The farmer's market was equivalent to a candy store and the Swedes were loving it. Their eyes roamed every vegetable stand, drink stand, clothing stand etc. They were given large woven baskets to put their stuff in and boy did they use them. I planned to buy my things from a store, so I just walked behind them chaperoning. They did everything silently as well. I watched Otto hold up two stocks of corn to an older man who asked him if his day was good or about the weather. Otto just stared at him, gave him the money asked, and kept it moving. I was on the opposite side of them observing some overalls.
"Anja!" I heard Oscar call out and I turned and looked at him noticing he was holding up a stray calico cat to me. "We take!"
"Not in my home! That could be someone's pet!" I called out. He frowned almost pouting.
"We. Take!" he said firmly. I rolled my eyes and just nodded my hand at him and he smiled and turned back to the new addition to our household.
"What language is that?" a cool voice asked. I turned to see a man standing across the stand from me. He had soft brown curls, and grey eyes looking at me through professional glasses. I smiled politely.
"Um Swedish." I replied. He nodded as if impressed.
"Well you speak it beautifully." he said holding his hand out to me. "Marcus." I reached over and shook his hand.
"Anastasia." I replied. He grinned more.
"Beautiful name. Are you single?" he asked. I looked him over with playful suspicion.
"I am. Are you?" I replied. He nodded.
"I am. Maybe I can take you out for coffee or something in town?" he asked. I smiled more shrugging. He seemed nice enough.
"I'd like that." I replied. But his eyes passed me and now he looked somewhat put off.
"Um maybe I'm seeing things, but three white haired guys are definitely looking at me as if they want to kill me." he said motioning over me. I turned and looked across the market to see all three brothers glaring at Marcus as if they indeed wanted to kill him. What the hell was their problem! I looked back at Marcus.
"Sorry, they're my roommates. They're just a little protective of me." I replied. Marcus' lips pursed together, and he just held his hands up so they could see.
"Gotcha. Well… I don't want any trouble." he said before backing away and walking away. Guess coffee wasn't happening. I whipped my head to the Swedes who were now just looking around at the different stands they were at as if nothing ever happened. I marched over to them with anger in my eyes while they looked at me amused.
"I can't talk to guys either or go on dates, what the fuck?" I whispered harshly so it didn't seem like I was making a scene. Axel shrugged carelessly.
"Men can distract you." he replied. I frowned.
"You're all starting to be controlling." I said. They all shrugged.
"You are our escort, you do what we say." Axel replied. I arched a brow my eyes challenging them now and they all stared at me trying to assert their dominance.
"So this means I can only fuck you three then?" I asked.
"Yes." they suddenly said in unison and looked at each other stunned. I blinked rapidly in shock.
"Fucking crazy." I said before shaking my head and walking away.
Normal POV
The Swedes had definitely enjoyed being at the farmer's market that was until the stranger started to hit on their escort. The triplets couldn't explain the sudden burst of jealousy that turned to complete rage when seeing another man taking an interest in their partner.
Axel could never tell Anja he took her virginity, but having her beneath him as an escort was, for the moment, keeping his primal urges for her at bay. But every time a man got too close, every time a seemingly dominate male took interest, he wanted to fill their face with bullets like he did that cop that continued to harass her. He thought he'd be upset that Otto and her lied together back in Alabama, but he actually wasn't. Otto's his brother and he and Oscar were probably the only exceptions he would allow access to her since their bond was unbreakable and he knew they felt the same as him toward her.
Otto may not have voiced his plans to make Anja his lover after that wonderful night in Alabama, but he had no problems showing any man that she was off limits. She was the only one, aside from her brothers, that actually made him want to talk. She always looked at him with interest when they conversed and he liked when someone listened to him the rare times he spoke. She wasn't not loud or annoying and she did her job well. He was glad Oscar managed to protect her back in Pennsylvania. When he saw the line of bullets disappear behind the bed, he couldn't explain the fear that over took him when he realized that she may have been hit. But when she came up and pulled them into an embrace, he knew he wanted to hold her. He hardly knew her but they had six months to change all of that and when their trial was over he didn't plan to let go.
Oscar was gently stroking the cats back as he watched Anja storm off angrily. It was true he was inexperienced with romance. Killing, he was good at, beheading and skinning he was definitely good at, but romance was another story. He had never liked a woman and had no woman aside from his mother, to discuss those feelings with. He couldn't pin point if what he was feeling was love, but he knew he felt a pull towards the girl. He liked it when she tried to take command and asset herself over him or his brothers. He regretted telling her that they didn't want an escort in the first place, and he was thinking of ways to let her know she was wanted. He knew that anyone who tried to take her from him or his brothers he would cut down without question. The brothers looked at each other with determination before looking at her. They did not have to verbally speak their agreed upon intentions. They would share her and she would share them. It was time to show their escort who she belonged to.
