"Huh!" called Bakugo as he marched up the pathway, "who the hell is this?" he growled as he reached Izuku. A few days earlier he had agreed to train with Izumi and after meeting her outside her dorm in the evening after school he had led her to the clearing, he and Bakugo often practiced in. Tonight, hadn't been one of the evenings he had planned to train with Bakugo so he hadn't expected him to show up.

"Kacchan," he greeted him with a smile, ignoring his hostility, "this is my sister Izumi. She wanted me to show her some self-defence moves"

"So?" scoffed Bakugo, glaring past Izuku to Izumi, "I don't care who she is, she's a rookie and will just get in my way" he went on, moving to the opposite side of the clearing, his usually position he takes up before starting combat training with Izuku.

"I wasn't aware we had plans to train tonight" commented Izuku, his smile wavering slightly

"Well we're both here so why not" shot back Bakugo, starting to stretch his arms above his head.

"I promised I'd train with Izumi tonight" shot back Izuku, his patience starting to be tested. Bakugo was always strong headed, but it was starting to get on his nerves. He and Izumi had only just arrived at the clearing themselves and he hadn't had a chance to start anything with her yet.

"She can watch" grinned Bakugo, bending his knees and lowering his centre of gravity, ready to begin.

"I can do better than just watch" spat Izumi as she stepped forward with a determined face.

"You wanna try me freckle face?" grinned Bakugo

"Izumi" hissed Izuku quietly to her as she stepped up beside him, "you don't want to do this" he warned

"Why?" she asked without taking her eyes from Bakugo.

"He's not the type to go easy on you just because you're new at it" he whispered back

"I don't need him to go easy on me" she replied. A determined smirk growing on her face.

"You two done whispering yet!" shouted Bakugo from across the clearing, "I'm getting bored"

"Do you want me to intervene?" asked Izuku, his eyes glued to Bakugo as he rolled his shoulders in preparation. If they waited much longer, he might just spring on them both.

"No, I got this. It's a good starting point anyway" she turned her face to smile reassuringly at Izuku and taking her word for it and choosing to trust her he took a step back to the edge of the clearing.

As though that single step back was a signal to begin, Bakugo launched himself forward with a dual blast from his palms to cross the space between he and Izumi, bringing his hands forward to attack as he neared her. She was unprepared for his quick approach and in the brief moment of her panic Bakugo let loose a blast of bright light from his palms, blinding her as he closed the last couple of meters between them. Izumi instinctively lifted her arms to cover her eyes which is exactly what Bakugo had expected her to do and as he brought himself to a swift stop in front of her, he grabbed her raised forearm and turning on his heels he twisted and threw her off to the side. She hit the ground; the air being forced from her lungs as she rolled to a stop on the dirt. Lowering her arms, she still saw spots as Bakugo blasted himself into the air and came down, landing heavily above her. He stood over her with a boot on either side of her middle and grinned down at her menacingly. He pulled back an arm, sparks popping in his palm, the moment before he brought it down towards her face. Izumi's eyes shot to the left, glimpsing the open space beside her and a moment later she disappeared. Bakugo stood back up clearly taken back by her sudden disappearance before sweeping a boot out in front of him, testing if she had only turned herself invisible, but his boot only moved through thin air. Bakugo recalled her swift glance off to the side and turned to face the direction she had looked and found her standing clear from him.

"Surprised?" she asked mockingly to which Bakugo responded with an angered sneer.

"What a cheap trick!" Bakugo shot back as he turned his hips and aimed a palm at her, but before he could ignite his sweat she was gone again. Predicting her next move Bakugo swung around quickly to find her standing close behind him, catching her in the act of reaching out to grab him. Bakugo let loose some blasts forward so he shot back, creating distance between them. He had a good grasp on her quirk now, being able to teleport, and if she could activate her quirk while touching others, it was best for him to keep his distance. Bringing a fist to his palm, he raised his arms for a concentrated AP shot. Izumi, seeing that Bakugo was about to attack again, teleported forward, first to the left and then before Bakugo could twist around to face her again, she jumped again to the right, closing the distance between them with each jump she did. Finally, having closed the gap she went in to grab him from behind, but Bakugo sensed her next move and let off blasts towards the ground, lifting his body up into the air, avoiding Izumi's hands. She stumbled forward through the empty space, feeling the heat above her from Bakugo who let his body fall down against her back, forcing Izumi to the ground while Bakugo sat atop of her triumphantly.

"Midoriya" called a voice off to the side of the field as All Might appeared down the path, lifting a hand in greeting to Izuku he came to stand beside him, watching the struggle between Izumi and Bakugo.

"I heard explosions, although I'm surprised to see it's not you training with young Bakugo" he commented.

"It's less training and more of a battle" added Izuku as he watched from the side. The fight was difficult to watch. Naturally he wanted to jump into the fray and intervene, but he could tell how determined Izumi felt to prove herself and she was right, watching her in action was a good chance to see where she was at.

"Should you stop them?" asked All Might, glancing back to Izuku uncertainly. Izuku just shook his head.

Izumi squirmed and trashed under Bakugo's weight, her wrists pinned down beside her by Bakugo's knees as he smirked down at her.

