Before we begin. I want to say that the POLL is up on my profile. The list is there for where Naruto might end up in the crossover project. Chapter 58: is it so bad to be like you?

"What do you mean you're leaving!?"

Naruto looked into the glaring eyes of Ino as she stood in front of him. "Like I said Ino. I'm leaving Konoha for a while."

"Why?" Hinata joined Ino but instead of anger, she had a look of sadness

'Damn it...don't look at me like that, please. It makes this that much harder.' "the group that's after me is after those like me as well. They are going to need help."

Hinata shook her head at this "but why do you have to leave?"

"Because in a weird sort of way….I think of them as family. Aunts and uncles I never met heh heh. I feel like I need to save them along with the Jinchuriki that carry them."

Ino got into his face "but why you!? Why not send a messenger bird or something to the villages that have them? Why do you have to go out there where there is a group of people that are beyond even you?"

This wasn't just anger he felt from her. Not only could he feel it but he could see it. Ino was holding back tears at the thought of him leaving

"You leaving affects us the most you know."

"I know. But I'm the only one that can do this."

"No, you're not. You're just the one that cares to do it." Ino sighed before she felt all her energy begin to leave. She just leaned forward and pressed her forehead on Naruto's shoulder "...when are you leaving?"

"...a month…..more or less."

Hinata walked up behind Naruto and hugged him while burying her face in his back "then you are staying with us for the whole month,"

Looking over his shoulder he smiled as he nodded "got it." he looked down at Ino and noticed that her breathing had evened out. He realized that she had fallen asleep while leaning on him. He chuckled at this before he slowly bent down and picked her up in a bridal carry. Looking behind him and Hinata, he couldn't help but chuckle again at the out she had. "Come on Hinata-chan. Let's go to bed."

Hinata followed Naruto to his bedroom as the three decided that they would share a bed much to the Hyuga's delight.

Although Ino had no clue that this was happening, she found herself snuggling into the side of something really comfortable.

~Next Morning, Anko's apartment~

Anko was packing up a bag for Asa as they were going out into the village today. They would go out on these outings to slowly get Asa to get used to the people in the village and so far it had helped but not by much. At first, Asa would usually just be carried by Anko through the walk while hiding herself in Anko's breasts and coat. Later on, she would merely hide behind her coat while taking a peek out every now and then but hide every time someone came too close. Now she wouldn't hide but she would cling to Anko tightly while still being carried. "Come on Asa. it's time to go."

Asa walked into the room looking nervous about this "do we have to mommy?"

Anko smiled softly as she moved over to Asa and picked the girl up "I just want you to know that there isn't anything here that will hurt you. Especially while I'm around."

Asa felt better as she hugged Anko for being there for her.

Anko smiled before she went to pick up the bag and moved to the door. "Ok well, here we go. Oh, and I will be meeting with some people that I know. They won't hurt you or do anything."

"Is it the pretty lady with red eyes?" Asa remembered meeting Kurenai and thought the woman was nice.

Anko nodded "yep and a few others. Ready?"

Asa gripped tighter onto Anko but nodded

Both left the apartment heading to their destination

~restaurant, outdoor tables~

The group of Jonin senseis were enjoying their time off from their usual duties and gathered together to just relax and talk. They were also joined with Hana and Yugao when they ran into the two when they arrived.

Kurenai glared at Kakashi as he was doing his usual thing. Reading smut in public "you really should stop reading that in public."

Kakashi didn't even look up from his book "maa maa, it's not hurting anyone. And it's actually very entertaining. You should read it sometime."

"You couldn't pay me to read that."

Guy chuckled at this as it wasn't the first time that the two had this discussion. "Although it is your choice to read it, it is still unfaithful to have that where some youthful youths could see it. My eternal rival."

Kakashi turned the page before looking up at Guy "huh, you say something?"

Guy gained waterfall tears as he clenched his fist "curse you and your hip attitude Kakashi."

Yugao shook her head at their antics "do you guys do this every time you meet up?"

Asuma smiled as he pulled out a cigarette "call it routine." he put the cigarette in his mouth as he began searching his jacket for his lighter

Hana took a sip of her drink before asking "so how are your teams doing? I'm sure some of them have gotten under your skin at this point."

