago Kevin, 6 months ago to be exact so man up already" and Kevin said, "when are you going to tell Derek about the baby"?. she smiled and said, "just as soon as he wakes up and then him and his precious team/family won't be able to do or say anything because my future with Derek and this baby will be sealed".
