Sorry this took so long guys! Here is an update for you all! Hope you all enjoy it! Sorry if it is a bit weak… Bruce Wayne/Batman Part II will come eventually, I just kinda wanted to do Luthor tonight.

Meeting Luthor

It was simple really, Dick Grayson wanted to leave the party he was at. Roy was at his side in silent agreement. The two didn't need to talk about why they didn't want to be at this party. However here they were standing, hiding, behind a staircase in Lex Luthor's mansion. Yep, just how they wanted to spend their weekend. Dick spotted Clark and Lois interviewing someone over in the corner. Clark gave them a small nodded and continued with the interview.

"Roy…" Dick moaned. "I don't want to be here, Luthor isn't even…" there was a sudden announcement stating that Luthor had arrived to his own fundraising party. "Never mind," the ten-year old pouted. Dick knew what Luthor did on his spare time, however he had actually never met him in the year he had lived with Bruce. Nor had Robin ever met him either.

"You spoke too soon little bird," Roy smirked ruffling the bird's hair. Dick sighed and looked away. He hated parties and certainly did not want to be at one with an evil villain. Bruce and Oliver took that moment to walk over to the two ward's not so secret hiding place.

"Hey," Oliver said smiling at the two. "Time to go meet Lex," Dick and Roy both visibly frowned.

"Lex Corp, Queen Industries and Wayne Enterprise all have some kind of business deal with Lex Corp, as small as it is," Bruce explained. "You two were invited by Luthor, and as much as we don't like it we have to introduce you to him some time. So come on," Bruce insisted to the two. Sighing the two nodded in defeat. "If it makes you feel better it is for a Children's Charity that we are all major investors in," Bruce added.

Following their guardians they walked towards a bald man speaking to some woman in a tight, form-fitting dress with a few hundred dollars worth of diamonds around her neck, on her ears and around her left index finger. Well someone was marrying up in society.

"Lex," Bruce called to the man in his fake happy billionaire playboy voice. Dick wanted to roll his eyes, he could tell Bruce didn't want to be here either. Luthor turned around and smiled at the group.

"Hello!" Luthor said pleasantly walking towards them leaving the woman. Dick almost cringed at silky smooth tone of Luthor's voice. Instead Dick smiled. "This must be Richard and Roy," Luthor said.

"Yes," Oliver said in the same fake tone as Bruce only caught by both Roy and Dick. "These are our wards," he explained.

"Well, how do you two enjoy this high life?" Luthor asked. "If I must say it is full of fakes and dimwits, however they have money and this is raising money for a cause," he explained.

"Yep, idiots with money are always willing to toss money at sick children," Oliver said before Dick or Roy could answer. "But it is what helps give cures to children who might not have the means to get them," Oliver said.

"Yes well, hopefully we will be able to raise some money tonight," Luthor smiled. "So Richard what is it like to live with Bruce Wayne, the notorious playboy?"

"Bruce is nice," Dick said. "I don't really have a problem with all the woman, it's not like he is going to marry them, and they are never around long enough for me to bother with them. They don't interfere our daily lives," he said. Luthor started to laugh.

"Bruce I like this kid," he said. "Well why don't you and Roy here go enjoy the party, we have some cake and soda over there," Luthor said pointing towards a large table with cake. "Also explore the grounds some, it must be boring for you two to stick around here, don't hesitate to leave," Luthor smiled. Dick and Roy almost ran at the chance to get away from Luthor.

"Don't let Dick have too much sugar!" Bruce said to Roy. "And don't go to far away."

"Okay Bruce, don't worry. Thank you Mr. Luthor for letting us explore your grounds," Roy said.

"Thank you Mr. Luthor," Dick echoed.

"Any time, and please call me Lex," Luthor said. At that the two started to make their way outside leaving Bruce and Oliver to talking with Luthor.

"I thought we would have to speak to him," Dick said with a shudder. Roy nodded at the two started to walk around the maze hedge in Luthor's backyard.

"Yeah… It wasn't too bad though," Roy said. "Besides, this is a public event, Luthor isn't going to pull something off here," he explained. Dick nodded in agreement and started to pull at bow around his neck.

"I hate these suits," Dick groaned. "I wish we didn't have to come all the way out to Metropolis for this too."