Kurenai shook her head "not really, though your brother does have a tendency to be brash and a bit overconfident at times, I think he is cooling down a bit since he saw that some of his friends are stronger than he is. Shino has come out of his usual silence and began speaking up a bit more. He still needs work on his taijutsu but he has made strides in his insect jutsu. Hinata has shown great improvement, even beyond what I teach her. I believe she is training exceptionally hard outside our team meetings. Though with how much she talks about Naruto, I can guess who is helping her."

Asuma perked up at this "kid seems to have that effect on the others Shikamaru is usually busier now and Choji is improving on his clan jutsu. Said he wants to keep up with his blonde rival. Although I think he is referring to the food contest they have. Ino is the one that seems to be affected the most by him. She seems happier now than ever and she keeps talking about the dates that she and Naruto went on. Also said that she was going to improve herself in order to catch up to him."

Kakashi nodded "He does have that effect on them. I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging but he was the strongest genin we have ever had. His strength is pushing the others to catch up to him. Sakura is also trying to catch up with him with her boyfriend Haku."

Upon hearing this, Kurenai remembered something that Asuma said she looked to Asuma to see that he had finally gotten his lighter. "Asuma, you said that Naruto went on a date with Ino. Are you sure that it was a date?"

Asuma paused from lighting his cigarette and looked at the woman "yeah. She said it was and had the biggest smile on her face."

Kurenai's mind was reeling. She knew for a fact that Hinata was dating Naruto but now she hears that he is also dating Ino. The boy was two-timing on Hinata and this was not acceptable in Kurenai's eyes. She was about to say something but she spotted a newcomer heading their way. She chose to stow her anger away for now. Especially with the newcomer

Anko raised her hand to the group as she waved at them

Everyone turned to look at Anko and were surprised to see her carrying a little girl.

Yugao was the first to ask as she is used to surprises "Hey Anko, who is your little friend?"

Anko smiled down at Asa who was once again hiding in her coat but peeking out to see who was talking to her mother. "Come on Asa, say hello."

Asa slowly removed herself from Anko's jacket as she waved to the group "...hello….are you mommy's friends?"

Kakashi looked up from his book "'mommy'?"

Anko smiled down at Asa who looked up at her "she means me."

Now even Yugao could not stop the look of shock to appear on her face

"WHAT!?"

Asa jumped and buried herself into Anko's breasts and whimpered a bit.

Anko glared at everyone before she knelt to the ground and pressed her hand on the ground.

Asa heard a poof of smoke but still remained hiding. That is until she heard a hiss and a little tickle on her cheek. Peeking out she saw a large green garden snake that had a tan underbelly "Hissy!" She hugged the snake around the neck, which was amusing to the adults since the snake just let the little girl hold onto it.

Anko glared at the others as she picked up the little girl again who was holding onto the snake and kissing its head. "Do you mind not making such loud noises? She isn't really that good with people around.

Asa began to ignore the world around her as Anko sat down

Anko looked at the group before she glared at Kakashi. In an almost unseeable move, she swiped the book from his hand and tossed it out of the restaurant. "Don't read that near her!"

Kakashi looked at his empty hand before he leapt out of the restaurant as if he was a dog after a bone.

Kurenai looked to Asuma and swiped away the cigarette from his mouth before crushing it. No smoking near the little girl.

Asuma hadn't even lit the thing and he was reprimanded for it. He sighed as he put his lighter away. He wasn't even going to light it anyway since he knew the dangers of having children nearby smokers.

Hana looked between the little girl and Anko and had to ask "what did she mean by mommy?"

Anko began to run her hand through her little girl's hair who was in her own little world hugging the snake "just like she said. She wanted me to be her mother, and I agreed. I'm happy that she sees me like that since ever since we rescued her, I have been taking care of her and I soon found myself seeing her as my little girl."

Kakashi came back and sat in his seat as he put the book away in his weapons pouch . "that's a big responsibility. You sure you're up for it."

Anko glared at Kakashi "you think you could do better?"

Kakashi raised his arms in surrender "no, no. I was just saying."

"Well don't say anything."

Yugao smiled as she saw Kakashi slump in his chair before looking at Anko "ok seriously though, are you able to handle taking care of her? I mean, no offense, but your place isn't that big and your job takes up a lot of time."

Anko sighed as she looked down at the little girl who was now sticking her tongue out, getting the snake to flick its tongue too.

