Ok, I want to clear up a misunderstanding that was my fault. I should have worded it better but I can see where many of you are coming from. In THIS universe, Naruto will ONLY be with Hinata and Ino, NO ONE ELSE. When I said that I would be adding a girl or two to be with naruto, I was referring to the crossovers. Meaning, say Naruto ends up in the world of the familiar of Zero or young Justice, he MIGHT have a girl or two added to his very small harem (two girls doesn't really create a haram). So in Fox in the Leaf, it shall remain two, no more.

Sorry if my mistake upset you or you are disappointed that no more girls in this fic will be added but this is how I set it up.

Again sorry for my misleading words

Chapter 59: Confrontation

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!"

Naruto, Ino, and Hinata winced at the sound of the screaming Hokage who looked close to murder.

Naruto had decided that he should tell the Hokage his plan about the other Jinchuuriki and Bijuu, saying that it would benefit them in the long run since they would be hampering the Akatsuki's plan. Obviously, she was not happy about this. He had been putting off telling anyone else about his plan since he was worried about how they would react but he couldn't hold it off anymore. He needed to at least tell Tsunade about this as she was the one that had to give permission for him to go out and do it. Not that it would stop him, but he felt he should at least be somewhat professional about it

It had been a week since he told his girls and both of them had stuck with him almost on a daily basis as they wanted to spend as much time with him as they could. They even personalized their rooms, further claiming them as their own...although when they slept over, they didn't sleep in their rooms.

Naruto felt happy when he woke up with them sleeping next to him and in both his heart and mind he was going to miss that despite it being a recent development.

Right now he had another issue he had to deal with "Baa-chan you know that if I go to the other Bijuu and tell them about the Akatsuki, they will be more on guard and probably have the backing of their village."

Tsunade leaned back in her chair as she rubbed her temples to stop the headache that was coming on. In a way, Naruto's idea was a decent one that a good person would think up and if it worked, the Akatsuki would have more trouble getting what they want.

But that was not the world they live in

"Naruto although your intentions are good, you haven't thought about how the other villages see their jinchuuriki. From our intel on the others, they live as weapons, isolated from everyone else, and are looked down upon by everyone, even their leader. There is only one village that actually seems to care about their jinchuuriki and that is only because the leader is related to one of them. If ordered they would most likely attack you the second you come into view."

Naruto crossed his arms as he looked at Tsunade with a somewhat deadpan glare "how is that any different from how I was treated?"

Tsunade winced as she had heard of his treatment in his early years, heck she still remembered the tale the gaki gave her as to how he became what he is.

"Actually from what you said, the others sound like they were treated with a little more respect than me. They may have been treated as a weapon but at least in that view, they were seen as useful and acknowledged a bit. I was never treated as a weapon. I was treated as a monster by everyone in this village save for a few that I could count on one hand.

Hinata and Ino looked at Naruto with a bit of shock. Sure, they were told the story but Naruto seemed like he had gotten over this fact. Apparently there was still some lingering disdain for it

The civilians and even a lot of the Shinobi thought I was just a monster ready to be killed. Sure I had Jiji, Teuchi, and Ayame but that was three out of the rest of the village. I was able to gain more over time but that is still a small amount compared to everyone else. Actually I think a lot of the shinobi started to see me as more than a monster since they were told I took on the Ichibi during the invasion but the villagers still whisper to each other as I walk by." Naruto shook his head since he was getting off-topic but he just felt the need to say that. "Anyway, I know that the other villages don't like Konoha that much but this could help all of them. The Akatsuki are after their precious weapon…." Naruto gritted his teeth and his eyes shifted to slits but he continued "...and if they aren't warned about it, they will lose them. Heck, you said that one of the villages cares about their jinchuuriki so they might be willing to listen."

Tsunade steepled her fingers. She was still against this "the answer is still 'no'."

Naruto sighed and decided to add something more to this "they know that I'm here Tsunade and from what Kakashi has told me, there were two of them in the village not long ago to capture me. If I stay here, they will come back and more people might get hurt." seeing the woman still with the disagreeing face he continued "what if I had Ero-sennin with me?" seeing the women quirk a brow he tried to pounce on this "he can be my escort while I do this and he can even train me to get stronger."

"That is a tempting proposition but 'no'."

Naruto knew he had to use his last trump card. "Ok Baa-chan….how about a bet."

Tsunade felt the gambler in her taking hold. She tried to hold it back but it was proving to be too difficult.

A Chibi Tsunade that was in the Hokage robes was holding back another Chibi Tsunade that wore her usual outfit but with money signs as eyes. Gambler Tsunade kicked Hokage Tsunade away and leaped into Tsuandes head

The woman leaned on her palm with a smirk on her face "what kind of bet?"

