Chapter 2

Will's POV

It was about 7:00 PM when I had finally decided to start packing. I told Nico that I would meet with him once I was done packing, which would probably be before he did. He liked to do things on his own time. I

The hard part was having to say goodbye. It was always the worst, having to leave the tour friends And family behind not knowing if you were coming back or not it when. What I had a motive of always staying positive.

Once I got to my cabin I headed over to my chest with my valuables in it. I got out my duffle bag hoping it would hold enough stuff. I then went to the closet were we kept our coats and grabbed it out knowing it would be getting chilly soon.

Since I didn't know how long I'd be there I grabbed all of my shirts that were in my chest. I grabbed 2 pairs of jeans because I didn't know where we were going exactly and I didn't want the bag to that heavy if we had to fight. I then grab toiletries and necessities. I was pretty much done because when going on a quest you didn't want to pack to heavy because you dont know when you'll have to ditch something.

I sigh as I grab my duffle to then head out to go and help Nico pack because gods know he started yet. I turn around before leaving and inhale slightly. I haven't necessarily gone on any quests before but I know how they usually go down.

Everyone was most likely at dinner so I was able to pack without my noisy siblings. Don't get me wrong I love them but they could be annoying sometimes. As I head over to Nico's cabin I see everyone at the dining tables so I know I won't be asked what I'm doing it anything like that.

I then quickly jog over with my bag and knocked on his door. At first there wasn't any answer so I knocked again. I finally hear shuffling in the background signaling that Nico's getting up from wherever he was. He was probably just sleep he's always asleep.I laugh a little let my statement knowing that it's true.

A couple seconds later I hear the doorknob turning and then opening up. I smile when I see Nico. You could tell he was sleep he had bags under his eyes, and he was only wearing a shirt and boxers. "I can see you haven't started packing yet" I say sarcastically. He mugged me before moving over and letting me in. "You know darn well I haven't that's what you're for" He shrugs. I laugh at his statement.

"You're horrible I hope you know that" He says. Before he could start an argument with me I walked up to him and picked him up. "Willll what are you - put me down now" He yelled. But if course I didn't listen. I carried him over to his bed and sat down with him on my lap. When I looked at his face you could literally see the heat coming off it. I chuckle at his cuteness. "D-don't laugh at me you dummy" Nico stammered. I chuckled and kissed his nose ever so slightly. If his face could get any redder I bet it could. "Well whatever let's go pack" He said to get out of my lap.

"Okay sunshine lets go pack because it seems that you haven't even started yet" I stated playfully. He mushed my face telling me to get up. But before I would let him up I kissed his nose again. He giggled a bit before pushing me off him.

" Okay lets get started we have to get up pretty early tomorrow, and we all know how you are Neeks" I said. "Don't judge me it's not my fault you big jerk" Nico scolded.

We then go and pack up Nico's stuff which like me was pretty quick because of the fact that we didn't know what we were doing. We finished up and decided that I was going to sleep in his cabin. Just to make it easier, yeah totally.

"Will" Nico calmed out. I looked down at him from my cuddle position and said "Hmm". He sighed and then said "Do you think this is going to be something utterly dangerous again".

I think about it for a second knowing that I shouldn't say anything crazy but should at least be realistic as well. " I have no clue but as long as your safe that's all that matters I'll always protect you got it" I told him hoping it would boost his confidence and make him feel better about the quest.

"Thanks Will at least you care" He sighed. I kissed the top of his head and said " A lot of people care Neeks you just didn't let people in". He turned his head up and mugged me. I laughed slightly. " It's okay darling you let me in and I think maybe that's good enough... for now" I told him holding him tighter.

"Haha Will love you too" Nico said sarcastically. "Of course you do".
