Chapter Two

On the Way to Margaret Town, Later

Having decided to check up on their old teammates, Wendy Marvell and Carla, who had joined the Lamia Scale Guild in light of Fairy Tail's disbandment for the sake of argument before they could seriously consider on either reforming their old guild, or making one of their own, Natsu, Happy, and Lucy with Touka tagging along were traveling on foot to Margaret Town where Lamia Scale resided before they then took a break from walking to save their energy. As they rested, Touka recanted to Lucy how Natsu and Happy rescued her from bandits until she immediately got up.

"Uh, sorry, everyone, but I have to do something in private." She said quickly before walking away out of sight, leaving a bewildered Lucy to stare at Natsu and Happy who merely shrugged.

Once Touka was away from her friends, however, she then sat cross-legged on the ground to close her eyes and concentrate in a meditation-like trance, which quickly shifted her perspective to her internal consciousness, and when she opened her eyes, her Human form was replaced with a white-furred Exceed with black stripes that immediately traded a glare with another in her mindscape who looked the same as Touka's Human form.

"Can I just say for the umpteenth time that I really hate how we got stuck in this mess in the first place?" The Human said to Touka with a flat tone of voice.

"When did it start though, Faris?" Touka responded to the question with annoyance. "When I said "Natsu, I love you" after changing into your form when he and Happy saved us, or when you possessed my body to take us from our home world?"

Faris scoffed before answering. "Well, the first one was problematic, but at least Natsu is genuinely charming in his own way as Happy is to you, and once we see this Enchanter Dragon Slayer we've heard so much about, we can settle the confusion however we like." She then added with emphasis. "And I already told why I possessed you in the first place!"

Touka sighed, but nodded in understanding. "I know, Faris. I just wish I can tell Happy how much I love him already, let alone even exist outside of your appearance."

Sighing herself, Faris replied. "Considering that I've come to truly like Natsu just as much and he doesn't even know my true name, I can sympathize with that." She then had a thought and smiled to Touka as she said. "Maybe I can help give you a taste of the one you love."

"What?!" Touka couldn't help but stammer with widened eyes at Faris' last sentence, which the latter embarrassingly took note of.

"Not remotely what I meant!"

Back in the Real World

While Touka was taking her time elsewhere, Natsu and Happy talked with Lucy if she had done any amazing stuff working for Sorcerer Magazine when they then heard Touka make a loud comment.

"My, my, look at this river full of fish!"

"Fish!" Happy exclaimed in hungry excitement. "I want to eat!" And quickly flew away without passing a glance towards Natsu and Lucy.

As Happy flew to where it sounded like Touka was speaking from, however, he then heard a whistle calling out to him and he turned to his surprise to see a white-furred, black-striped, female Exceed smiling flirtatiously at him. Awestruck at the sight of the feline beauty and his thoughts of fish forgotten, Happy flew down to be on ground level with her, cleared his throat, and cheerfully said. "Hi, I'm Happy! What's your name?"

Instead of answering Happy's question, though, the unfamiliar Exceed moved forward to press her lips on Happy's, and the latter was too shocked to do much else until ultimately falling unconscious.

Smiling bashfully at the sight as she changed form, Touka said aloud. "Thanks, Faris."

I honestly do not know which is more embarrassing. That I rushed with the concept behind this, as of now, two-shot thinking that Touka was indeed the Natsu fangirl and White Wizard put together before the manga pulled some twists, that I had to wait over a full year to learn that the white-haired Human, whose form Touka the Exceed was using, was an imposter White Wizard named Faris, or that when the name "Elentir" came up, I immediately thought it was who the latter was supposed to be instead of her home dimension. I am only glad I can finally update this now with the right identifications. More or less.