"Aw, what happened to all that confidence" her sneered down at her. Izumi's brow furrowed with anger and she squirmed harder trying to free herself from beneath him which only made Bakugo laugh. Izuku knew too well that physical fights with Bakugo only seemed to give him more energy to direct back at his opponent and he knew exactly how his sister felt.

Izumi had different ideas though. During her frantic thrashing beneath Bakugo she managed to kick off one of her shoes and while Bakugo was distracted by her failed attempts to escape him she managed to pull off her sock by rubbing it against her remaining shoe. Now, with a bare foot, all she had to do was touch him. She increased her efforts to squirm free from Bakugo, all the while lifting her leg up and over her back, her muscles stretching to the point of pain, but all she had to do was touch his back while he was distracted. With the effort it took to bend her leg over, her front half stiffened and Bakugo suddenly perked up, noticing that something was off. He moved to turn to look back, sensing that Izumi was up to something and just in time as he noticed her foot, her toe brushed his back and with that single instant of touch, she used her quirk to teleport them both across the field.

Both of their bodies separated and they rolled across the ground, throwing up dust with the force of Izumi's jump. Izumi was back on her feet in an instant while Bakugo seemed taken aback for a second, but he recovered quickly, much faster than Izuku did, but that moment was all Izumi needed to close the gap between them and grabbed his shoulder before he could move to push her away. In a second she jumped them across the field again, this time holding onto him, jumping again and again in quick succession all over the field, till she herself started to feel the effects of her quirk flip her stomach. Landing after her last jump, she pushed away from Bakugo, landing back on her feet steadily, taking a few deep breaths to calm her uneasy stomach. Bakugo fell back to the ground without Izumi's support, but even then, he amazed Izumi as he staggered to his feet and glared at her through half closed eyes.

"You bi-" he opened his mouth to speak, but quickly doubled over, throwing up on the ground by his feet. He staggered sideways a step before righting himself again. Standing up again he staggered towards her with a menacing glance. He came to a stop before Izumi, glaring down at her.

"If you think you've won, think again" he growled down to her, hot breath washing over Izumi's face, but she was frozen in place. She hadn't used her quirk against people much, but most would be sick and unable to get up after only one jump, some people it took a few, but Bakugo. She'd never met anyone who could take that much and still stand. Bakugo moved to raise a hand to Izumi.

"Kacchan!" called Izuku from the side of the field. He took a step towards them, ready to intervene, but Bakugo froze at his words. His red eyes glanced over to where Izuku stood before he clicked his tongue in annoyance and stepped back. Izumi suddenly felt like she could breathe again. Now she could see why Izuku had warned her against sparring with him. He was far more intense than she had experienced before.

Done with the fight, Bakugo left the field without a word to anyone and walked calmly back down the path he had come.

"Are you alright?" asked Izuku as he came to stand beside her. Izumi slumped to her knees, surprising her brother, and let out a long sigh.

"Pretty bold of you to take on young Bakugo" commented All Might casually as he joined them, stopping mid-way to kick dirt over where Bakugo had been sick. He was a tall thin man, much taller than Izumi had thought from his appearances on TV, but he smiled warmly to her.

"I just didn't want to look weak" replied Izumi honestly from the ground. Izuku held out a hand to her, pulling her back to her feet.

"You took on Kacchan and held your own. There's no way you'd look weak with that" smiled Izuku, seeming genuinely thrilled about it.

"It's true," added All Might, "although if you were to face him again he will be more on-guard now that he knows about your quirk" Izumi nodded. She turned to face her brother expectantly, wiating for his thoughts.

"Well," started Izuku. Izumi's wide expetant eyes told him that she wanted to hear his thoughts about training, "I think you could make this quirk work really well in combat. We can start with some basic moves and then incorporate your quirk into it later" Izumi nodded eagerly at his words and after seeing her in action, he looked foward to their training together even more.

Bonus:

As Bakugo headed back to the dorms he grumbled to himself. How could he let some little girl surprise him like that? It had taken everything he had to push himself back to his feet after she had tossed him all around the field like that. Luckily, throwing up had helped him recover from it a lot faster.

Worse yet, she was related to Deku.

He clenches his jaw in annoyance as he reached the front door to their dorm and went inside. He paused in the entryway to kick off his shoes, picking them up and placing them nicely along the wall. Further in he could hear his classmates chattering away like a flock of birds in the lounge, but he wanted nothing more to than shower and go to bed. His stomach still wasn't feeling up to a meal right now, despite it's emptiness.

"Woah Kacchan," called Kaminari, leaning back across the couch to look at him as he passed. Bakugo just wanted to ignore him.
"What the hell hapopened to you, your all covered in dirt" laughed Kaminari, catching the attention of others in the room, "Wow, Midorriya must have really done a number on you today. Losing your touch a bit" he mocked with a big smile. Bakugo clenched his jaw tighter.

Don't snap, he told himself, Just ignore him.

"And what's that smell?" asked Kaminari, the least jokingly since Bakugo's return. He knew he must have been referring to the vomit that had splashed onto his pants.

"What the hell's your problem!" screamed back Bakugo furiously. Kaminari was shocked from his outburt for a moment, befor ehis lips turned up into a sly know-it-all smile that only made Bakugo angrier.

Murder is wrong he told himself, choosing to turn away. He would seethe in the shower instead.
