I do not own the Vampire Diaries or the CW. I know it takes a quarantine to get me to write. I read this again and I decided to continue it.

Bonnie went inside The Grill and spotted Damon seated at the bar area now. He was talking to the bartender who nodded as he poured Damon some bourbon.

"Like I said, I have never been stood up."

Bonnie decided to sit next to him at that moment. "Well there's a first time for everything," she said, smiling.

"Look judgey. That woman lucked out on this. I mean have you seen me." Damon said, moving his eyebrows up and down.

Bonnie rolled her eyes and ordered a Shirley Temple.

"I know you would never admit it, Bon but deep down I'm everyone's type. Anyway this is the last time I try online dating." She could clearly see the anger in his eyes.

"Maybe something happened to her," Bonnie offered, trying her best to not sound nervous.

"Whatever," Damon said, taking out a book. Bonnie read the title and realized it was the book she wanted.

"Another round," Damon said to the bartender. He began to read the first page and she knew he was trying to hide how he really felt by reading the book.

"Damon," she whispered as a Shirley Temple was put in front of her.

He looked over at her for the first time and he licked his lips. "Why are you dressed like that?" He took in her red sexy dress and high boots.

"Oh, I thought Jeremy was going to be here and.."

"Jeremy doesn't deserve you," Damon said, shaking his head. "He doesn't. He's an immature little boy and you and I don't even get along but he's just horrible."

Bonnie was surprised that Damon was talking like this. Every time they usually bickered but now they are having a somewhat decent conversation so she decided to be bold.

"Then who deserves me?" she stated.

There was a faraway look in his eyes as he thought about how to answer her. What was he thinking? Bonnie wanted to desperately know.

"You're too good for this world, Bon. The truth is no one does."

"No I'm not," she said. "I deserve someone. I'm not a saint."

"Is someone getting off their high horse?" he asked. Glancing over at her, he took in her emerald eyes and how they seemed to be pondering something.

Bonnie sipped her Shirley Temple and said, "Whatever. I'm sorry she didn't show."

"That's because she's an idiot," Damon clutched his fists as he stated it as if it was a fact.

Elena and Stefan stared into The Grill and watched as Damon and Bonnie talked.

"Are they dating?" Elena asked Stefan.

"Yes I guess they are." Stefan had a goofy grin on his face.

"Elena, we have to act like we don't know."

"Yeah, yeah. We know how both of them are. So when they're fighting from now on, we'll know they are trying to keep it a secret."

"Yep I just can't believe. I mean all that pent up frustration and it led to this. I have to write in my diary now."

"You have a diary?" Elena asked. "May I read it?"

"It's been a little dull til now of course."

"I did something bad, Stefan."

"Elena, what did you do?"

"I'm not going to read this book. Do you want it? I mean I know you only read your witchy books, but you need something new to add to your collection. "

"I don't only read Grimoires," she stated seriously, "but yes I'll take it."

Damon handed her the book and she took it.

"Never heard of it," she yawned, pretending like she wasn't interested in it.

"Of course you haven't," he said.

He enjoyed bickering with Bonnie and at least it kept him from thinking about being stood up. They both spotted Jeremy and Damon said, "I guess you're leaving."

"Yeah I better go."

"I'll distract him and you can leave through the back."

"Thanks, Damon."

Taking her book with her, she went to the back of The Grill and made her exit all the while thinking that Damon wasn't so bad after all.

Jeremy walked over to Damon. "Hey, have you seen Bonnie?"

"Does it look like I associate with the witch?"

"Look have you seen her or not," Jeremy said with his puppy eyes.

"Yeah I have Bonnie trapped in my bedroom," Damon said, enjoying the way Jeremy's nose flared.

"Look, Damon your jokes suck. And by the way you wish."

Damon was feeling hungry and wanted more than anything to snap Jeremy's neck right now but he refrained. One day I will have her in my head he thought and he didn't know where that thought had come from but he welcomed it.

"You will never have her, and I know I don't deserve her, but Elena said Bonnie was going to meet some guy she met on the internet and I just hope she's okay."

Damon's eyes bulged as he heard what Jeremy just said and suddenly everything made sense.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed and if Bonnie and Damon made it in the prison world we can make it through this quarantine too. Keep the peace.
