It was a beautiful afternoon. Marinette decided to go out to one of her favorite places. The bench near the river Seine. She liked sitting there, looking into the distance, sketching her designs… It was very relaxing and nice. She sat down and looked at the river. The sun reflected its rays off of the river making it seem like it's shinning. Maybe a dress with glitter. She happily started sketching in her sketchbook. She was a bit tired from all the akumas, so naturally her drawings were a bit sloppier than usual. She looked back at the river. The clouds started covering the sun a little. Maybe it will rain? She kept her gaze on the river waiting for inspiration to strike her. Any second now. Suddenly someone familiar approached her. Adrien. Adrien Agreste. Why? Why here, of all places? She started blushing as soon as he greeted her.

"Hey, Marinette. What are you doing?" he asked with an innocent smile.

"Oh, just designing clothes." she answered a little bit nervously. Maybe the river had a healing power to her stuttering.

"That's cool. Can I see it?" he asked with an even bigger smile. She handed him the sketchbook and he started flipping through it. Maybe he'll steal her designs and hand them over to his father. No, what? Keep it together, Marinette. You know, he would never do that. Then, why was he so interested in them. Maybe she's just overthinking everything again.

"These are really good, Marinette. What are you designing them for?" he asked, locking his eyes onto hers. She almost stopped breathing. Why is he looking at me like that? Wait, answer his question.

"J-just f-for f-f-fun." Great, the stuttering is back.

"Cool. Do you mind if I sit next to you while you work?" he asked looking at the river. Of course, I do! I won't be able to focus. But I can't turn him down, can I?

"Sure. " she answered and looked back at her sketchbook. After a few minutes, her eyelids started pulling themselves together. I could take a nap. Just a little nap. It won't last long. Just a little…

She woke up feeling a bit weird. Wait, what happened? She looked around herself and saw a familiar face breathing against her hair. She jumped a little (as little as she could) and looked at him. He fell asleep too. She tried to move, so she could go home but when she did, Adrien hugged her tighter. It didn't help that his hands were on her stomach and he was breathing into her neck. She wanted to move. Slightly. Nope, he pulled her back into him. She thought about waking him up but that would be even worse. He was sleeping for a reason. It would be selfish to wake him up. But what else was she supposed to do. She decided to wait and first figure out, how they even ended up in a hug like this. She was pretty sure, she didn't fall asleep, leaning against his chest. She assumed that it was either him, who moved her or a third person. But they were alone. Maybe the person escaped. But why? Who did this and why? Maybe they did it in their sleep. But how? She kept asking herself all the questions that came to her head. She slowly began feeling sleepy again. He's warm and another nap can't do much damage, can it?

She woke up again, this time in a very different position. She was laying on a bench, her hands were laying against his chest, his arms wrapped around her waist and their legs, on top of one another. She opened her eyes to see the green ones staring back. Oh oh. She turned her head away from those beautiful emerald eyes and looked around. There is no way someone is not messing with them.

"Um, Marinette?" the green eyed boy looked at her. "Why are we laying on a bench like this?" he asked. Such an innocent child.

"I am not sure. But I do know that someone has been putting us in these positions." she answered, looking around, frowning, thinking of possible suspects. They both just laid there for a couple of minutes before they decided to stand up and pull apart. Suddenly, the warmness disappeared. I didn't realize how warm he was. She wanted to pull him back into a hug but she knew that would be embarassing. She looked at him and he looked back, both visibly flustered by the whole incident. Ding. A notification sound went off on Marinette's phone. She pulled it out of her purse and unlocked it. Her jaw dropped. Alya sent her pictures of her and Adrien sleeping on that bench in different positions. It was her. The next thing she knew Adrien also received the photos and started blushing heavily.

"Um, I-I better go. My bodyguard is waiting. See y-ya tomorrow. Bye." he rushed away, leaving Marinette alone as red as a tomato, very flustered. What just happened? She looked back at the river and stood up. She saw the grey clouds already builded up in the sky. It's going to rain. She wanted to run from that place but something was stopping her. The rain started slowly dripping, each minute intensifying the power of it. She was soaked. When her body finally started moving, she found herself wondering if she'll ever look at that bench the same again.