"Stop your whining," Roy laughed. "At least we suffer together," he said. Dick laughed. It was true, it wasn't so bad with Roy. There was a sudden scatter of gunshots from the mansion. The two looked at each other in panic.

"Bruce!" "Ollie!" they said together.

"Clark is there!" Roy said.

"But he is with Lois, and he can't leave without her getting suspicious!" Dick noted. Although Clark was never really that careful… However he figured Bruce or Ollie might stop him or help him.

"What are we going to do?" Roy asked. Dick looked up at his older brother remembering that he was still relatively new to the hero business.

"Suit up and recon," Dick said.

"HELLO!" came the familiar voice of the Joker followed by gunshots. The partygoers turned. Bruce, Oliver, Clark and Luthor all happened to be together giving a few quotes to the reporter. This put them all in a bit of a pinch. However Bruce felt safer knowing Dick wasn't in the mansion with them. "I can't believe that Bruce Wayne would have a party all the way out here and not invite me!" Joker laughed. Bruce growled, what did Joker want?

"But then again, these kind of parties don't generally involve clowns!" Joker giggled gleefully.

"What do you want Joker?" Bruce asked.

"Um… To get my name out there… Gotham was getting boring! Same old, same old… You know? Bats always getting in my way. Then I thought, maybe I should get my fair share of the big man in blue!" Joker giggled waving around some kryptonite. Bruce looked towards Clark who started to pale at the green stone, well he would be no help. "But he doesn't seem to be here," Joker frowned. "MAYBE HE REQUIRES A HOSTAGE!" Joker yelled. "Hmm…. I wonder who I want… Harley! Why don't you pick someone for me?"

"Of course Puddn'!" Harley yelled flipping down' the massive staircase into the mansion entrance. "Mr. Luthor!" Harley yelled holding a gun to his head. "And maybe… Mr. Wayne! Because I already know you!" she smiled holding a second gun to Bruce's head. "What about two hostages Mista' J?" Harley asked smiling.

"Wonderful idea darling!" Joker declared. "What about Mr. Queen too?" he added. "Three high profilers here all at the same time!" Well that took Oliver of their potential savers list. What was he going to do next?

Robin and Speedy made their way through the vent system of Luthor's mansion. Robin had managed to download the blueprints to Luthor's house. The two stopped when they got to the main entrance and listened to everything going on. "Bruce!" Robin whispered worried. Roy felt a pit in his stomach when he heard Ollie was being taken hostage too.

"We need a plan," Robin whispered to Speedy.

"Okay, what?" Speedy asked. He couldn't deny Robin had more experience with this.

"Well, we need to get the kryptonite away so Clark can do his thing," Robin said. "After that we can come up with something," Robin said. Out of his belt he pulled out a lead container. "This should nullify the kryptonite," Robin said handing it to Speedy. "I'm going to distract Joker and Harley, you need to get the kryptonite," he said.

"Robin, I don't like this," he said taking the box. "That's two crazy clowns against one of you," Speedy said.

"I know, but there isn't another option, Joker will kill you quicker then me. He enjoys chasing me," Robin said. "You and GA have done stealth right?" he asked. Speedy nodded. "Good, stick to the shadows and get the kryptonite and see what you can do about the goons guarding Bruce, Ollie, and Luthor," Robin said.

"Okay, fine," Speedy said clearly upset.

"Hey don't feel to bad about it, besides you are useless in close combat," Robin said. "And you don't have that many arrows, they aren't quite as travel size as my belt," Robin explained. Robin and Speedy both had their uniforms in their guardians cars, but Speedy and GA had to pack light because they had to travel with a quiver and arrows. So Speedy took the liberty of taking GA's travel arrows as well. He only had 10 trick arrows and 6 normal arrows, he would have to use them wisely.

Robin kicked out the vent shaft and jumped into the fray.

Luthor watched as the crazed clown started to take over the event. Luthor had his dealings with the clown in the past but, Joker never really cared about past dealings. Maybe it was Wayne was here that Joker caught wind of this party, or maybe he was bored, it was like that.