'Hook. Line. and Sinker.' "you make a challenge for me within two weeks. If I lose the challenge, I will stay in the village…." he decided to sweeten the deal, to make sure she didn't back out. He pulled out a scroll and held it in front of him "I'll even give you this."

The three females were curious about what was in the scroll with the older woman asking "and what is in that?"

Naruto smirked as he unrolled it, placed it on the ground and unsealed its contents.

Tsunade remembered the last time he did that and if it was the same thing…

A massive pile of coins and bills were piled up where the scroll was and ANruto walked around it to look at Tsunade "I will give you this if you win."

Tsunade kept a stoic visage but her eyes were now coins as she now had the opportunity to win this beautiful sight in front of her. Shaking her head a little she spoke "and if I lose you get to go out on your personal mission."

Naruto smirked "I'll pay for an S-rank escort mission. That way the village gets some money back, and it would seem less suspicious."

Chibi Hokage Tsunade was pulling Chibi Gambler Tsunade out of Tsunade's head by the feet and was almost able to get her out until

"And while I'm out there…..I might be able to pay off some of your debts…."

CHT (Chibi Hokage Tsunade) let go of CGT (Chibi Gambler Tsunade) and jumped into Tsunade's head. Now both were saying the same thing "DO IT!"

Tsunade could not say 'yes' fast enough. Win or lose the bet, she still wins in the process

Naruto smirked at this. He knew that Tsunade wouldn't be able to say no to the deal he made. It was too tempting for the old woman. He smiled as he resealed the pile of money before he turned to her again "I'll be ready for the challenge." he began to leave the room but he noticed his girls weren't with him. Turning around he saw them standing in the same place. "Ino, Hinata?"

Ino looked back to Naruto as she smiled "go on ahead we have something we want to ask Lady Tsunade."

Naruto could see the look of determination in their eyes and nodded before he left the room

Tsunade looked to the two and wondered what they could want from her. "So what can I do for you two?"

Hinata took a step forward as she spoke "we wish for you to train us….."

Tsunade was surprised to hear this as this was not something she expected "and why would you want to learn from me?"

Ino stepped next to Hinata "we both realize how far behind we are from our peers. We want to become stronger to stand by them so we thought that you would be the best teacher for us."

Tsunade quirked an eyebrow at the two "behind 'your peers' or behind 'Naruto'?"

Neither girl flinched at being called out as Ino sighed and spoke "he has a tendency to overdo things and he always finds himself hurt. Even if he can heal fast because of his nature, it still bugs me that we can't help him out more. He trains himself constantly and he has a sanin teaching him. If we want to be able to stand by him we need to train just as hard or harder."

Tsunade could see the determination in both of their eyes. 'A Yamanaka and a Hyuga. The latter is a new one since the clan usually don't even consider medical jutsu. Her Byakugan could make her an exceptional medic. The Yamanaka's chakra control could push her to be just as good. These two…...it would be interesting to see how far they go.'

~outside~

Naruto decided that he would get some training done today since he had nothing else to do but he stopped when he felt some anger aimed at him. Now, this wasn't anything new but it felt a lot more than what the villagers usually gave. He suddenly found himself being lifted from his jacket and was being carried off. It was so sudden that he found himself flopping in the air but he did catch the scent of who it was. '...uh oh…'

~Random training ground~

Naruto landed on his ass as he was dropped unceremoniously. Looking up, he realized that it was a lot worse than he thought it was.

Standing in front of him was a very angry, Inoichi, Kurenai, and Asuma though the latter seemed far less angry than the other two

Naruto got to his feet and nervously asked "uh what's up?"

Kurenai crossed her arms as she tapped her foot "tell me Naruto-san, is it true?"

Naruto knew he was in trouble for something but he didn't know what. But his prankster side had to show up today "yes it's true…. I took away Asuma's cigarettes and replaced them with disguised candy sticks that one time."

Asuma's widened a bit before he internally chuckled 'so that's why the whole pack tasted so sweet.'

Inoichi huffed as he stepped forward to tower over the boy "not that! Are you really dating both Hinata and my daughter?!"

Naruto had his head tilted up at an 85-degree angle as he looked into the eyes of Ino's angry father 'ooooooohhhhh that's what they're angry about…..hmm' "...yes…"

Inoichi did not stop his glare, in fact it seemed to harden "and?"

Naruto tilted his head a bit "and what?"

Asuma pulled the cigarette out of his mouth before letting out a puff of smoke "what do you have to say for yourself kid?"

Naruto took a few steps back so he would need to crane his neck anymore. He rubbed the back of his head as he said nonchalantly "um….. I have a date with Hinata tomorrow and one with Ino the day after and the day after that the three of us are going on a picnic at one of the parks."

The three adults' mind's paused at what he had said. The first two seemed he was going behind the girls' back, to date the other but the last one made it seem like

Asuma was the first to speak "hang on kid, are you saying that you date them both with them knowing about each other?"

