Bonnie walked down the hall of the school while fixing his backpack that was over his shoulder. He rubbed his hand through his purple fur. He can to a turn and looked over to see her standing there at her locker with her best friend. He let out a deep breath before taking a step forward when he felt something bump into his shoulder. He looked over to see Barky walking right past him. He growled as he gripped his bag in anger.

He watched as Barky approached the girls and placed his hand onto the locker beside Chi. Mangle and Chi looked at him as he started talking to them. Bonnie watched as Chi said something to him before they walked away. Bonnie fought back the urge to laugh at Barky's face as the girls walked away from him.

Bonnie sat in the cafeteria sitting at a table with his friends; Freddy, Chica and Foxy. He sat there playing with his food while the others were talking about something that he wasn't really interested in. Chica laughed as Freddy said something that she found funny while Foxy made a face. Foxy looked over to say something to Bonnie when he realized that he wasn't paying attention. He jabbed his elbow making Bonnie look at him.

"What," Bonnie asked.

"Are you okay pal," Foxy asked looking concern.

"Yeah I'm fine Foxy."

"What's going on," Freddy asked.

"Bon is spacing out," Foxy explained.

"Bonnie what's wrong," Chica asked.

"It's nothing guys," Bonnie replied.

"I don't buy that," said Freddy, "does this have to do with Chi?"

"No," Bonnie replied, "it's nothing."

"I thought that you were going to ask her out today," Foxy asked, "you made it clear that you were going to ask her out."

"Yeah, I even gave my blessing," Chica replied.

"I was but Barky got in the way as usual."

"Are you going to let him get in the way?"

"No, it's just…"

"Don't even start," Freddy roared, "you've been making excuses for why you are afraid and I'm exactly getting tired of it."

"I'm with Freddy on this," said Chica, "You are a great guy and if there is any guy that I would be okay with her dating it's you."

"You know that Chica is very protective of her baby sister," said Foxy, "and the fact that she's okay with you dating her says a lot."

Bonnie looked over to where Chi was sitting with her friends. He watched as she laughed at a joke that someone told at their table. Foxy stood up from his chair and grabbed Bonnie's arm pulling him up to his feet.

"Foxy, what are you doing," Bonnie cried out.

"Making sure that you don't chicken out again,"

"I heard that," Chica said as she and Freddy followed behind them.

"Sorry Chica,"

"You should ask her out Bonnie," said Freddy, "There's no reason why you shouldn't try."

Bonnie grabbed Foxy's hand and removed it from his arm. His friends stood there looking at him as he did this.

"Guys, have you even considered that she might not want anything to do with me," he asked, "I might just be her friend's older brother."

"Don't be like that bud," said Foxy.

"Yeah, you won't know that Bonnie," Freddy replied, "You'll never know unless you try."

Bonnie was about to say something but Chica pushed him toward the table. He cried out as she kept pushing him toward the table. TB looked up as he heard his brother's cries. He saw that Chica was pushing him toward their table. He jabbed Chi with his foot. She looked at him annoyed to see that he was pointing to the older teens heading their way.

"Hey guys," said Freddy.

"Hey Freddy," said Fred, "what's going on?"

"Bonnie has something that he wants to ask Chi," Chica replied.

"Chica," Bonnie cried out but before he could say anything else he was cut off.

"You do," Chi asked.

Bonnie turned to look at her. He could feel his heart racing in his chest. Chi stood up from her table and walked over to him.

"What is it that you wanted to ask me," she asked.

Bonnie couldn't speak as his mind was racing trying to think of a way out this situation. Foxy came him a push closer to her.

"Um," he said rubbing the back of his head, "I was wondering if you would…"

Before he could say anything the bell rang signaling the end of lunch. TB, Mangle and Fred stood up with their things. Mangle handed Chi her bag.

"Talk to you later," she said.

"Yeah," he replied.

"I'll see you later Foxy," said Mangle.

"See you later princess," Foxy replied before they kissed.

Bonnie turned watching her walk away with her friends. He let out a sigh. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Freddy looking at him with a sorrowful look.

Bonnie was sitting in the bleachers watching the cheerleaders practice. Chi was standing on top of the pyramid. He would hang out on the bleachers after school to watch Chi. He watched as she fell backwards only to get caught by the rest of the team. He looked down at his math textbook and notebook trying not to get caught staring.

"Great show isn't it," said a voice.

Bonnie looked up to see Barky and his friends standing there on the track watching squad. Bonnie could feel rage burning in his chest at the sight of him. The squad stopped to take a break. Chi walked over to a bench nearby to get a drink of water. Barky walked over to her with his friend right behind him. Bonnie stood up and made this way down the stairs leading to the field. Barky stopped behind Chi and reached his arm around her waist.

"Hey," she cried out as he pulled her toward him.

