"Daniel, get Walter to run a search for all black Ford vans in the area in the last 30 minutes" ordered Jack. Nice one Carter he thought to himself, she might just have provided the lead they needed to find them before they disappeared altogether.
"Sam, can you hear me?" Groaning in response but not opening her eyes Janet tried again to rouse her friend from unconsciousness.
"Sam come on, open your eyes now" ordered Janet.
"Hurts Janet" mumbled Sam, her eyes flickering open but immediately closed again.
"I know Sam but I'd much rather you be awake than not" Brushing her hair from her forehead Janet winced at how hot Sam was, immediately reminded of the fact she was supposed to be back at the SGC being treated for an infection rather than kidnapped in the black of a van heading who knew where. Placing an arm around Cassie, Janet settled for comforting her daughter and hoped Sam would be strong enough without the medical attention she clearly needed.
"Daniel, question anyone who has been in the vicinity, Teal'c check the cameras, I'm going to check in with the SGC" ordered Jack as they pulled up at the zoo entrance. Taking a look around, Jack desperately hoped that either Walter or the traffic cameras in the area would have caught something that would give them a lead, despite Carter giving them a clue, black Ford vans weren't exactly unusual.
"Tell me you've found something?" asked Jack as Daniel walked towards him.
"Unsurprisingly, no one saw anything or if they did they weren't willing to talk. Hopefully Teal'c will have more luck with the security cameras" replied Daniel.
Janet sat in the back of the van trying to remain calm, Cassie was still nestled tightly into her chest and Sam was still passed out despite a few brief moments of consciousness. When the van finally came to a stop and she heard the front doors open, she lifted Cassies head towards hers.
"Do what they ask and you will be fine" she told her before kissing her gently on her forehead.
The van door slid open and both Janet and Cassie blinked their eyes rapidly in an attempt to readjust to the bright light outside.
"Get out" growled the man closest to the door, his gun raised at Janet.
"Move the other one" he ordered to his assailant. Doing as they were asked, Janet and Cassie climbed out before Sam was dragged out and the three of them were taken straight into a nondescript brick building that was about as poorly lit as the van they'd come from.
They were taken to a room in the far corner of what looked like a huge warehouse, inside was a bed and a sink. Not evening bothering to lay Sam on the bed she was instead left on the floor and the door slammed shut behind them.
"Cassie, help me get Sam on the bed" asked Janet as she moved quickly towards her friend.
"Jan" mumbled Sam as they lifted her up, "what's going on?"
"Finally you're awake" said Cassie, sitting down beside her on the bed.
"What did I miss?" she replied with a small smile.
"It's all my fault Sam, I'm so sorry" Cassie told her as she hugged her tightly causing Sam to wince loudly.
"Easy Cassie" Janet told her as she pulled her daughter from Sam, "and it wasn't your fault so I don't want to hear you saying it again" she told her sternly.
"No one blames you Cassie, you did the right thing when you called us" replied Sam, as she sat up against the wall.
"But look at you, if it wasn't for me then we wouldn't be stuck here"
"Hey, none of what happened is your fault and I'll be fine. Your Mom's here to look after me" Sam told her, as she smiled warmly at Cassie, flicking her eyes at Janet to do the same.
They weren't left alone for long before the door to their room flew open and the two men who took them before entered the room.
"You two" he growled pointing at Sam and Cassie, "move he ordered"
"Just take me" replied Sam, "you don't need her"
"Actually, she's the reason you're here, now I won't ask again. Move" Cassie slowly stood up after looking between Sam and Janet. Struggling to remain upright, Sam had to grab Cassie's arm to give her vision a moment to clear. Following her out of the room, Sam glanced back at Janet and grimaced at her shocked expression, what could they possibly want with Cassie?
The men led them across the empty warehouse to a corner that made Sam gasp, a chair had been placed in front of 4 chains with cuffs hanging on the wall. The sight reminded Sam of a certain Goa'uld and his torture methods, she pushed that thought to the back of her mind, surely there was no way he was here.
"Sit" ordered the taller man to Cassie before the other dragged Sam towards the wall, stealing herself the pain her shoulder would cause before anything had actually started. Determined not to show them any weakness she bit the inside of her cheek, drawing blood as she was strung up on the wall in front of Cassie. Leaving them to face each other, Sam stared directly at the younger woman, proud to see that even if Cassie was scared out of her mind, she certainly wasn't showing it. Glancing up a tall figure was slowly walking towards them, unable to see who it was Sam took a deep breath to prepare herself for whatever came next.
"Major Samantha Carter" drawled the voice behind the hood, "it's so nice to see you again" Sam's eyes went wide as she stared at the figure.
"Ba'al" she hissed.
"The one and only" he replied proudly as he lifted his hood off and smiled at a very shocked Sam.
"Shall we begin?" he asked, as he walked around Cassie, trailing his fingers across her shoulder.
"I won't tell you anything"
"Maybe not yet, but I guarantee you will" he replied with a smirk. Reaching out to one of the men who'd brought them in, Sam caught sight of glinting metal that could only be a pain stick.
"Don't touch her!" she yelled out.
"I don't plan to" replied Ba'al walking towards her, "but you Samantha, you I intend to touch and then we'll see whether our little friend here intends to stay silent.
Janet had been pacing the length of their room since Cassie and Sam had been taken, panicking about what might be going on outside the wall of the cell, suddenly a piercing scream filled the air and she stopped and spun around to face the door. Unable to tell whether it was her daughter or Sam that made the noise, Janet fought to control the tears that suddenly began to fall.