"Bleeeh"

*hisssss*

"Bleeeh"

*hisssss*

Anko chuckled at this before answering Yugao "I was able to just get paperwork so I can still do my job while staying home with Asa. as for my place…" she hated the fact that she was having absolutely no luck in finding a place. She got the feeling that she was going to be taking Naruto up on his offer "...I have a plan to fix that soon."

Everyone nodded with Guy giving his nice guy pose "you've shown us the power of your youth. To take on this monumental task is enough to bring me to tears." he smiled as tears fell down his face but remained calm as he noticed the little girls distress when they all shouted

Asa stopped her tongue antics before looking at Guy. she stared at him for a minute which the adults thought odd before she pointed at him and said "funny man."

Guy face faulted as everyone laughed while Asa gave a confused look to Anko as she did not know what she said that was so funny

As Kurenai called her laughing, she looked to see the happy smile that Anko was giving the little girl. she had a sense of jealousy at the fact that Anko became a mother and a thought crossed her mind as her eyes flickered to Asuma 'I wonder what it is really like to be a mother.' she shook her head to rid the small blush she had and got back into the conversation her friends were now having

~Later~

Asa had gotten used to the jonin, much to Anko's delight. Asa was a little timid at first but after a few minutes, she couldn't help but find the group of people funny.

Now they were at the park and Anko was happy that there wasn't anyone around. This meant that Asa could play without worrying about Asa's fear. She watched as Asa slid down the slide but she was brought out of her watching when she heard

"ASA-chan!"

Asa looked to where the voice came from and smiled at who it was "DOLLY!" she got up and ran to the newcomer

Hanabi puffed out her cheeks as she heard this "I'm not a dolly." she was tackled by the younger girl and smiled.

Asa looked up at Hanabi and with pleading eyes asked "will you play with me?"

Hanabi instantly nodded her head and the two began to play on the playground, though Asa didn't like the fact that there was no swing.

Anko watched the two go off to play and smiled. Naruto had told her that Asa made her first friend in Hanabi Hyuga. She felt elated that her little girl was making friends.

"That one yours?"

Anko looked to her right to see another woman coming to stand next to her. Registering the question she nodded "yeah….she is. And you are?"

Hitomi stretched out her hand "I'm Hitmi Hyuga, mother of Hanabi Hyuga and Hinata Hyuga."

Anko and Hitomi watched as their daughters play in the playground

Right now Asa and Hanabi were hugging an otter that Hanabi had summoned much to Asa's amazement and delight

Hitomi looked to Anko and smiled "new to being a mother?"

Anko looked wide-eyed at the woman "how did you…?"

Hitomi chuckled "don't need to be a shinobi to see the signs. Adopted right." seeing the woman nod she continued "you have that look in your eye. You never expect to be a mother yet now that you are, you can't help but smile at everything she does. You have the look of a new mother that is happy to have a little girl in her life."

Anko was surprised about this but just shook her head with a smile "right on all accounts but how did you know I had that 'look'?"

"I was the same way." she looked to the two that were now running after the Otter "I can also tell she idolizes you. Her attire looks a bit like yours."

Anko looked down at herself and thought it was a bit of a stretch to see the connection. She was about to bring this up but was beaten to it.

"I've seen you around the village before and I remember what you use to wear. Her attire is like a kid's version of what you wore. She might be trying to be like you."

Ank frowned at that last bit "I don't want her to be like me though."

"Is it such a bad thing?"

Anko remained silent as she brought her hand up to the curse mark that was hidden by her coat.

"With how she is smiling, I would say that you are doing a good job so far. If she becomes like you then it will be the good points of you. As long as you care for her."

"I still don't think she needs to be like me at all. It could end up hurting her."

"But you are going to be there when she needs it."

"Of course!"

"As I said before, she will be taking your better parts because you want her to be happy, and with how she sees you then it's all the better."

Anko looked to Asa who was now tickling Hanabi while saying 'Dolly' she looked at Asa's attire and could help but think 'she could be the me that never got betrayed.' she smiled at the idea of Asa living a better life than she did.

Yeah, Asa can live a better life.

I'm sorry if this chapter is so short and maybe a bit subpar but I just couldn't bulk this up anymore. My brain just didn't work

Maybe I was burnt out a bit from the last chapter or maybe I'm just tired since it's late right now as I type these last few words

Naruto might get more girls, turning it into more of a harem but it all depends. also it might be just one or two more girls no super harem. too much trouble on that.