"Hey there beautiful" he said with a smirk.

"What are you doing," she asked pushing him away.

"What's wrong," Barky asked.

"You're touching me without my permission that's what's wrong."

"I'm not seeing the problem, you're my girl,"

"Where did you get that idea? I've told you that I'm not interested."

"I don't buy that, I know that when a girl says no they mean yes."

"That's not logic, that's ignoring someone's words."

Barky to reach for her again but Chi slapped his hand away. Bonnie ran toward them calling out to get their attention. They turned to see him running toward them. Bonnie punched Barky in the face causing him to fell back a bit.

"What's your deal bunny boy," he hissed.

"She told you to back off," Bonnie snapped.

"You shouldn't interrupt a couple's spat," said one of his friends.

"Shiver it Al," Bonnie hissed, "he should know better to back off when a girl says no."

"You damn rabbit," Barky spat, "I'll teach you to interfere with me. Al, Greg, hold 'im!"

Both of Barky's friends grabbed either of Bonnie's arms from behind. Barky walked over and slammed his fist into Bonnie's gut causing Bonnie to cry out in pain. Chi tried to stop Barky from going at him again but she ended up getting back onto the ground. Barky grabbed a broken pole that broke off one of the goal post on the football days prior.

He bashed the pole into Bonnie's head causing blood to shot out his nose. Chi got back up and went to stop Barky again only to get hit with the pole in the head instead. Bonnie watched as she went down hitting the ground. He could see blood pouring out of her head. He roared out in rage and kicked one of the teens holding him in the groin making him release his grip. He used his now free hand to bash the other in the face.

The teen fell onto the ground hitting his face as he cried out in pain. Bonnie tackled Barky to the ground as he wrestled the pole away from him. He managed to take it away from him and threw it aside before he ran toward Chi's side.

"Chi, Chi," he called, "can you hear me!"

He noticed that she was responding to him. He could hear someone shouting that the police were on their way. He was beginning to feel helpless watching the girl that he loves bleeding out in front of him.

Bonnie had ridden to the hospital with Chi in the ambulance while calling Chica to tell her what happened. Once they reached the hospital; Chica had shown up with Freddy at her side. Fred was with them since Chi was his friend. Bonnie had told them what happened as Chi was taken to the emergency room. Freddy had called Foxy; who showed up with TB and Mangle at the hospital when he got off with Freddy.

Bonnie sat in the waiting room while Mangle was walking back and forth too worried about her best friend to even sit down. Chica had been allowed in to see Chi first since she was her sister and the only family member that was in town while their parents was out of the country for business. Freddy stood there leaning against the room watching the clock. TB and Fred were just sitting there looking at the door waiting to see if Chica would come out with news.

Foxy was talking with his mother on the phone to explain that he would be late going home and tell his father that he wasn't able to get back in time for their hiking trip. Foxy hung up the phone and walked over to comfort Mangle. He wrapped his arms around his girlfriend waist pulling her toward his chest. Bonnie could only watch them as he sat there waiting.

Freddy sat down beside him. Bonnie looked at him to see that Freddy was texting with someone. He figured that it was to his older brother Gold telling him what was going on. Freddy leaned back into the chair with a sigh of relief.

"What's up Freddy," Bonnie asked.

"Chica just texted me, they were able to stop the bleeding and have dressed the wound," Freddy explained.

"Is she awake yet," Bonnie asked.

"No," Freddy replied with a small head shake, "The doctor says that she's still in critical condition."

"What about Barky?"

"I've texted my brother and he said that he hasn't heard anything yet."

TB pulled out his phone and was about to text his and Bonnie's mother when he noticed something that caught his attention.

"Bro," he said as he moved to closer to his brother.

Bonnie leaned forward to see that their mother had texted them a footage of the school and the incent. TB hit play and the camera panned to the football field where the incent had happened. Their mother appeared on screen with her microphone in hand.

"Tragedy strike the local high school as a student was attacked with a pole. According to students the pole was from an old run down goal post on the football field that collapsed several days prior. A fight broke out before the attack between four high school students. The witnesses say that one boy tried to touch a female student without her permission where another male student stepped in and tried to break them up.

He stroked the other male student in the face to get him away from the female student. Afterwards two other boys held him as the other student started beating him before picking up the pole and used it to strike the teen in the head. When the attacker was about to strike again the female student tried to stop the fight but was stroked instead causing her to bleed out. Currently the girl was sent to the hospital and of the moment there is no news but so far she is in critical condition. We will bring you more as it comes available."

The video ended there and underneath was her asking if Bonnie was okay. Bonnie held his hand to his bandage that was wrapped around his head. His injury wasn't too bad as Chi's was. The doctor that told him not to do anything too active in case he may open up the wound again causing blood to pour out. He didn't need to rest in a hospital bed since it was mostly a fresh wound. TB texted their mother telling her that Bonnie was fine and that they were waiting to hear from Chica about Chi.