"Um duh. Why would I keep it a secret? It's not like they don't know about the other. Heck, it was Ino's idea for the three of us to be together."

Inoichi's brain seemed to be malfunctioning at the moment "WHAT?!"

Kurenai put her hand on her hip as she waved with her other hand in the air "regardless, Naruto-san, you shouldn't be dating the two of them at the same time."

"Why?"

This caught her for a loop as she expected it to be obvious "because it is wrong and disrespectful to them…"

"Says who?" he asked with a bit of irritation present

Kurenai was about to continue but was cut off from the boy

"I care for both of them with all my heart. I would do anything to make sure that they are happy and that they aren't in any danger ever again!"

The fury in the kid's voice shocked them all with Inoichi asking "what do you mean in danger again. They are shinobi, 'danger' is in the job description…"

"BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I AM GOING TO STAND AROUND AND WATCH THEM DIE LIKE BEFORE!" A shockwave erupted from where he stood and it pushed the three back as they were unprepared for it "you ever lose someone important to you. And not just a teammate or fellow shinobi, I'm talking about someone you love." not receiving an answer he continued "they almost died during the Suna invasion. I saw it happen as I was maybe 40ft away. I was pinned to a tree and saw them being enveloped in sand that was going to crush them. I used all my strength to get free but when I was finally able to move, the sand that enveloped them crushed them. I stood there helpless at the sight and felt my heart break because of it." he clutched his shirt over where his heart was supposed to be. "It hurt….more than anything I have felt before. I lost them and I couldn't do anything to stop it. When the invasion was over, I was angry! I was angry that the two most important people in my life died right in front of my eyes! I wished for them back, I wanted them back but in my head, they couldn't come back!" Naruto's angered look melted into a smile "it was then that I saw them come out of the forest where I fought. I couldn't believe it. They stood there in front of me without a scratch. I thought it was a dream. A dream I did not want to wake up from. But it was real. I later found out that a pair of my clones were lucky enough to have survived and arrived at my fight just in time to use the Kawarimi on both of them, taking their place. I swore to myself that I would never let them get that close to death again and I don't plan on separating from them either." he looked the three adults in the eye "you may think it is wrong for me to be with them at the same time but they are the best thing to happen to me and no one is going to take them away from me." he turned around and lept away to find Hinata and Ino, not waiting for what they would say.

The three stood there with different thoughts running through their minds

'My little girl almost died and she didn't tell me?' Inoichi felt the need to find his daughter and ask what happened but she hadn't come home in about a week and she wasn't staying at either the Akimichi compound or the Nara compound.

Asuma took a drag from his cigarette 'kid has more on his plate than any kid his age should have. Shinobi or not, he is too young to have to deal with that kind of pain. He was lucky to keep them alive but he might not be so lucky next time.'

Kurenai still felt that it was wrong of the boy to be dating two at once but she was a little conflicted at this. It seemed like he cared about the two immensely 'I should talk to Hinata about this. I also want to ask her what she thinks about it.' her mind then went to what the boy said 'losing someone you love….' she had not yet felt this kind of pain as she had not yet lost anyone that close to her. She had lost teammates and comrades before but she got over that. But to lose that special person…' she looked to Asuma and just the thought hurt. 'It must have been agonizing.'

Inoichi sighed as this was not how he expected this confrontation to go. He looked to the other two "I should go talk to my daughter about this. She never told me about that incident and I would like to know exactly what happened." he left the two alone as he went to look for Ino

Asuma pulled out his cigarette before dropping it to the ground and stepping on it to make sure it was out "kids got more on his shoulders then the rest of them. Seems like his life is just a hard one."

Kurenai sighed "still though…"

"Come on Kurenai, let them have this. He isn't hiding it from them and there isn't a law that says he can't date them both."

"I still think it wrong"

Asuma placed a hand on her shoulder "I know, but it's their lives. We may guide them as best we can but with something like this, it's better that they choose, not us. besides…..I think the kid deserves some happiness."

Kurenai sighed in defeat but this didn't mean that she wasn't going to talk with Hinata about this.

"Come on, I know a nice restaurant we can have lunch at, my treat." he began to walk back to the village

Kurenai quirked an eyebrow at the man "didn't we just have a date yesterday?"

He looked back and with a smile, asked "What's your point?"

Kurenai shook her head as she followed Asuma for another lunch date

Another short one but there isn't much more I can add without it being tediously redundant

Well, Ino and Hinata have asked Tsunade to take them on as apprentices. Sakura will be joining too but I wanted to give Ino and Hinata a bit of a heads start.

Well, it's almost time for Naruto to leave but he has a few things to take care of before that.

Next chapter will have a sort of returning character.
