If you didn't read Ending 1: picking up from the barn:

"'You tell me it's ok.'"

"'Dean...it's ok...'"Sam's voice shook, unable to deny Dean what he asked to hear. But, he took another look at his brother and then viciously shook his head. "No." He suddenly said emphatically. "No. This is not how you die, Dean. Not today. Not like this. Not by some stupid nail. Dean, look at me, stay with me, listen to me. It is NOT ok."

From Ending 1:

"Listen to me," he said emphatically. "Sam, we did it. We're finally free to make our own choices. No more following orders, no more Chuck. NO deals. You've always wanted out," his voice started to shake, "Eileen. Take it. Take care of her. Promise me."

"Dean."

"Promise me, Sam."

"I promise. I love you, Dean."

"Lll-ve," Dean slurred, before taking a deep breath, "Sammy."

Sam shook his head and nodded with fervor. "No. You're not dying today, Dean."

Sam closed his eyes. "Jack! Jack, we need you! Please, please Dean needs you."

Sam opened his eyes. No one was there. Dean was looking paler by the second and the blood wasn't stopping.

"Sam, listen to me." Dean said.

"Shut up," Sam insisted, pushing harder against Dean's chest. "You fight! You hear hear me! Call Jack. You never really forgave him. You don't get to leave me here! Call Jack!"

Dean looked at his little brother, never able to resist the pleading puppy like look Sam was giving him. Besides, Sam was right. He'd never told Jack what he'd finally been able to accept. Dean patted his other hand over his brother's and closed his eyes. His voice was a whisper, "Jack. Jack, I need you. I need to tell you you've always been family. And someone once told me sometimes 'family is supposed to make you miserable, that's why they're family.' You know I once blamed you for Mary. I forgave you for that. I did. And I'm proud of you. Of what you did. Did for the world, did for us. And now, I'm not trying to call in a favor here…but, all the same…Jack, please, help us right now."

Sam's focus was locked on Dean, who hadn't opened his eyes again, but was still breathing, albeit very shallowly.

"Dean. Sam." Jack called softly.

Dean's eyes fluttered open and Sam whipped around. "Jack!"

Jack smiled gently, walking slowly over to them. "You're my family, too. Always will be. And you've earned a break." Jack closed his eyes, muttering in Enochian, as he added his hand over Sam's and Dean's and his other finger tracing a pattern on Dean's opposite shoulder.

Dean took a deep, filling breath, the blood suddenly clotted and color returned to his face. Dean looked at Jack. "Thank you. I really meant what I said. Should have said it a long time ago. I forgive you, Jack."

"I know." Jack looked at Dean. "Dean, it's just this once. You do understand? You're always family, but I have my role now, too. I can't keep interfering every time. Besides, I know you don't want that. You'll have to be more careful."

Dean nodded and placed on his famous kick ass smile, "What are you talking about. Always am."

Jack laughed, along with Sam, whom he turned to. "Sam. Look out for him. He'll still need a doctor."

Sam let out more breath than he'd realized he'd been holding. "Of course. Jack, thank you. I always do."