Anja's POV
We left the farmer's market with numerous bags of food and clothes. I was not in the best of moods after what happened. I drove and this time Oscar sat beside me in the passenger's side with the cat on his lap and he smiled down at the purring creature. The cat had bright green eyes and black and red spots all over. After it stretched I saw it was a girl and she curled into him. Once we were at a red light, I shook my head.
"She is your responsibility." I said to him and he just smiled and nodded. "Hell she's all your responsibility." I looked back at Oscar and Axel who just tilted ther heads at me. After going to the pet store and vet apparently, we brought our things home and we began to carry them inside. The brothers had moved inside and I was locking my car when a police car pulled up. I stiffened thinking it was Todd, but it wasn't. It was a tall firm jawed cop. His hair was black and slick back and something about his eyes didn't sit well with me.
"Anastasia Monroe?" he asked. I looked at him curiously.
"Can I help you officer?" I asked and he looked at me with distrust.
"My name is Barton Scull. I've been trying to get a hold of you for a few weeks now. I was officer Todd Stevenson's partner." he said. I shook my head confused.
"Was?" I asked.
"A few weeks ago, Todd was murdered along with his wife Sarah, their house riddled with bullets." he said. My eyes widened a bit although I had an idea already of what happened.
"Todd's dead?" I asked. Barton stepped closer to me now frowning.
"Don't act so sad. I know you and him were fucking. He tried to end it and you couldn't handle it from what I heard." I shook my head at the accusations especially since they were born out of lies.
"I didn't do anything, I've been out of town. I-"
"Yeah why don't we go down to the station and discuss it?" he asked aggressively gripping my forearm hard and tugging me.
"Hey you can't do that you have on proof!" I snapped. Suddenly, a flash of white was in front of me and before I knew it was looking at the back of Oscar's head as he frowned up at the tall cop, his hand on my stomach keeping me behind him. Barton scoffed down at him.
"You got something to say pipsqueak?" he asked, his hands on his hips, but one resting on his gun. Oscar just looked up at him with a smirk as if he was hoping the cop would draw. My heart was pounding in my chest at the thought of any of the boys being under the police' radar. I let my hand reach and take Oscar's before looking at Barton.
"Todd came to my house wanting to see me weeks ago." I replied. Barton's eyes squinted at Oscar as if not liking the smirk that still remained on his face.
"I'm guessing this little chump can vouch for you?" he asked. I looked back at the door way to see Axel and Otto standing in front with frowns on their faces. I then looked from them to Barton and nodded.
"All three of them can." I replied squeezing Oscar's hand. The cop looked at all three brothers now and I could tell he was going to put the pieces together, but I was sure he had no proof. "Now if you don't mind officer we'd like to get on with our day." I pulled at Oscar backing us both away, yet his eyes remained locked on Barton as I backed him away. Barton looked at them closely before Oscar turned and just wrapped his arm around my neck leading me past Oscar and Otto who lingered for a bit before coming inside as well. Once the door was closed and locked I looked at the three men with frowns and they all just shrugged ever carelessly as if asking "what'd we do"? I just shook my head and turning from them.
"Put away the groceries. They are all yours." I replied in English before going to my room. Throughout the day the boys were lost in their own world. Otto and Axel, both bored started to annoy each other and began to wrestle in my living room. They didn't break anything or got too rough so I didn't stop them. Oscar just sat at the table enjoying Maddie, his new cat. When the sun went down, I prepared salmon, steamed broccoli and carrots with mashed potatoes and rice. The food was almost done and I leaned against the counter as I waited looking at the guests in my house. I glanced over at Axel who was sitting at the table with a picture in his hand. I couldn't see what it was of, but I could tell he cared about what was on it. He was gazing at it with warmth. Otto was in the living room and Oscar was sitting down on the ground beside the couch with Maddie who meowed in his hold. When the oven dinged all four looked at me.
"Dinner is ready." I replied. I usually let them fix their plates first because why not, they were guests. However, Axel paused and placed his hands on his brother's chests, shooting frowns at both of them before looking at me and motioning his head to the stove. Oh such gentlemen. Once we were all at the dinner table, we ate in our usual silence. I wondered if this was how they ate when at their home. As we sat in silence, I couldn't help but think of the cop, Barton. I could see vengeance in his eyes. He would be back and he would bring unwanted trouble. I found myself glancing at Axel and glaring just slightly because I was sure this was his idea.