Bonnie leaned back as his little brother was texting their mother. He had received text from his mother asking if he was okay which he replied that he was fine and just had to be careful in being active for a while. TB looked up at the clock as it ticked along. Freddy was continuing to text Chica asking for updates on Chi.

Chica was sitting in the room beside Chi's hospital bed. When Bonnie had texted her and told her what happened; she was on a date with Freddy. Chica was horrified to hear that her little sister was hurt. She told Freddy; who drove her to the hospital. Chica had waited at the hospital for the ambulance. Once the ambulance arrived Chica was trying to get to her baby sister. Freddy had to hold her back as the medics took Chi to the emergency room.

Bonnie had an injury to his head but it wasn't as bad. He was able to get patched up on the spot while Chi had to be rushed to the hospital. Bonnie came out of the ambulance and told them the whole story. Chica was pissed that this happened but grateful that Bonnie was there. Chica had been allowed in since she was a family member.

She contacted their parents and let them know what happened. Unifornitaly their parents couldn't come home to see their daughter, they were still worried. They told Chica to keep them in the loop. Chica looked over at Chi after texting Freddy letting him know what was going on. She sighed and leaned back in her chair.

She placed her hand under her beak. She was going to make sure that Barky will pay for this. A noise came from the bed drawing her attention. Chi's eyes slowly begin to open. She jumped to her feet and ran over to the bed.

"Chi," she called, "are you alright?'

"Chica," Chi asked with a groan.

"Yes, it's me,' Chica replied, "How are you feeling."

"I got a splitting headache."

"Well, you did get hit in the head.'

They giggled at that comment. Chi slowly sat up in the bed with Chica helping her. Chica stepped back a bit to let her sit up.

"Do you need anything," she asked.

"Yeah something for my headache," Chi replied.

Chica nodded and hit the call button for the nurse. Chi closed her eyes for a bit as the lights weren't helping her headache at all. The nurse came in to see that she was awake. She gave her something to help with the pain then she went to get the doctor to examine her.

"Where's Bonnie," Chi asked, "is he okay?'

"He's fine," said Chica, "he only has a fresh wound."

"That's good,"

"How can that be good? You got seriously hurt!'

"Well, I'm more so worried about Bonnie. You know that I love him."

"I know but you should look after yourself too."

"Right, I'll remember that next time."

The doctor came into the room and began do some test with her vision and hearing. Chi sat there as he did this while Chica was texting Freddy letting him know that she was awake and that they were going to run some test.

Freddy heard his notications goes off and checked his phone to see that Chica had texted him. He opened the text to see that Chi was awake and was getting tested.

"She's awake," he announced to his friends.

"Is she okay," Mangle asked.

"They're running test now," Freddy replied.

"That's good to hear," said Fred.

Bonnie was relieved to hear that Chi was awake now. Freddy leaned in to whisper in his ear making him blush.

"She asked about you," he whispered.

Bonnie turned away from Freddy after said that. He heard his own phone going off and checked to see that it was Chi checking to see if he was okay. He replied telling her that he's fine and asking if she was okay. The door opened causing him to look to see Chica stepping out into the waiting room. Freddy got up and walked over to her.

"What's going on," he asked

"They're taking her to get a TC scan,' Chica replied, "They want to check to see if there is any brain damage."

"I hope that isn't the case,' said Mangle.

"So does the rest of us," Freddy replied.

Chi was released from the hospital after a few days but according to the doctor; that she would have a headache for a few days and that lights could make it worse. She was given a note to give to the school from the doctor saying that if she was feeling a headache then she should go to the nurse to lay or take medience to help her if needed.

Bonnie was sitting on the bleachers doing his homework for some fresh air. He was focusing on the problem that he was working that he didn't notice the footsteps walking toward him. Chi stood there looking down at him.

"Hey Bonnie," she said making him jerk up.

"Oh hey Chi, what's up," he replied.

She sat down next to him. He could feel his heart race as he watched her sit down. He turned to look ahead to the football field where the football team was practicing.

"So, how's your head doing," he asked.

"I'm okay right now," she replied, "the coach said that I can't practice or perform with the squad for a while."

"I'm not surprised about that,' he said, "you should take it easy for a while."

"I wanted to thank you for coming to my rescue the other day."

"Don't mention it; I'm just glad that you're okay."

"Hey Bonnie I was wondering if you like to…."

Bonnie placed a hand onto her shoulder. She looked at him as he leaned forward pressing his mouth against her beak. She sat there frozen in shock as he kissed her. He pulled away and packed his things into his bag before getting. Chi was sitting there too stunt to move from the kiss. He swung his bag over his shoulder.

"I'm sorry," he replied before walking down the stairs toward the field.
