Best Laid Plans-Ch 22
The next couple of days went by normally with no signs of Kevin or Savannah and Derek and Penelope seemed to grow closer and closer as a couple, a fact that thrilled them both. Penelope was currently playing on a computer that JJ and Reid had brought over before the team headed off to Texas on a case.
Derek was gone out for light therapy on his arm, leaving Penelope alone in their room, she looked up from her computer screen when she heard a light tapping on her door. She blew out a deep breath an said, "Kevin, what are you doing here, have you forgotten that I told you not to come back"?, Kevin stepped into the room and said, "of course I haven't forgotten plum sauce" as he walked over and sat down beside her bed.
She looked him and said, "what is it that you want"?, Kevin ran his finger up and down her arm and said, "you of course silly" as he leaned down and tried to kiss her. She slapped his face hard and said, "GET OUT OF HERE, NOW", Kevin rubbed his stinging face and said, "nicely played beautiful, nicely played".
He stood up and said, "the reason I'm here is to tell you that I'm not giving up on us, we are destined to be together and nothing is going to stop me from getting what I want, you". Penelope said, "like I told you the last time you were here, I'm with Derek, we're in love and we're going to be together, regardless of the paternity of the child".
Kevin shook his head and said, "Penny, Penny, Penny, surely you don't believe that", she looked up at him and opened her mouth to speak but he quickly silenced her by crashing his lips against hers. She pulled away and said, "I'm going to talk to the nurses and tell them to not let you back in here", she said, "wait, how did you get back in here, where is the security that is suppose to be posted in the hall"?, Kevin smiled and said, "I can get anything I want, you know that, right plum sauce"?, Penelope said, "don't call me that, you can all me Penelope or Garcia and that's it".
Kevin said, "alright then, Pen-el-opeeee" as he dragged out her name, he said, "Derek is the man whore of Quantico so it can't come as much of a surprise that he knocked up somebody". Penelope said, "when the child is born and they have a paternity test done, then and only then will Derek and I accept that he is the father to the child Savannah is carrying".
He smiled and said, "Penelope, can you tell me why you believe him, why do you believe that he loves you"?, Penelope looked into Kevins eyes and said, "he loves me as much as I love him and nothing you and Savannah say or do is going to change that, nothing Kevin", Kevin blew out a deep breath and said, "when the baby is born, scratch that, before the baby is born she will be living with Derek, mark my words", Penelope shook her head and said, "never, never Kevin".
She pointed toward the door and said, "get out, get out now and don't make the mistake of coming back", he said, "ohhhh I'll be back and we will be together again and that, you can count on". He winked at her and said, "I can't wait to be inside you again plum sauce", he smirked and then turned around and stepped out into the hall, leaving behind him a very confused Penelope.