He caught my stare almost immediately and looked at me sharply.
"Why did you all kill Todd?" I asked and now they all looked at me, Oscar and Otto looking at their big brother who just stared at me with a firm frown.
"Because he was in our way." he replied coldly before looking back down at his food and eating in silence. His tone sent shivers down my spine. What was going on with these three? Is this just how they were going to be? Is this how Commission enforcers acted? I looked at Oscar and Otto who just at as if unbothered.
"Do you feel the same way?" I asked them. The brothers didn't even have to look at each other as they just nodded in agreement and went back to eating silently. Was I even bothered by this? Should I have been bothered? They killed a cop whose partner was sure to be a problem, because of his lies. But I guess they could just kill Barton too if they wanted. I looked down at my food and just ate it in silence. Once dinner was over, I refused their help of cleaning up the kitchen since I wanted to be alone. I saw Otto and Axel retreating to the rooms and Oscar just remained on the touch with Maddie. I knew he'd be quiet so I wasn't bothered by him. Most of the lights were off and I just washed the plates in silence, my Bluetooth speaker on the table playing Fanfare of the Common Orc by David Sardy. I loved instrumental music. I swayed my hips to the intense music as I put the cups in the dish drainer.
I then felt a fuzziness against my legs and I looked down to see it was Maddie rubbing her plump body against my legs and I couldn't help but smile gently at the creature. She was beautiful. Now I felt an entire wall against my body and I slowed my washing of the plate in my hands for a moment before glancing down to see a pair of feet inches from my heels. I lifted my head back up now feeling a pair of hands gently pressing to my hips and lightly cupping them. I suddenly feel a soft pair of lips at the middle of my neck making me gently gasp as a shiver shoots down my spine. That was very random.
"Help me with something?" he asks against my flesh. I don't stop washing the dishes, and try and focus on not dropping my plate.
"What?" I asked feeling his lips peck my neck again.
"I feel something in the pit my stomach when you are near. At first I mistook it for maybe annoyance when you speak." he said. Suddenly, he turns me around and places his hand on either side of the sink trapping me inside and leaning into me, his feral blue eyes now looking tamed as they looked into my deep brown orbs. "But now I am not so sure. It is a feeling that radiates all over my body." God even with Oscar being the smallest of the three, he still possesses some strength in him to control me.
He's so close to me, since he's trapped me between his body and the counter. My lips parted carefully as our gazes remained locked.
"Catching feelings?" I asked softly and he watched me closely as he looks my face over before tilting his head some and letting it dip into my neck. "Oscar-" I couldn't even finish the sentence as I felt his lips press airy kisses to my flesh. I bit my lip now trying to think about this behavior. The switch in his mood was peculiar.
"Your skin is so soft… and smells sweet." he purred. I closed my eyes clearing my throat some.
"Maybe you're experiencing lust rather than true feelings?" I asked, and his lips began to trail up my neck leaving warm fuzzy spots on the parts he kissed. I remained still as I tried to figure him out. Surely it was lust, it had to be.
"Is that bad? Lust? Was what Otto did with you lust or feelings?" he asked. I bit my lip gently.
"Lust… does that bother you, us having been together?" I asked and he shook his head, his face inches from mine again as he shook his head.
"Maybe that is what we are all feeling for you, lust." he said. Did he say all? Before I could voice that thought his lips were on mine and I was frozen once more feeling his soft, supple lips against mine.
Lust? Was that what these three were really feeling lately being the reason why Axel commanded me to not be with anyone while they were around, why they killed Todd, and scared off Kenneth and Marcus? Slowly, I felt Oscar's arms wrapped around my back and pull me into him and slowly I wrapped my arms around his neck letting him pull me in. The kiss was just a curious one until finally I put effort into it. I was curious if what he said was true and now I wanted to see this through. Maybe sleeping with all three of them will somehow bond us in a way we could finally trust one another and no longer feel in different.
Why not, I was their escort and if this is what they wanted in order for there to be no hostility in the end so our assignments could always end in success, then I would do it. Oscar held me closer to him, his hands starting to feel all over my body.
"If that cop comes around here again, I will do very horrible things to him." he said lowly and venomously against my lips. I suddenly felt my body reacting to his words, a soft throbbing forming between my legs. I also feel his hard on pressing into me through the slim fabric of his briefs.
"Your room." I whispered and he smiled mischievously, took hold of my hand and kissed my knuckles before pulling me quickly to his bedroom.
