Chapter 3
Nico's POV
I woke up to someone shaking me. I wondered who it could be but then realized it could only be Will waking me up to go to our mission.
I groaned as I turned around knowing that I couldn't get out of this. I sighed as I turned back to Will. He was smiling. How could anyone be this happy this early in the morning and have to go on a quest.
"Morning sunshine" Will then said to me. I scoffed as he called me that I was anything but sunshine but I'll let it rock for now.
"What time is it" I asked him. He looked me in the eye and said about 7 o'clock am. I looked at him like he had three heads. "I thought we had to leave at 9 am not 7" I said profoundly. He chuckled but didn't answer me.
"Well since your already awake you might as well get up and say goodbye yo everyone" Will announced. I mugged him but he only smiled bigger. Why was he such an optimist.
"Okay fine whatever" I say. He smiles and says "Great let's go I'm pretty sure most of them are in the pavilion already". I rolled my eyes and muttered 'Of course they are'. Will looked at me before putting on that 'I know what you just said look and maybe I'll let it slide' grin.
"Neeks be nice" Will said. I stared at him and said "I am being nice but not everyone needs to see that". Will squinted his eyes at me "So I'm considered everyone now huh".
My eyes widened "No that's not what I meant" I yelled out. Will smirked and walked away without a word. I mentally smacked myself. I was always getting sucked up into his mental traps.
I jumped up and went to the bathroom to freshen up. After taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth I walked out the bathroom and to my closet. I went a picked up a black shirt with some black jeans with rips in them, and my aviator jacket.
I finished towel drying my hair and walked out the door to find Will. As I was walking to the pavilion I saw him talking to Leo. He noticed me and waved for me to come over to him.
"Hey Neeks refreshed" Will teases. I blushed and mumbled that he was stupid. He heard me and placed his hand over his heart and said "Nico my feelings, how could you say that". With Leo full blown laughing now I'm pretty sure my face turned a much darker shade of red. "Shut up Will leave me alone". As I said this I started to walk off without saying hi to Leo to walk to the tables. But as I started to walk away Will graves my hand and stopped me.
"Leave me alone Will" I said still embarrassed about the situation. As I was trying to pull my hand away Will pulled me in harder and wrapped his hands around my waist. "I'm sorry, I was just joking", Will said, "Please forgive me". I sighed as I relaxed in his arms. "Whatever I didn't care anyways" I mumbled out to him.
I had forgotten all about Leo until he let out a awww and gushed " You guys are the perfect couple, now stop being all mushy you guys it's making me tear up". I rolled my eyes as I could feel the heat on my face. Will smiled at him not really having any embarrassment about the predicament. But of course I couldn't walk away without being sarcastic. "What's that about never crying Leo, and how your do manly all the time" I sarcastically said. It was his time to blush and he just flipped us the bird and walked off to the pavilion.
~Time Skip~
Will's POV
After saying bye to everyone me and Nico headed to Half-Blood hill, where Chiron told us we were going to be picked up from. It was 8:57 when we arrived and there was already someone there with Chiron waiting for us. I didn't really want to go but I didn't have a choice so I sucked it up and just went along with everything.
"Nico I think that's them we should hurry up" I told Nico. He nodded as we went to the two people at the bottom of the hill. We had our backpacks and headed towards the car.
"Welp looks like this is going to suck" Nico said as soon as he seen who the other person was. I nodded and agreed "Yeah total bummer". We then walked up to the god. Thor. "No need for formality's a simple hello will do" Thor says cheerfully. I smile and look over at Chiron. "So are you going to tell us what are quest is or is this a guessing game" Nico sarcastically asked Thor and Chiron. I chuckled as I gently nudged him.
He glared back and continued staring at the two. "Well as much as I need your assistance it's going to have to wait until we get there" Thor told us. We nodded as we bid our goodbyes to Chiron.
As we were in the car I wondered something. "Why are you driving the car" I asked Thor curiously. He looked at me in the backseat and just smiled. "No reason in particular I just wanted to drive you guys" Thor said. I had a feeling there was more to it but I just left it alone.
I looked over at Nico about 20 minutes in and saw that he was already falling asleep. I scoffed and he heard it because he was wide up again glaring at me. I laughed a bit. "Why don't you shut up already gods your such a damn annoying person" Nico complains. I smile at him and say "Neeks no cursing and I know but I'm your annoying person". And I winked. He blushed a bit and sat back i his seat. I pulled his head down to my shoulders and we were quiet for the rest of the ride.
