Best Laid Plans-Ch 39
When Derek was finished with his plan Penelope looked at him and said, "are you sure about this handsome"?, he intertwined their fingers and said, "more than sure, she has to pay for everything she's done, both her and Kevin do", Penelope nodded her head in agreement.
Derek stood up and pulled his cell off of his belt and walked across the room to the fireplace, he turned around and looked at Penelope and winked as he dialed Savannahs number. Meanwhile across town Savannah rolls over and grabs her cell off of the bedside table.
She smiles as she sees "Derek Morgan" flashing on her ID, she says, "Kevin, Kevin it's Derek", Kevin smiled and said, "answer it, answer it". She sighed and hit talk and said, "hello". Derek said, "hey Savannah it's me, I was calling to see if you wanted to get together today"?, Savannah grinned and said, "get together today, sure, when and where"?, Derek said, "how about at about 6:00 here at my place".
Savannah said, "sure sounds good, I'll see you there", Derek said, "okay, see you then" and before the conversation ended she said, "Derek"?, he said, "yes Savannah". She said, "why are you wanting to get together tonight, what's changed"?, Derek said, "what's changed is I want to get to spend time with the mother of my child, is that wrong"?, Savannah said, "no, no that's not wrong, I'll see you at 6:00".
After the call ended Derek tossed his cell on the table and said, "now that's done", Fran said, "so now what"?, Derek said, "now we put this plan to destroy Savannah and Kevin into action, they have to pay for what they've done to both me and baby girl and I won't rest until they do".
Penelope said, "where do you want me to go while this is going on"?, Derek said, "we'll help you upstairs into our room and the rest of the team will be hidden here in the house, we'll move their cars, hide them in plain sight so to speak, she'll never suspect anything if the teams cars are in my neighbors driveways".
Hotch said, "alright let's put this plan into motion", Dave said, "alright let's get kitten upstairs and then get out cars moved and get ready because Savannah and Kevin are going to pay for messing with my family". Fran nodded her head in agreement with her husband and said, "yes they are my love, yes they are" as she walked over to join her daughters.
Savannah smiled as she threw the covers back and climbed from the bed, Kevin laid there watching his lover as she danced around the room and made her way toward her closet. He sat up and watched as she picked a beautiful maternity outfit and headed into the bathroom to get dressed.
By the time she came out a few minutes later he was dressed and sitting on the side of the bed, when she walked out of the bathroom she said, "it looks like everything is falling into place for us Kevin". Kevin nodded his head and said, "yeah it seems like it is, you are finally going to get Derek and me, I'm going to get plumsauce, we are both going to get what we want".
Savannah brushed her hair and turned to face him and said, "well how do I look Kevin"?, Kevin turned his head to the side and said, "beautiful as always Savannah, beautiful as always". She sighed and said, "well I guess I better head over to Dereks and if tonight goes the way I hope it does by tomorrow I'll be living permanently with the man I love, with my Derek".
Kevin said, "and I'll be living with Penelope, with her is where I've always been destined to be", Savannah grabbed her things and headed toward the door, before walking out she said, "lock up when you leave lover", Kevin stood there smiling and said, "I will and Savannah, good luck", she said, "don't need luck because I've got my meal ticket right here" as she rubbed her growing baby bump.
At casa Morgan Derek kissed Penelope gently on the lips and said, "I love you", she rested her forehead against his and said, "and I love you, now and forever Derek, now and forever". He stood up and said, "soon everything will be over and then we can focus on our own lives, focus on us".
Penelope smiled and said, "that will be good, I can hardly wait to focus just on us", Derek winked at her and said, "I've waited forever for you sweetness and I'm not going to let Savannah and Kevin keep us apart, not any longer", she looked down at her hands and said, "are you sure that you still want me"?, he walked over and cupped her face in his hands and said, "it's always been you, only you baby girl".
He then leaned in and claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss, she moaned against his lips as he deepened the kiss by thrusting his tongue into her mouth. Their tongues battled for control until they pulled apart when they heard the doorbell ringing.
Derek blew out a deep breath and said, "I'll be back", Penelope said, "good luck my love", he winked at her again and said, "who needs luck when you've got the all seeing, all knowing oracle on your side"?, she laughed and watched as he disappeared out into the hallway, making sure to close the door behind him.
Savannah was standing outside on the porch waiting patiently for the love of her life to open the door, she slid her hand down to her stomach and said, "soon little one, soon we're going to be with your daddy forever and ever". As the door opened her smile grew only larger, Derek stepped aside and said, "come in Savannah, come in".
As he watched her walk by he thought to himself, "it's time that you and Kevin get what's coming to you and I can't wait", he closed the door and turned around and smiled at her. Savannah said, "so Derek, what did you want to see me about"?, Derek said, "I think it's time that we both get what we want don't you Savannah"?, she said, "I do".
Savannah walked over and sat down on the soft couch and said, "so where do we begin"?, Derek sat down beside her and took a deep breath, he then looked at her and weakly smiled. She put her hand on his and said, "I love you Derek, it's always been you, only you".
Derek felt his anger building up inside him and he said, "if that's so then why did you try to kill me and baby girl and why oh why are you lying about me being the father of that baby growing inside you when we both know it's Kevin Lynch".
Savannah said, "I don't know what you're talking about", he stood up and walked over to the desk, he opened the drawer and pulled out the papers and tossed them into her lap and said, "this, this is what I'm talking about so safe me the lies and for once in your life tell me the truth, tell me why".
She stood up and said, "because you're mine, you belong with me not with that fat cow", Derek said, "I love her Savannah, only her, she is the love of my life and we are going to spend the rest of our lives together". Savannah said, "what about me and our baby"?, Derek said, "that baby growing inside you isn't mine, it's Kevin Lynch's baby".
Savannah said, "these papers don't mean anything, where did you get them, who gave them to you"?, they both turned to the door when they heard Reid say, "ohhhhh I gave them to him, I'm the one that told him the truth about everything Savannah, it's me that cost you everything and now because of me you and Kevin Lynch are going to spend the rest of your lives in jail".
Savannah stood there watching helplessly as officer after officer walked through the front door, it was like everything was happening in slow motion as cuffs were slapped on her wrists and she heard the words, "Savannah Hayes you're under arrest for the attempted murder of Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia".
