They made their way back down the street to the coffee shop where they'd met up earlier. It was getting late, but the place was packed. Apparently, everyone else on the street had the same thought as Tony and Saff.

"I have a better idea," Saffron said. "My flat is just three Tube stops away. Let's go to my place and I'll make us some really good cocoa. My mum gets it from Mexico."

The thought of being alone with Saffron in her flat sent a shock of desire through Tony. He quickly flashed her a friendly grin.

"Sounds great," he said.

"Then let's go," she told him, once again hooking her arm through Tony's as she'd done in the store.

After leaving, Tony was surprised when Saffy steered him in the opposite direction of the store. Turning a corner, the two of them found that they had the recessed entrance to another shop, closed for the night, to themselves.

"Shouldn't we 'ave gone the other way?" Tony asked.

Saffron's expression was now as serious as he'd ever seen. She put her hands around the back of Tony's neck, gazing up into his eyes.

Her lips parted as if to say something, but no sound came. They slowly moved closer. Tony felt Saff's breath, warm and soft, as she brought her mouth up to meet his.. She nuzzled his nose sweetly with her own.

Their lips touched, lightly at first, then more firmly as the kiss went from tentative to exploratory to full-on passionate. Tony's tongue gently caressed Saff's and she responded, pressing her body to his, stroking the back of his head and neck when his arms tightened around her. They both groaned softly as the kiss continued, each not wanting to break contact.

But eventually, Tony rather tenderly pulled back, only to immediately plant a hot, wet, thick kiss on the side of Saffron's neck. He caressed her smooth skin with his tongue, the heat of it sending a charge of desire coursing through her body.

She clung to him as if he were a rock keeping her from slipping into a raging sea. He was everything to her at that moment.

The feel of his hips against hers just then let her know that Tony was working overtime to keep control as well. A bit embarrassed at this sudden physical situation, he blushed and carefully moved ever so slightly away from her so they were no longer quite so body-to-body.

That put a knowing, cheeky grin at the corner of Saffron's mouth. She couldn't resist taking a quick, furtive glance down at Tony's hips. The faded, worn denim of his Levi's gave away exactly what he desperately wished he could hide from her sight. Tony's dark eyes danced in the yellow glow of the old streetlight when Saff looked into them again.

He was nervous. But so was she.

"Tony…" she gasped, her legs suddenly feeling weak. "We should..."

She never got to finish her sentence. A voice in the darkness cut things short.

"Miss Monsoon? Mister Draper?"

Saffron and Tony quickly pulled away from one another. Mrs. McMillar, who'd been calling out to them from afar, rounded the street corner.

"Ah, there you are!" she said, grinning at her successful trackdown, obviously not having seen their embrace only a few seconds before. "We'll be heading back to the center now. I just wanted to thank you both and say goodbye before we go."

Tony clearly needed at least a couple of minutes to collect himself, Saffron knew, so she answered for the both of them as Tony quickly turned away from where Mrs. McMillar stood.

"Yes," she said brightly, a bit out of breath from the kiss. "We had a wonderful time. We wanted to ask you about taking Grace out for a day at the zoo this Saturday."

Glancing at Tony, who was forcing himself to stare at the sidewalk, Saff added, "But you have a quick business call to make, though... Right, Mister Draper?"

Tony nodded.

"Um… Yes," he agreed. "Just a short ring back to the office. About a minute or two? I'll catch up with you back at the store, Miss Monsoon."

All the fun Cockney was gone from his voice and manner. He was back to buttoned-down city lawyer again. But Saffron knew this was just for Mrs. McMillar's benefit. The real Tony would show himself as soon as the two of them were alone again.

"Well," Saffron said perkily to Mrs. McMillar, "shall we leave him to it?"

And with a wink back towards Tony that the older woman couldn't see, she added, in a suggestive, husky tone, "See you shortly, then … Mister Draper."
