Just to be clear: THIS CHAPTER STARTS TALKING ABOUT VIOLENT THEMES!

Now, let's get back to the story!

Chapter 5: Unfolding of a Major Secret

Konohagakure no Sato

Multiple gasps were heard in the Hokage's office. The killer intent inside the room suddenly had increased tenfold. Even those who already knew about the event couldn't hold on to their emotions. All the kunoichi in the room were in tears shuddering at the thought of rape. Their killer intents seemed to make the means' killer intent meager at the best.

'How cruel could people get? Did they not see that she was as much a human as they were? How dumb were these people to live in a ninja village and not know the difference between a kunai and the scroll it was being held in?' Such thoughts ran through most of the occupants.

Some were even planning the worst torture/ return gift they could give to such people. But all in all, everyone was wondering how much the blonde had actually had to suffer.

"Shishou, were there any consequences? I mean, I know it must have caused a lot of mental trauma. But w-what about ph-physical? Did she…?", Sakura tried to frame her sentence with immense worry for her teammate and friend.

But Tsunade's reply was once again cut off by the brooder in the corner. Just a slow but firm whisper.

"Yes. That piece of garbage had the guts to put her through all that pain. He had no right to even have such thoughts about her. None of them had the right to violate her in such a manner. NO ONE!" With that, he broke down. Iruka immediately went to comfort him. The others, even though they hated Sasuke for leaving Naruto just a few years after that incident, could empathise with him. Even they wanted to tear down that guy and make him feel immense pain and die the most painful death. But most of all, all the rookies other than Neji were shocked to see the amount of care and love the Uchiha had for their currently missing friend.

They all waited in silence. Now everyone wanted to hear the exact account of what had happened from the witnesses themselves. The next few minutes had been spent with only the sound of the loud cries of the Uchiha. Amidst the painful cries and the whispers of condolences, everyone seemed to be lost in their own thoughts. Some with the images of the past, others with the imagination of the horrors they had heard and the rest with their imagination running wild and trying to find answers.

"She got pregnant", a voice startled all of them. They all turned to the source and saw a lady with black hair holding a pink pig in her hands. She gave a firm answer, "She got pregnant and refused to have an abortion".

"Y-you me-mea-mean….", Hinata started frightfully but was cut by Shizune's nod and answer, "Yes. She gave birth at the age of seven".

"Bu-But how could we not have known this? She attended the academy with us!", Kiba tried to reason.

"You forgot Kiba. Naruto didn't attend a whole year with the rest of us. Remember?", Shikamaru said as he tried to make everyone recollect. "The two semesters following the Uchiha massacre. We all were told that Naruto had failed the previous semester and so needed special classes and a different training regimen to be brought to our level. Then, a year later, she came back, looking absolutely exhausted, wearing baggier clothes than before. She threw multiple pranks right after we saw her. We all just assumed that she was doing so to remind everyone that she was back. But now, I think she just did it to distract the rest of us".

"Now that I think about it, that whole semester, Iruka didn't even once scold her for coming late. The only time he scolded her was when she got caught playing a prank. Also, every time we bunked classes that semester, she gave an excuse and ran away and only came back before the next classes started. Coming to think of it, the whole year that she disappeared, it was almost like she slowly disappeared. At first, she was caught a few times for playing pranks. But as the months went by, her appearances in public drastically reduced. Mendokusē" Shikamaru explained his observations further.

"Good observations, Shikamaru." Asuma praised. "You are right. Once we realised Naruto's situation, Tōsan along with Naruto put a plan in place to make Naruto disappear without anyone suspecting it. We stated in her academic records that she had failed the previous semester and so was being personally tutored by Iruka, Kurenai and me. We then took Naruto into hiding which was only known by a few of us. She remained there until a month after giving birth and then moved in with each of us for a few days before finally taking residence where no one would expect her, the Uchiha estates."

"But Sensei… What I don't understand is how Sasuke-kun got caught into this loop", Ino took the stage to clarify her major doubt.

"That's because Sasuke was the first one to get to know about Naruto's situation. Naruto had revealed what had happened to Sasuke who brought her to Sandaime-sama to spill out the truth.", answered Shizune. "Sasuke had been by her side every minute that he wasn't in the academy. He was the one to support her through the whole pregnancy. He was there when she gave birth as Iruka was in the academy at that time."

At this statement, along with the Rookies, the Konohamaru corps, Anko, Ibiki, Kurenai and even Tsunade gasped. No one other than those who were present during the birth and Iruka knew of this. Looking at Tsunade's surprise, everyone was confused about who could have been there if not for her.

"Tsunade-sama and Jiraya-sama were forbidden from being seen around the village. Also, Tsunade-sama still was afraid of blood. So Sandaime-sama called for me. I was the one who did the delivery and Sandaime-sama and Kakashi stayed to keep the seal under control.", Shizune answer to clear up their confusion.

"We had played it such that Naruto and Sasuke still disliked each other. So we decided not to disclose this information to anyone apart from those who were there that day." Kakashi reasoned. "The only reason why Iruka knew was that Naruto wanted either him or Sasuke with her when she gave birth."

"It was very youthful of Sasuke to help Naruto. But what I don't get is why would Naruto even tell Sasuke when both of them clearly held a grudge?", questioned Lee.

"Because she is my sister", came the soft but clear answer from the Uchiha who had finally stopped crying.

Phew! Done with this chapter.

Hmmm... Did someone expect that ending? Now did you realise why no SasuNaru? How do you like this idea?

Also, I did mention that it was an OOC Sasuke. He is emotional for the reason at the end of the story. More details will come on this matter in the upcoming chapters. For the matter related to Naruto, I know (as a female, myself) that it is an extremely risky topic and thing to do. But Naruto didn't have a family and he had to decide everything in her life since she was three. So it majorly went on her mindset.
