Best Laid Plans-Ch 32
Tonya was sitting in her office working on paperwork when her buzzing cell phone pulled her attention away, she pulled it from her pocket and saw a message from Savannah that said, "COME TO MY ROOM NOW". She blew out a deep breath and stood up and reluctantly walked toward her office door.
As she made her way down the hall her cell buzzed again, she pulled it from her pocket and saw another text from Savannah that said, "NOW", she shook her head and thought, "coming master", Savannah was laying with a huge smile on her face when her doctor walked into the room.
Tonya said, "you wanted to see me"?, Savannah said, "yes, yes I did, how is Derek coming along, when will he be released so that we can go home"?, Tonya looked at her and said, "Derek is doing great, he can be released now to go home but he refuses to go home without Penelope".
Savannah sits up on the side of her bed and says, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME, HE WON'T LEAVE THAT FAT COW"?, Tonya said, "that's right, he said that we can release him any time but that he's not leaving until Penelope does". Savannah tapped her finger to her chin and said, "hmmmmm, so he's not going to go home so that me and the baby can go"?, Tonya said, "Savannah we both know that the baby growing inside you isn't Dereks".
Tonya didn't have time to react as Savannah stood up and slapped her across the face hard, Savannah then said, "I will get my happily ever after Tonya and you are going to do whatever it takes to help me or else". Tonya nodded her head and said, "I can't make him go home when he doesn't want to".
Savannah said, "true but maybe you could suggest that he go home so that me and the baby will be more comfortable"?, Tonya said, "Savannah he doesn't want you, he's in love with Penelope and nothing you can say or do is going to change that". She then turned around and headed toward the door and said, "I'm sorry but their is nothing else I can do on that front".
As Savannah watched her walk out of the room she sighed and said, "this calls for a visit to Penelope and Dereks room, maybe I can make Penelope feel bad enough that she'll ask Derek to go home and take me and the baby with him". She grinned as she climbed into the wheelchair and started wheeling herself out of the room and up the hall toward her victims.
Derek and Penelope were laughing and talking but that all stopped when Savannah knocked on the door, Derek looked at her and said, "Savannah, what do you want"?, Savannah rubbed her stomach and said, "is that any way to talk to the mother of your child"?, Derek said, "we don't know that the child growing inside of you is mine".
She said, "I know it is, I know who this baby belongs to, it belongs to you", Savannah then looked at Penelope and said, "how are you doing Penelope"?, Penelope looked up at her and said, "healing more and more everyday". Savannah said, "that's good, I'm glad to hear that", her eyes then slid to Derek before landing back onto her main target Penelope.
Savannah blew out a deep breath and said, "so Derbear when are we going home"?, Derek said, "you can go home any time you want to Savannah, I'm staying here with Penelope where I belong". Savannah rubbed her stomach and said, "my doctor told me that I could go home as long as I had somebody to stay with me and take care of me for a few days".
Derek said, "well then, I suggest that you call your parents to come and stay with you because I'm not going anywhere until my girl gets to go home", Savannah said, "Derek I" and Penelope said, "Derek maybe you should go home that way" and Derek said, "no baby girl, I'm not going home until you can go home with me".
Penelope smiled and intertwined their fingers and Savannah said, "what about me"?, Derek said, "like I said before maybe you should call your parents because their is no way that you are going to come home with me". Savannah bit down on her bottom lip and said, "we'll see what happens when our baby is born".
Derek looked at Penelope and smiled as Savannah turned her wheelchair around and headed out of the room once again leaving them alone.