Luthor looked next to him to see Bruce and Oliver struggling against their bonds. He almost felt bad for them, they both had sons somewhere, but at least they were safe. Luthor was glad he suggested the boys leave the mansion. Maybe they heard the gun go off and called the police. Mercy wasn't ready for action yet either… Luthor was certainly in a pinch. Suddenly one of his vents broke open.

"BOY WONDER!" Joker yelled. "Say hello to Uncle J!" Joker said excitedly.

"Joker, leave the hostages alone!" Robin shouted.

"No… But if you're here where is Batman?" Joker asked.

"He's not here, he is off planet with Superman I think. I figured I had to do something to stop you when I caught wind you were here," Robin explained. He watched as Speedy silently made his way towards the kryptonite.

"Well, that's no fun!" Joker said. "Well, at least I can kill you and Batman can't stop me!" he started to fire his gun at the bird. Robing started to flip and turn as he tossed a few discs at the clown. Harley was cheering for Joker firing her gun at Robin as well, ignoring watching the kryptonite and the three hostages she had. Speedy crept over to them and started to release their bonds slowly grabbing the kryptonite and placing it in the lead box. Clark looked at the boy with thanks and started to slowly make his way out of the party without being noticed to change and regain some strength.

Robin sighed in relief as he noticed his father, uncle and the evil man were freed. Suddenly he felt something graze his shoulder.

"SHOULDN'T IGNORE ME!" Joker yelled. Robin grunted in pain grabbing his shoulder.

"No I shouldn't," came the familiar voice of Superman. Joker turned only for his smile to turn to a frown noticing there was no more kryptonite. "This should be quick," Superman said grabbing Joker by the collar and flying over to Harley and doing the same.

"Thanks Superman! Oh Joker I lied about him being off planet!" Robin called. "Well time for us to go," Robin said to Speedy who appeared out of nowhere. "Hey you didn't need to really use an arrow did you?" Robin asked. Speedy growled noticing blood coming from Robin's shoulder. "It's fine," he added. Robin then turned to the three billionaires. "Two boys called the police, I intercepted the call about Joker and the boys are hiding in the maze outside," Robin said to Bruce and Oliver. "I think they belong to you two," he explained. "And I am glad you are all alright," he added.

"Yes well thank you," Luthor said to the young heroes. At that Speedy and Robin grappling hooked off.

"How are we supposed to hide your shoulder?" Roy asked Dick as they quickly changed their clothing stashed it in the car, managing to avoid the police. Dick held up some gauze and a syringe of painkillers.

"This should help with the bleeding and the pain, Alfred can look at it later," Dick said. Roy nodded and quickly patched the boy up before Dick put his shirt back on.

"Dick! Roy!" Roy and Dick turned to see Bruce and Oliver running through the maze with police officers and Lex Luthor. Tears started to fall from Dick's eyes as he ran towards Bruce into his arms.

"BRUCE!" Dick yelled happily. Bruce held his boy close. Roy somewhat rushed to Oliver. Oliver placed an arm on Roy's shoulder and pulled him close to make sure he was safe. Luthor looked at the two boys.

"I'm sorry this happened, I'll send you guys the latest Lex Corp gaming systems tomorrow. I know it can't help with what happened, but maybe some video games will help you take your mind off the events tonight," Luthor explained. "Bruce, Oliver, we can host this event some other time. Take your boys home," he said.

"Thank you Lex," Bruce said leaving with Dick in his arms and Oliver and Roy by his side.

"Bruce can we stay with Oliver and Roy tonight? I want to make sure everyone is actually here…" Dick said. Bruce looked at him and nodded.

"I think we can stay in my Metropolis penthouse together," Bruce said looking at Oliver who nodded agreeing to Dick's easy request. "Alfred is there with medical supplies for your shoulder too," he added. Dick nodded burying his face in Bruce's shoulder.

"Thanks," he mumbled.

"Take a nap you brave little bird," Bruce said. Dick nodded closing his eyes and drifting into sleep.

Lex looked at a screen with several other villains looking back at him.

"Hello fellow members of the Light," Luthor said to the camera. "Speedy seems to have gained Robin's and everyone's trust," he said. "Shame he doesn't actually know what he is doing," Luthor said. "We need to think about cloning Robin too," he said.

"Excellent idea Luthor," Queen Bee said.

"Excellent," Luthor smiled. "Lets start 'Project Sidekick'."
