Best Laid Plans-Ch 29
Savannah was laying in her hospital bed smiling as she rubbed her hand over her growing baby bump, she sighed and whispered, "don't worry little one, soon, very very soon it will be you, me and daddy". She bit down on her bottom lip and said, "nobody will ever have to know the truth about who your father truly is".
Kevin opened the door and walked into her room and Savannah said, "Kevin, Kevin you idiot what are you doing in here, what if somebody sees you in here"?, Kevin plopped down and said, "don't worry Vannah i was just here visiting with Plum Sauce". Savannah said, "how did your talk go"?, Kevin said, "I was making some real progress until Spencer Reid walked into the room and practically threw me out".
Savannah said, "so you were making progress with her"?, Kevin said, "oh yes, totally, she can see that Derek belongs with you and the baby and if I could have spent just a few more minutes alone with her I know it would have only cemented that fact in her perfect little mind", causing the smile on Savannahs face to grow even wider.
Reid was smiling as he headed up the hall toward the elevator and then as he got ready to punch the button to call for the elevator he decided that he would go pay Savannah a little visit and see just how much pain she was indeed in. He quietly made his way toward the door and a few feet away he heard her laughing.
Reid stopped and leaned in and tried to see who she was talking too, it was only a matter of a few seconds before he heard the nasally whine of Kevins voice saying. "it won't be long until we both get what we want". Reid thought, "what's Kevin doing here and what is he talking about" as he stood there continuing to listen in on their conversation.
Savannah said, "I can't wait till it's just me, Derek and this little one so the sooner we get that cow out of the way the better", Kevin said, "don't talk about her that way, she's the love of my life". Savannah laughed and said, "okay, okay, whatever you say Kev, whatever you say".
Kevin stood up and said, "well I'm going to get out of here but don't worry in a few days I'll pay plum sauce another visit and see if I can push her even further away from Derek". Savannah nodded her head and said, "sounds good Kevin", he then leaned down and pressed his lips against hers in a passionate kiss.
They pulled apart and Savannah said, "Kevin you can't keep doing that, what if somebody would have seen that, what if somebody would have seen us kissing, everything we've been working so hard on would all go down the drain". Kevin shrugged and said, "their is nobody here but us Savannah, so chill out will ya"?. she relaxed and said, "you're right, you're right".
Kevin said, "I'll see you in a few days but if you need anything call me"?, she said, "ohhhh don't worry I will, I will" and she rubbed her stomach and smiled as she watched Kevin heading toward the door. Reid managed to hide at the end of the hall and watched as Kevin strolled toward the elevator with a huge smile on his face.
After he stepped on and the doors closed Reid stood deep in thought, he was wondering just what their plan was but he did know two things for sure. One, he would find out what that plan was and two he was going to do everything in his power to stop Savannah and Kevin from breaking up Derek and Penelope and the sooner the better.
Reid sighed happily and headed toward the elevator, as he stepped on he pulled his cell out and pulled up a number and after a few rings he said, "yeah, it's me, can you meet me in the park across from the hospital"?, the voice on the other end of the phone said, "yeah sure, when"?, Reid said, "the sooner the better".
Before the call ended he said, "oh and Desi, bring Sarah too please, their is something that we need to talk about", Desi said, "alright sure but do you want to give me a hint"?, Reid smiled and said, "I'll tell you everything when we meet at the park". Desi said, "okay, we'll meet you there in about 15 minutes".
Reid nodded his head and said, "15 minutes it is then" and after the call ended he slid his cell back on his belt and smiled happily as he strolled off of the elevator and toward the deli up the street to grab a coffee before his meeting with Sarah and Desi at the park.
