CHP 13: New Plots develops

*At Middleton High*

After having a heated conversation with her former best friend, Tara makes her way to detention to serve her time. From there, she can check on Ron, who should be there now. She arrives at the room and instantly sees her boyfriend with a seat right next to him. Ron, with a sad expression, glances up and notices Tara at the door and smiles softly at her.

Tara brings out a small smile despite still being upset at Bonnie's actions as she sits down right by her boyfriend. Ron proceeds to whisper so they wouldn't get into trouble over talking during detention, asking, "Are you okay Tara? You seem down."

"Not really, but I will be. If anything, I'm more concerned about how you are feeling." Tara hopes to change the subject concerning why she's upset since she isn't fully ready to tell Ron about Bonnie.

"I honestly can't fully get over myself blowing up like that, but I'm glad you were there to calm me down," Ron answers.

"Me too," Tara says in a loving tone believing she is off the hook.

However, Ron isn't about to let his girlfriend's attempt to change the subject go unnoticed. "Now it's your turn. How did it go with Mr. Barkin? The way you came in, it seems like he gave you a hard time because of me?"

Ron's response throws Tara off guard, for she didn't expect him to catch on to what she was trying to do. Understanding that there is more about her boyfriend than people and especially Kim don't recognize, Tara takes Ron's hand and squeezes gently, saying, "I will tell you and Kim about it after we get out of detention. Just know it's not about Mr. Barkin."

Ron nods his head in acceptance, not wanting to push the issue yet can't help to feel concern. Thankfully for the couple, detention flew by fast with having homework to do. So once they were free to go, Ron and Tara hand to hand head to the gym to meet up with Kim. Of course, the first person Tara sees upon entering the gym is Bonne, who glances towards her friend.

When their eyes lock onto each other, she mocking stick her tongue at her, causing Tara almost to crush Ron's hand in anger. "Ow ow, Tara my hand!"

Tara quickly snaps out of her rage, noticing her boyfriend in pain and apologizes instantly. "I'm so sorry Ronnie."

Before Ron can question why Tara reacted like that, Kim walks over to them and shouts, "Hey lovebirds!"

Tara greets Kim first shyly with Ron asking, "Kp, how did practice go," while shaking his hand, attempting to stop it from hurting.

"Well, without you two, it felt off, especially with Bonnie not giving me as much of a hard time as usual. However, I think we manage when game time comes around. What's the stitch concerning you two's trip to the office?" Kim inquires as Ron shakes his hand in an attempt to heal it.

"That's what I want to talk to you both about at the same time. After Mr. Barkin told us about our punishment compare to Bricks, I ask about Bonnie, and he pretty much can't do anything towards her unless given solid evidence that she told Brick to do what he did." Tara explains, leading to a not surprise look from Kim and an upset expression from Ron.

"Can't or won't?" Ron doesn't hide the venom in his tone as it starts to click on why Tara seems upset earlier.

"As usual, Bonnie gets off with not even a slap to the wrist. Maybe I can get Wade to go through the surveillance videos from the school and see if he can find footage of Bonnie plotting the scheme." Kim rubs her chin, plotting on doing just that.

"Now that sounds like a plan to me Kp." Ron cheers his best friend on. Normally he would be more passive when it comes to Bonnie, but ever since the queen b's blow out with Tara and the Brick situation, a certain angry streak is beginning to grow.

"That would be nice to have some evidence to show Mr. Barkin. Though if Bonnie came up with the plan on school grounds, we won't be able to get it." Tara mentions wisely.

"Good point." Kim quickly pulls out her Kimmucator so she can contact Wade for help. "Wade, can you go through the school recent recordings and see if you can find footage on Bonnie saying anything about having Brick attack Ron at school."

"That's easier said than done, but I will see what I can come up with," Wade responds before getting to work on hacking the school's cameras.

"Please, and thank you." Kim hangs up and turns her attention towards her best friend. "In the meantime, we need to address the elephant in the room, unfortunately."

Ron sighs for there's no point in playing dumb. "I guess so, but can we not talk about it here at the school?"

"We could go to my place if that makes you comfortable?" Kim suggests, understanding that its best not to have this type of talk where people can hear them.

"Yes, that would be better." The trio leaves the gym and makes their way to Kim's place to discuss Ron's actions from earlier.

*Meanwhile near the school*

"What do you mean you are breaking up with me?!" Bonnie shouts in disbelief at her about to be ex-boyfriend Brick.

"I mean that you and I are over! Not only did you allow Stoppable to embarrass me, but you also left me high and dry when Mr. Barkin suspended me." Brick explains in a calm matter. After his meeting with the principal, Brick found out from the boys that Bonnie made sure her name was entirely in the clear when he assumed that she would bail him out.

"It's not my fault the loser grew a backbone out of nowhere, and what did you expect me to do? I would have gotten as much trouble as you or even worst!" Bonnie complains still not believing that Brick out of all people is ending things with her when most guys would dream of having a chance to date the Queen B.

Brick shakes his head with disappointment. Somewhere deep now, he knew Bonnie was wrong about how she ended things with Tara, but to see that he pretty much was a tool to her gain makes him a bigger fool than he thought. "This proves my point that you are selfish and only care about yourself. No wonder Tara stop being your friend, you are just as bad as your sisters."

Bonnie instantly slaps his face knowing that's a sensitive topic. "Screw you Brick!"

"No, screw you Rockwaller! If this suspension has some good in it is that it will give me time to reflect and be away from you. Goodbye Bonnie, karma is coming to you, and you can't avoid it forever. You better off owning up to the truth and realizing how lost you gotten before it gets too late." With his head held high feeling like a heavy load is off his shoulders, Brick walks away, leaving a piss off Bonnie alone with tears leaking from her eyes.

As she heads home, Bonnie continues to let her anger consume as she thinks about recent events up to now. "First, Tara turns her back on me, and now Brick dumps me. I will make them pay along with Possible and most certain that loser! He started all this trying to ruin my life, probably payback for all the name-calling. Regardless, I will refuse to let the lowest of the food chain get the best of me." Bonnie states out loud, not paying attention to her surroundings.

"Hmm, if you talking about my old buddy, then we seem to have a mutual friend in common." A recognizable voice says from behind her.

Bonnie looks behind her only for her eyes to go wide when she sees who it is. "How the..." Before she can start to question, the figure covers Bonnie's mouth and take her away.

AN: Yes, this is short, and it has been a long time since I updated this, but this is just to let you guys know that the story is still alive. I honestly ran into a writer block with this story, but I think I got a solid plan going here. If you have some input about how the story can go you can put in the review since I don't have a full idea of how long this fiction will go.

Also, I am open to having a beta reader for just my Kp fics, so if feel free to message if you are serious about doing so. My main thing is that I do try and go over it before posting as well as using the Grammarly app to help fix stuff but as the saying goes it's better to have an extra pair of eyes to help you catch something you made have missed.
